AubyDoAmazing Resource!!I studied mind body syndrome in 2018 and began to apply some of the practices in order to address my chronic pain. I saw great results. After a few years of reprieve, I let 2022 through today completely hijack my nervous system with chronic pain. I think I had amnesia and forgot all that I had learned. I was so determined to fix myself and I hyper focused on my symptoms. It has robbed me of life and joy. Then I discovered Jen and I have been voraciously consuming every episode. The content has been a grace gift and I’m already seeing results after a week. Thank you for doing this podcast and keeping your faith at the center. You are an answer to prayer.

DoovinsSo much hope to heal my chronic painJess Vangsnes: Cultivate the Ordinary Podcast and resilience coach I am loving Jen’s podcast. Her approach and tons of topics help me keep my mindset on curiosity, my needs, emotions and off the fear/fix it cycle. I also enjoy her faith perspective which is a huge resource for me and my clients also.

LotusFlower2Fantastic info!Jen Johnson shares amazing information on brain science and how it relates to chronic pain. I am finally learning to overcome the panic, anxiety, and fear I have dealt with the past several decades, as well as how to process the trauma of my past. I highly recommend this podcast for literally everyone - it's a great way to learn how to be emotionally healthy and find the freedom from fear that Jesus offers! Thank you, Jen!

All Things New HealthMuch needed resource for Christian perspective on pain neuroscienceI was in high levels pain when I came across the website for the film This Might Hurt and found you in the resources there. Your podcast has been crucial in tying all the pieces of information together from a biblical perspective, especially in regard to understanding personality traits that contribute to pain (fascinating!) and other practical aspects like how to journal with hope and replacing unhealthy patterns with the truth of the scriptures. This is a much needed resource for Christians who are suffering from any kind of chronic pain and want to learn about how to reverse symptoms. So much of this aligns with scripture and provides so much hope where there often is none. As my pain has subsided, I am so thankful and praise God for allowing our bodies and minds to heal, giving us confidence there is "a way out" of chronic pain! I now truly appreciate the real meaning of 2 Corinthians 10:5 "take every thought captive."
