I’m not sure I’ve made it through an episode of Made for This without tears! You know, those tears that come from experiencing the freedom and peace that only Jesus can give us. Every episode brings a reminder of who God is and who I am in Him and how this allows me to walk through all the grief and suffering of life with freedom, peace, and hope because I walk in the unforced rhythms of Gods grace. Jennie and her guests are humble and real as they share their own experiences that we can all relate to. For the past 8 years I’ve felt beat down by my trauma and the heavy weight of life in this fallen world. Like Jennie says, the ONLY way through is Jesus. I know this firsthand. How is it that time after time these podcasts hit me with what I need to hear? Today’s topic on loneliness was not a series of words to make me feel better, but a challenge to live up to what God has created me to be: someone who reaches out to another to invite them into a real relationship of truth and grace. How better to be salt and light, as Jesus says I am, in a culture that pressures me to be someone else? While listening to this podcast several people and situations came to mind, to start being my real self and to invite someone else to be loved and accepted. Thanks, Jennie.

Jennie you woke me up when I tuned into If: in 2014. I read Anything and did the Restless study and within a couple months my life had been wrecked forever. (In a good but terrifying way)Living outside of the template is really hard and scary, but I’d choose it again and again. Thank you for continuing to share from where you are.

I got invited to do a bible study at the beginning of last year. I didn’t really know these girls or anything about the Bible study but I felt God pushing me, so I said yes. That’s how I found you, Jennie. We did the untangle your emotions bible study and I still to this day recommend it to everyone I know. It completely changed my prospective on my relationship with Jesus. I feel like I now could write a book on how my life has changed since reading your books and listening to your podcast.
