minileroyKnowledgeable & funGreat mix of analytics, reporting, and self-deprecating humor. Really well done. Aaron and John are a treasure for Twins fans.
-
staticnullThe OG podcastI really have enjoyed this monthly ad supported podcast over the years. Original Gleeman or Original Geek? You decide. Go Twins!
-
CTA BlowsGleeman Loves Him Some Pohlad’sThe Geek is only reason to listen to this podcast. Gleeman thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room and everyone else doesn’t have a clue. I’ve never @ him in my life on X yet somehow I criticize the Pohlad’s for their TV deal and cutting payroll this year last week and he blocks me from the show and his personal account…talk about going out and searching for people to block lol. He’s soft as Charmin and there are better podcasts out there were constructive criticism of the team is encouraged not shot down.

Nick.Burke9Beauty and the GleekYa know, I’ve been meaning to write a review on this show that I’ve spent so many hours of my life listening to, but hearing that new intro song made me finally take the time. Cheers to you both. Can’t wait to hear about the offseason!

7HOFThanks for the $700Took your advice and drove to Iowa today to put $50 down on CLE to win the division (+1400). - Disgruntled MN Twins Season Ticket Holder Aaron

JLloyd952Awesome Podcast for Baseball FansBeen getting back into baseball again, and this podcast has been awesome. I’m now going to look into the Patreon.

PenThAngIf your a Twins fan you should try this outI came across this podcast when it was brand new, it has gotten better with time. As a Twins fan living in Texas I was looking for a way to listen to Twin Cities sports radio, but streaming radio wasn’t a thing yet. What I found was this podcast. John and Aaron have smoothed out the presentation over the years but they have always been entertaining and informative. If you like Basball and your interested in the Minnesota Twins you really should give this a try, I think you’ll find it value added and enjoyable.
-
jbeckrSelf-promotingThey spend the first 30 minutes of every podcast talking about how popular their articles and podcasts are, and asking you to sign up for patreon. Very little Twins content. Gleeman is obnoxious.

MSUcatz1For the podcast algorithm godsTo future podcast lister. If you read this, and listen, after enjoyed the show you must comment and 5 stars. Give ‘em a reward for the hard work they put into the episode.

GeorgeD_87Best Twins PodcastI’ve been a Gleeman & Geek listener since Day One after finding Aaron’s writing in the early 2000s. The Twins market has no one else who comes close to the quantity or quality of content about the team — combine that with the fun banter and good-natured ribbing and you have a great weekly podcast. Go find the Patreon for more!
-
RSno9Johnny Bonnes!I’ve listened to almost all of them! Great guys, great podcast, despite the fact Gleeman blocked me on Twitter! 🤣 didn’t like my questions on what to do with Pagan I guess? 🤷🏻♂️
-
BobBakkenTighten upEnjoy the show, I think it would be great content but with the useless banter included the show length is too long. Try to get more focused and keep the show at no longer than an hour.
-
twins42069It’s been a week!Love the show, mostly kidding but where’s the show, twins just took 2/3 over the weekend, last free show was the 22nd and no new Patreon or free show to recap to help pass the Monday workday :(
-
figmg$758Please fix audio !Love the podcast but please fix the background white noise.
-
Matho18Love the podcast butI’ve been a listener for the past few years and love the show. My only complaint as of late is the continuous rehashing of being disrespected on your way up. We get it and we are happy for you guys, but the past 5-6 podcasts have spent 15+ min telling us about the disrespect writers showed you, about how tough it was and yada yada yada. Same story, different podcast episode. It was interesting the first time I heard it but I’m actually starting to get frustrated by it now. Turned off the podcast for the first time since I started listening 5 years ago.

stimperLongtime listenerPatreon and OG listener…I go back to Aaron’s original blog. Now out of state, I religiously listen to the podcast on Monday AM. On the new release schedule it’s often a week late but that’s been my tradition since their first episodes. Fill in with a few patrons. Great insight and very listenable.
-
middle usaDespite the TwinsI started listening last spring and now I never miss an episode, just think how interesting they would be If the twins were any good.

TCU#3John’s coughingJohn’s constant coughing or throat clearing is nasty.
-
Willis_12Diversity of thoughtLove the show, I listen every week faithfully even during the off-season. Gives me great insight into the inner workings of the twins and how the team is run. I also really appreciate how it’s void of hyperbolic opinions and click bait. Straight to news, notes, and data. HOWEVER, Aaron Gleeman, you need to let John Bonnes share his opinion more freely. John has great thoughts, outside opinions and insight. You shoot him down far too often and his voice is often not heard. Let him talk, he may even teach you something. Great show guys; everyone interested in (Twins) baseball should give a listen.

quackwBally sportsBecause I can’t watch twins baseball this season I no longer need to watch this show.. thanks Bally sports.. worst company ever

-
Nash14356Gleeeeeeman and the GeekI have listened to this show for a while so I feel confident in these. Strengths of Aaron: - Noticeable, awesome passion for the Twins - League-wide knowledge and understanding - Good at explaining things to the less-knowledgeable fan Strengths of John: - General charisma - Thinks through things very pragmatically - Great laugh
-
NeeechawlExcellent PodcastLove the chemistry between John and Aaron , the show flows very well, and they definitely know their Twins ! This is a must for Minnesota fans !

mpkennedy3Great Twins PodcastUpdated: downgrading to a four star only because now that they have a patreon side, I feel like there is a 5 minute live promo of them promoting the patreon side. This is on top of usually three sponsors they promote. Understand they are trying to make some money, no fault in they. It just is getting to be a lot for a supposedly free podcast. The rest of the elreview is still valid other than as they gotten bigger, you don’t seems to get the brewery and restaurant reviews anymore, which is a shame. Gleeman and The Geek is an excellent Twins podcast. They know their stuff on all things Twins, and they also give a great review of the local Brews/Breweries and Resturants in the Twin Cities. They add a bit of humor talking about their lives and personal experiences (this can turn into half the show during the offseason). Great addition to the local take on the Twins.
-
sad 9900338Fun baseball talkThe show is a delight to listen to. It’s free of the hot take let’s argue just to argue talk and really dives into good baseball talk not just blah blah blah scratch the surface baseball arguments. I’d recommend it for any baseball fan.
-
wilco321Stick to twins baseball!!!I wait all week to hear you talk baseball. Please,if I want to hear your opinion about protest I would encourage you to start a new podcast and I would have a choice to listen to that. Very disappointing today.
-
Southside twins fanCalm down AaronI’ve listened to nearly every show. I’m a patreon subscriber. It’s the highlight of my week when a new episode drops. This show is the best when you guys have thorough, thoughtful analysis, and even better when you disagree respectfully. That said I don’t know how much more I can take of Aaron brow beating John. It seems as though any slip of the tongue is met with instant disdain and there’s no willingness for clarification. This completely distracts from all the good you guys bring to the Twins community.
-
ShopillaGreat show but gleeman needs to check his egoLove the show, but I’m about to stop listening due to Gleeman wasting half the show trying to shoot down every opinion anyone else brings up due to their stupidity for having an opinion. This anger he brings makes him look unprofessional and amateurish. His potential looks low with this attitude. Maybe he should seek therapy.
-
Otero HMy Minnesota FixGood show and just enjoy these 2 guys. Great dynamic between the 2.
-
The Mr JatteGreat EntertainmentBeen listening to these guys for years love their show
-
PropnurseGreat pod for Minnesota Twins fans.Expatriate a Minnesotan who lives in Los Angeles, and I have lived and died with the twins ever since I was a little kid in the early 60s. Very thoughtful analysis and updates on the Twins.
-
jav60HayThe Geek part of the show is a lot better than the Gleeman part.
-
StretchHooliganFantasticThese guys are the best. Will be a listener for the rest of the season no doubt! Thanks guys!!

Mini Soda MadfanMust Listen For All Twins FansAs an out-of-state, die-hard Twins fan, this podcast is a MUST LISTEN for all Twins fans—casual and hardcore alike. Aaron brings an objective, analytic commentary on all aspects of the ball-club: front office roster moves, in-game & lineup decisions, and player performance. All of which is balanced with John’s happy-go-lucky emotional fan perspective. Aaron also brings a wealth of knowledge of the Twins’ minor league players that isn’t available elsewhere. After listening to the show thru the Twins’ last 6-7 miserable seasons, the podcast brings another way to enjoy and keep up with the 2019 Minnesota Twins. Keep up the good work!

EvanNelsonThey can build this thing together.Stand this stormy weather. Nothing’s gonna stop them now.
-
t-dog 07So enjoyable.Have been listening since episode 10. John and Aaron have a great dynamic, are open and honest and above all, have deepened my love for the Twins and baseball. I’ve also personally experienced one instance where John has shown a caring heart to me as a listener going through a tough time.
-
MrDean SweetAssGleeman & Geek Awesome Show Great Job!I really like these guys. Very insightful while keeping it fun. Also, I picture them looking like Eric Wareheim and Tim Heidecker.
-
tony hoagSpot onI value and respect the opinions of both men.
-
BrodieMNVery entertainingGood analysis with a touch of comedy.
-
mr.fogzFunny baseball showGood weekly Minnesota Twins fix even in the offseason

metstwinsAaron GleemanA true story about this guy - A few years ago I wrote an email to him suggesting that Byron Buxton , might not work out to be the great player the Twins and their fans hoped for. I was looking forward to an informed response from Gleeman. Instead I got this caustic, insulting response that basically called me an idiot for writing to him. So my conclusion is that he is a big (based on photos - very big) jerk who treats differing opinions with disrespect and disdain. His ego is much larger than his willingness to listen to others. I no longer listen to his podcast because I do not want to support someone with his values and personality.
-
NimueoftheBigWoodsMy favorite podcastSorry Every Other Podcast I listen to: this one is my favorite. It’s the only one that I check for on its release day and play immediately when it appears in my feed. Aaron and John have a great chemistry— a couple of guys talking Twins baseball, armed with facts and a clear-sighted analysis of the team.
-
GeorgeCostansaWow!No question the best Twins related baseball podcast, and I think there's an argument that it's the best baseball podcast overall. Two knowledgeable hosts that know how to play off each other perfectly. A great mix of humor and analysis. Highly recommend!
-
mikementhRamblingThese guys are hard to listen to when looking for insight on the Twins. The last podcast was a full 15 minutes of promoting a book and just rambling before they got to any Twins coverage. The second half of each podcast is usually drowned out by them laughing at each others jokes and talking up their sponsors for much longer than needed. If the podcast is an hour and half maybe half of that is what Twins fans are looking for.
