This podcast has way too many advertisements. It is like watching TV in the 80s. Interesting topics though.

Not only is this show interesting, but the content is helpful in promoting more understanding between opposing parties. David Eagleman is using his platform to help heal the rifts in our country and I applaud him.

This is just David Eagleman talking. I usual much prefer discussion but he pulls it off very well.

Very informative For the people always complaining with stuff like volume, slowness, and commercials, you can turn down the volume, speed up the audio, and skip through the commercials.

Dr. Eagleman’s lectures are a must for anyone with a brain, (Ha Ha)!

Should me mandatory listening for every high school kid. Great philosophy and debate on truth and WHY It’s so tough to nail down. I think I love David Eagleman, and the way he teaches because he forces you to think and look at a problem from so many great facets and directions. But again, maybe that’s just my perspective from a like-thinking, science based, simple answers for complex question is bad advice kind of guy. Haha. Great work man! Keep making humans think. It’s worthwhile.

I regularly say to myself after episodes, “Wow, that was so good!” Dr. Eagleman shares complex information and research in an accessible way. Everything about it is five stars from the topics covered to the sound quality. It’s a must listen!

My hope is the sense of openness, awe and willingness to discover more shared in this presentation will inspire those who are trapped in the illusions of security through blinders to ask questions again. I had my doubts about this series…so pleased I remained. Many thanks.

There’s seldom that I come across a podcast that seems genuinely in love with science and the human experience. I’m always chasing a Carl Sagan type personality. Dr Eagleman is definitely that kind guy.

Listen to any episode. Dr. Eagleman is a genius for new material in the sci-fi movie industry. He’s a phenomenal writer and the energy in which this podcast is related is nothing but star-spangled! I was a little worried I was being “culted” at first bc he’s so passionate but after a thorough Goog I have determined him to be of sane mind and great ideas. Carry on, friend! 🫡

David Eagleman is a breath of fresh air & exactly what we need today-at this precise moment in time. Why are we politically and racially so divided when we know we can treat each other in a more humane way? This podcast is a start down a path of enlightened co-habitation. Thank-you David, maybe if we understand why we can do better.

More people need to be listening. The pod creator does a good job explaining complicated concepts pertaining to the mind. Highly recommended for anybody with a thirst for knowledge!

Fantastic show and your explanations are great, dumbed down but not too dumbed down. I know your excited by what you do but might want to tone it down a little for people wearing ear buds.. keep it going

Fascinating well-researched topics are covered but Dr Eagleman’s over-dramatic speaking style ruins it for me. A lot of things are over-explained; it sometimes feels “dumbed down” Worth a try but not for me

The episodes are fascinating and the way they’re told through storytelling rather than a ton of data and/or science jargon make them really easy to follow without sacrificing the educational aspect. The titles of some episodes are a little strange until you listen to the episode for the contest. You may be better off reading the episode descriptions if you’re looking to know the subject matter before listening to an episode.

Just discovered this podcast and I love it! David is engaging and entertaining while explaining complicated things. So well done!

This is my new favorite podcast! David Eagleman is absolutely brilliant, he introduces new concepts and ideas with eloquence and playfulness. He has the imagination of a person humble enough to understand that we don’t yet have all the answers and helps me as an individual to have the confidence to keep asking questions and continue to learn. David Eagleman is my absolute favorite modern scientist of our time, he manages to make these complex concepts easy to understand and fun to learn about. So grateful for this podcast, please keep them coming!

It’s cool to hear some of the positive stories from using alternative sensory technologies and interpretations that help people to connect to the environments in new and exciting ways! It’s funny - like autonomic body systems- the senses get taken for granted- but they are so interesting! Gratitude

I’ve been a fan of David’s work for well over a decade when I discovered his books Incognito & Sum 40 Tales from the Afterlives so I was super excited for this. Unfortunately the commercial breaks make it somewhat unlistenable. I REALLY TRIED!! I think David should go independent and do his own ad reads. Not sure if that’s feasible but if it ever happens I’ll listen!

Listening to this podcast feels like auditing a neuroscience class at Stanford… except it’s free, and I can do it while cleaning the kitchen. The tone and delivery reminds me of the podcast Work Life with Adam Grant. I appreciate how the episodes relate to and build off one another. Excited to keep learning!

The content is fascinating &he seems like a really nice guy. BUT he shouts like an Old time AM DJ throughout the whole thing! I can’t take it; my head is exploding! (If he spoke during the podcast the way he does when speaking to another person, it would be great)

I can’t stand his slow drawn out voice, it enrages me every time I hear a commercial for this podcast.

David Eagleman is by far my favorite science communicator. And this podcast definitely doesn’t disappoint! He explains complex topics simply without oversimplifying and losing the context and details. Eagleman is also one of the most open minded and humble scientists working today. Too many scientists/academics have ditched the genuine curiosity that fueled some of the most important discoveries in science in favor of a completely arrogant type of skepticism that hinders the imagination and curiosity needed for progress. I hope more scientists look to Eagleman for an example of how science can once again reach new frontiers.

Just listened to my first episode about why memories can be formed in slow motion during an emergency. I’ve always wondered about this having experienced it myself. Fascinating episode!

This new show is interesting, but the background music distracts from, rather than enhances, the listening experience. It’s like being in a noisy restaurant.
