Fun interesting and we learn stuff!
I love the way these guys are such great friends that they finish each other’s sentences and laugh at each other in such a kind but witty way. They have great podcast voices and make me feel like a friend.

    The Best
The best podcast, the best podcasters. Josh and Chuck are smart, funny, and can make anything interesting and entertaining. The topics are great and the running jokes continue to make me laugh every time.

    Good podcast
Good podcast. They mess up sometimes, but the quality of the rest makes up for it.

    A fun way to learn
You know the saying “you learn something new everyday”? It’s true when it’s as easy as listening to conversations on a wide variety of topics

    Amazing
Great show I have been listening for years and I still love it. It’s my go to podcast for car rides

    Amazing podcast
This podcast is amazing for many reasons. One: this podcast has a ginormous variety of topics from the Alcatraz prison escape to the history of toys. Two:this podcast can be for anyone they have episodes for the younger ones and one for people more mature. Three: Josh and chuck are amazing people who can talk about any type of subject and still get a laugh from us

    Almost every time
I love this show for all the usual reasons. However, if I have deep interest or expertise in the topic, I usually skip the episode. They do their best, and it's entertainment. Open to corrections or additions from listeners, they know there's never going to be enough time to cover everything about a given subject. There are other shows for experts with expertise. Stuff You Should Know is for fun. I listen a behavioral health podcast every week. It's a pretty technical two hour lecture, and it's BORING! we should all be grateful this show isn't that.

Show has clearly run its course
I listened to the first few seasons and they were great. If you decide to listen, start at the beginning, but they clearly ran out of ideas that they could speak intelligently on years ago… The show has been horrible for years now.

    Outstanding!
I’ve been a fan of SYSK for a while, but I just had to stop and praise the 2 episodes about ADHD. I have been married to someone with ADHD for 34 years, and learned A LOT that I didn’t know. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Thank you for the ADHD episodes!
As someone who has struggled with undiagnosed ADHD all my life and now diving deeply into it at age 55, I’m deeply grateful for these episodes and would welcome more on the topic of Neurodiversity! I’ve been very open about my journey and have been sharing these two episodes with my family & community, especially those who don’t have it so they can better understand us. Thank you for your candor and empathy and research. You guys are the best 🥰

    Tbh life changing sometimes
Such a great podcast in general but as someone who was not diagnosed until my mid 20s & who didn’t do anything about it until my mid 40s, the ADHD episodes blew my ADHD mind & I’ve been sharing them w pretty much anyone who will listen.
  • Joohns1
    Non professionals discussing ADHD
It’s irresponsible and unethical for people who are not medical or mental health professionals to discuss a mental health disorder.
  • Annoymous2023
    Uniformed on many topics
I understand that they want to cover many topics, but I don’t think they should talk on subject they’re clearly uninformed and uneducated on, especially science and health related.

    Wait. What?
I can’t believe I haven written a review yet. I started listening in ~2017, and have been a fan ever since. Probably my all-time favorite podcast. I’m easily annoyed by a lot of podcast hosts after listening to hundreds of episodes, but not with SYSK. This podcast is a must. Great hosts and great content, and a great format. Update: still the f&$:@/? best. Update # 2: still the best.

    The Best
These guys are it. This show has gotten me through boredom, depression, anxiety, grief, quitting smoking, getting fired, the pandemic, family illness, family wellness, family trauma, new jobs, breaks ups, breakthroughs, breakdowns and most recently, ELECTION FATIGUE. I come away from every episode with just a little more information than I started with. Do I retain every grain of data? No way, but just comb through the episodes! You’re guaranteed to find something to fascinate you while waiting for: bus, plane, Uber, train, self driving taxi, pizza delivery, baby delivery, dentist’s appointments, doctor’s appointments, therapy appointments, basically any kind of appointment. Heck, there’s an episode devoted to most of the stuff I listed. It’s the show about EVERYTHING. You cannot go wrong. Just go listen. Want a first episode recommendation? How The Great Train Robbery Worked. Not to be missed. Do something good for your psyche. Give “Stuff” a CHANCE.

    Good job
They are amazing. Their laughs are so awesome and they talk about the best movies and sometimes the worst movies. I find them really useful to doze off to and find interesting useful information.

    One of my favorites
Definitely one of my top podcasts, I listen to it all the time!

    Good on the surface…
Great show, when you aren’t really familiar with the subject/content…. They cover a subject you know well and you realize how little they know and how much judgement and commentary they are adding…
  • Vagsmaker
    Terrible
Horrible speed. Their laughs are very irritating. Show relays nothing of historical significance. Surprised their fan base is as wide as it is.

Please do an episode on Canadian Hero Terry Fox. His life and legacy are worth celebrating on the podcast

    MEN…stration?
Long time listener, but these two have progressed into unintelligible lunacy. They’ve adopted the ideas of the anti-scientific gender cult that seeks to reduce women to “People who menstruate.” Finally gotta cut ties with this one.
  • Sweetjennyd
    Great podcast
Love love love this podcast! I wish there was a way within the podcast platform to I use (apples basic podcasting app) to search for specific topics, maybe there is and I just hadn’t figured it out…

Hi josh and chuck!👋🏾 (if you read your reviews which you are such cool dudes that you probably do) I looooove your podcast❤️❤️. I’m 13 and have been a straight two year listener. You guys are awesome and have taught me about so many cool things. Everyone I meet asks me “how do you know that?” when I tell them a cool fact and I just say “I listen to Stuff You Should Know.” and they’re all like “oh cool me too did you know that Jupiter has a moon called hippocamp and a region of you brain that is used for memory is named after it?” And I’m just like “yup”😎
  • dylanman63
    Smart yet ignorant
Josh and Chuck are incredibly intelligent and kind, but it’s frustrating how often they slip into left-wing talking points or stereotypes about Republicans that don’t reflect reality. It undermines their credibility when 5% of their otherwise thoughtful insights sound like propaganda, making them seem out of touch with the true perspectives of independents and many Republicans.

Absolutely love listening to them. Very informative. Thank you, and keep up the great work

    Favorite show
Been a listener since the beginning when episodes were like 10 minutes long and I just really love the show. I listen as soon as each new episode is released. Love that you guys are such a constant in my life!

    Since 2010
I’ve been listening to Chuck and Josh since 2010, they’re estranged friends to me that don’t talk back lol…They know what they’re doing and their relationship with each other is enjoyable to listen to. I’m writing this review because I will taking quite a big break from them, I just wanted to say I love the podcast and I’m excited to come back in the far future to binge hours and hours of episodes. Ta ta for now boys

    Changed My Life
Sometimes it’s just a little things that change your life for the better. When I stumbled up on this podcast four years ago, I was instantly hooked. Since and listen to it every day and I feel like Josh and Chuck are part of my family. I have learned so much over the years and thanks to a wide range of topics I can actually answer more questions on Jeopardy than before.

    Episode on Paramedics
Hi! I’m a new listener and was shown your episode on How Paramedics Work. I’m an EMT and currently going to paramedic school and I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the accuracy and the light you’ve shined on us. You basically covered the entire first chapters of our book, very well. Also! I would like to say that if you guys find out how all the reimbursement happens and the payments works, please make an episode because most of us in the field don’t know lol!

    Bioluminescence - Lucifer
Great episode. I have input about Lucifer. His job was to stand before God and basically refract His light. (You can’t look upon God or you will die. It’s why Moses could only look upon His back.) I’m trained in Theology, and the understanding is that Lucifer, standing with his back to God came to believe that everyone was worshipping him. People can worship anything, and he believed they would worship him. Then came his fall, and all the evil in the world.

    Come to Salt Lake City!
Hey Josh, Chuck, and Jerry, I am from Salt Lake City and have been listening almost since the beginning I think the first episode I found was how shark attacks work from 2012. I’ve been listening ever since and anytime somebody asks about podcasts I tell them they need to check out Stuff You Should Know. You guys put on a great show and it’s gotten better and better over time. Keep it up and hope to see you soon. Christian Oliverson Eagle Mountain, Utah
