    So real and relatable!
From the intro of this podcast, I was hooked. Danielle is real and relatable and covers a wide variety of topics on parenting. I initially found her for support for my strong willed child but I’ve stayed for the many other topics and guests. Thanks, Danielle!

Her advice is practical and real. Every time I've heard her whether at MOPS or podcast or her class, she's down to earth and in it with you and has a nugget of wisdom to share. Also, she specializes in strong willed kids.

    Your New Favorite Podcast
We all need something fun to look forward to. Here it is. Oh, and it’s helpful too. I’m pretty sure you’re going to want to be BFFs with Danielle, and that you’ll have lots of moments of “oh, that’s such a better way to do that.” It’s a blast listening to her, and learning better ways to fail, to succeed, and just to do life in general, especially with our kiddos. You’ll feel like a better parent - and you’ll BE a better parent.

    It’s not just me!
My kids were raised at the height of Gymboree clothes and programs madness, as Pintrist gained traction. I felt doomed. Thank you for reminding us that our “failures” are often our best lessons and can help redirect our priorities.

Danielle is like a grounded best friend in your ear who isn’t afraid to be real with you. Love the variety of topics and I always walk away feeling less alone and like maybe I’m not completely failing this motherhood thing!

    Treasure Trove of Parenting Information
I find myself constantly thumbing through the titles of the Failing Motherhood Podcast to listen to specific issues we are having with our strong-willed kiddo in the moments we are having them. The succinct and applicable information Danielle offers is always helpful and reassuring. Her podcast eventually led us to her Wholeheartedly parenting class, which was a game changer for our family. I cannot recommend her material enough!

    Great conversations to support moms
I was a guest on this podcast and loved not just sharing my insight as a pelvic heath therapists, but also sharing my experiences as a mom. Connecting and relating to others is such a huge piece of navigating motherhood, and I love this podcasts provides that to so many!

Normalizes all of the feelings in motherhood
I love this show and the perspective that we are all the parent our child needs, despite feeling like we may be failing. Danielle is great at bringing on guests with relevant experience and moderating the discussion in a way that helps the discussion apply to parents in multiple situations. Listening to this podcast really helps me be a better parent, because I don’t feel so alone.

    Great explanations!
I love the perspective and the tangible tips to you share but especially the way you explain things in easily digestible points!

    Thank you!
I listened as a desperate mom at the beginning with a teen daughter who wouldn't speak to me and I didn't know why. I realized communication was my issue. I did a lot of lecture and not enough listening. I wish I could have started when she was younger! I took the advice and it worked!! She started staying in the same room with me! I couldn't believe it. Then my 18 yo son suddenly went from mommy's boy to wanting to stay gone. I felt lost again. I knew they grow up but this felt different. I listened to the episode with Aly Pain and OMG!!! Thank you to you!!! I felt like my kids were better off without me bc I was the one they seemed to not want to be around and loved Dad but now I see. Thank you for saving our family and more importantly, thank you for not even knowing that the very day I was walking away (I know this isn't the answer but I was breaking mentally and. Loved them enough to save them) but I looked at my hubby and said "listen now!" From one mom to another, THANK YOU!!!

    Motherhood podcast, gives me strength
Oh my goodness, I felt like I was alone and failing. I know people say you’re not alone, but until you really hear more people talk about the struggles of mom guilt, motherhood, a temper, how to handle those things it is just so nice. I love listening to this podcast and feeling like I’m being heard without even having to have this conversation with someone. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Every mom needs to listen!
I stumbled across Danielle’s podcast about a year ago, and immediately from the first time I listened, I was hooked. I went back and binged from the beginning. She has a way of speaking that makes you feel like she is in your home, and really knows your strong willed kids, and you! It’s almost creepy how spot on she is with scenarios and the advice, and mind shift she gives is unlike anything I’ve ever heard/read. My family just recently “graduated” from her 11-week coaching program, and I can’t recommend it enough. The confidence you gain as a parent is astounding. My child still has “fits of rage😉”, BUT.. they are SOOOO MUCH LESS and I am so much better at dealing with them. I yell A LOT less, I feel less guilty, I stress less about going out in public with her. I am a calmer mom and wife, thanks to this amazing woman for her incredible insight and for creating the most understanding platform for like parents to speak their concerns and really understand each other. The biggest piece was just knowing I’m not alone, and that there are other families that deal with exactly the same behaviors. I will forever be grateful to have found this podcast and group. Thank you Danielle for doing what you do. You are truly amazing.

    I feel seen
This podcast intro alone makes me feel more seen than I have ever felt as a parent. I cried when I heard the intro the first time and after a couple years of listening, I will still go back to this podcast just to listen to the intro some days. Thank you Danielle. I appreciate you more than you know.

    I feel so seen
I started out listening to this podcast and following on socials. I felt so seen and so heard. I remember sending a podcast to my mom and telling her this is my son! Finally someone can help me put it into words what I deal with! Every episode resonates with me in some way or it’s what I needed to hear for some reason. I also had the pleasure of working with Danielle and doing so gave me the confidence to keep going. I absolutely adore Danielle and what she does for us mommas/dads. This is absolutely my favorite podcast and I love keeping up on the latest. Thank you Danielle for helping me and so many others feel soo much less alone.

Felt seen even in the intro
I thought transitioning to motherhood would be a breeze. Spoiler alert-it wasn’t. Send in a colicky baby, turned into a strong willed toddler and a perfectionist mom who loves to compare to other’s high light reels and you have a recipe for disaster. At my wits end for connection I started listening to Failing Motherhood and cried in the introduction because what I was hearing was exactly how I felt and thought. If you’re looking for a mom podcast that lets you feel your feelings and think your thoughts without guilt or shame and actually gives you advice and connection in the end, this is the one.

You are NOT failing and you are NOT alone
I had the pleasure of interviewing Danielle on my podcast and was a guest recently on hers as well. Danielle’s mission is to help moms remember that you are not alone in your journey. She has so many practical tips and has really helped me better understand my strong-willed child, and how to prioritize my relationship with my kids over everything - including my need for control and obedience. This is a must-listen for parents who are seeking wisdom and guidance. Grateful for you, Danielle! Sincerely, Emily @ Moms Overcoming Overwhelm Podcast

Relatable, just what I needed to hear
Danielle has the best guests and spot on wisdom. I'm a parent of a strong willed child and parent coach and she gets it. I have loved going back and listening to previous podcasts, I learn more from each one. So many of us fear we are failing motherhood, carry so much shame and it's our most important role so it matters the most. I appreciate the realness, the candor and the encouragement.

    REAL motherhood
Danielle has real life, down to earth, “your not alone” interviews and advice that leave viewers feeling accepted, loved, and NORMAL. In the world of social media highlights, Pinterest perfection, and instagram reels, Danielle brings it back to reality with real moms sharing real life. So often we compare ourselves to a standard that simply doesn’t exist. The pandemic of anxiety and depression for mothers is at an all time high. Knowing that we are in fact just like every other mother is relieving and refreshing. It takes a burden off that I didn’t even realize I had.

    We’re not failing
I love the refreshing take on this podcast. We always feel like we are failing but when you take a step back and have honest conversations with other moms you realize we’re all doing our best and society makes us feel like we are failing. This podcast puts it all out there to share honest conversations that make us realize we are not alone!!!

Great resource for moms in all stages
I started listening to failing motherhood when I was pregnant with my first and I thought it was really helpful to mentally prepare for motherhood. I’m excited that my generation has a community of women who are having conversations that are uncomfortable. It makes moms like me feel like I’m not alone in my struggles and in all my future struggles.
  • AmandaGorman
    Fantastic podcast for all moms!
This is exactly what I need to hear as a mom. Right. Now. Parenting during a pandemic is so friggin hard and I am constantly failing at motherhood. Danielle, thank you so much for reminding me week after week that I am not alone in my failings and that I am still a good mom! I am loving the stories that your guests are sharing! So brave and vulnerable 😍

    Wholeheartedly a very important podcast
I’m so glad to find this podcast! Danielle isn’t afraid of addressing the topics most moms don’t talk about. We all have this secret feeling of failure and yet, we are not! I’ve shared it with moms of younger kids because I wish I had it back when mine were even smaller.

What a breath of fresh air! It is not all about being the perfect parent. I love the vulnerability of the guests in each episode and how even if I don’t have the same situation, I still always find a valuable take away from the episode. I listen on my walks and it is like going on a “walk & talk” with a great friend. Subscribe to this one for sure!
