MegalottoAmazingI feel seen validated and soothed about my specific issues that I never understood about myself and others. Thanks for the emotional support. It was like a big warm hug and reassurance.
-
BerylHExcellent, varied contentGuests are consistently knowledgeable, often with lived experience as well as clinical/research expertise.

Lulu425657Great info-but back ground music needs to goReally enjoy this podcast, just started listening to the older episodes and often music is played softly while the speaker is talking. I would have hoped that a podcast about neurodivergence would have been more aware of how this is a challenge for people with auditory processing disorder! Makes episodes impossible to listen to.

10sawesomeSuch a helpful podcast!!I have listened to this podcast for three years now and it has helped me immensely with both of my 2E kids. Such insightful information and I just feel like some of the information from the guests and from Emily Kircher-Morris is so helpful to me as a parent. Thank you so much for all you do!
-
vivasoberAlways relevant!Thank you for this insightful, well developed and clearly informative podcast!! As a teacher, I listen weekly and apply what I learn!!!

Pd11otEssential listening neurodivergent individuals and their carersAs a neurodivergent mom and OT with two neurodivergent kids, I have found this podcast immensely helpful in understanding where my kids are coming from and getting some ideas about how to support them and myself. Emily has experts from amazing, useful and current areas of study. She asks great questions, and breaks it all down into manageable bits that are easy to understand. And one of the things I appreciate the most, is how she brings a strenths-based perspective which validates, encourages, and normalizes those who struggle with these issues. I always feel hopeful at the end of each podcast and I keep coming back for more.

kinghongkongThank you!My first time listening and I want to say thank you. Brilliant, informative, and honest. As someone who is late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD, I’m grateful for this new wave of understanding and sharing.
-
LilmommmaLife saving informationI have recently faced a 2E diagnosis for my children. I was desperately trying to understand. I started at podcast #1 and I am so much better prepared to support my kids and I understand myself better and know what questions to ask and how the information all fits together. I am so grateful to Emily and her husband for such a well done, thoughtful, thorough dive into all things 2E. Thank you.

doctorTND5 Star Review - Dr. TayAs a licensed child psychologist that works with autistic children and their families, I have found this podcast extremely valuable for the insights it provides. This podcast is a great resource for families as it is centered around the strengths of neurodiversity.
-
JKall37Wealth of informationAs a mother trying to understand all the facets pf what makes my child ‘tick’ and understand his experience and how to help, I have greatly appreciated the variety of topics and experience of the guests presented here! Great listen.
-
SLCPilotSo helpful!I am a school counselor and this podcast has given me so much information and insight. Every episode is a “must listen” for me.
-
rosie.eats.bxNew Favorite!I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for more behavior analysis content, as I’m a BCBA, and I fell IN LOVE! I love learning how to be more neurodiverse affirming for my clients. Thank you so much for this!
-
aaronb0124Golden nuggets in every episode! This podcast has been an invaluable find for me, both as a Learning Specialist (I teach multi sensory math to 5th and 6th grade students with learning and attention differences) and as the mother of two twice-exceptional boys. It can be easy to feel “alone” in teaching and advocating for students/children who are considered neuro-atypical, and this podcast reminds me of the many caring, wise professionals in this field. I find valuable nuggets in every episode.
-
Robby342517Great!Such a great series to help understand your kids better. And yourself! Emily features her guests so well
-
bomby_5Look forward to every episode !As the mother of two 2e kids I find every episode a relief! I learn so much and also feel supported. Thank you !!!

294sjf345Game changerOur young daughter is neurodivergent and we are looking at the path ahead for her while also being present in both tough and joyous moments. This podcast has helped me remember to show love unconditionally, and to have courage, hope, optimism, and joy in being there for our daughter- and she is thriving because of it. It’s so easy to get bogged down with therapies and “deficits”. I so appreciate this podcast for helping me see that this is an identity that we as a family get to explore, embrace and uphold. I’ve learned so much in the few episodes I’ve listened to and so appreciate the awesome host and guests for sharing this information and community. Awesome. I am sharing this podcast with everyone.
-
Jill_RchardsFabulous!!As a parent who has just learned what autism/neurodiversity truly is and is awaiting an autism diagnosis for my 11 year old son, I have been thrilled to find this podcast. I’m reading Emily’s latest book now and scouting everything I can get my hands on. I would love resources as to how to educate myself to educate others (teachers/schools/school boards.) I’m doing everything I can to find those.

Dr. Sarah HenningFABULOUS!!!I’m a psychologist in private practice with a neurodivergent teen. This podcast is so cutting edge and helpful! I’ve been sharing it with friends and patients constantly! Thank you!!! ❤️
-
PacMan0127Outstanding And Much NeededThis podcast has done amazing work in shifting the perspective to focus on the gifts of neurodiversity rather than overly focus on the negatives of neurodiveristy. I really love how Emily is so empathetic and understanding towards neurodiverse people. It’s helped me so much as an autistic 😄
-
ColbyFullerSuicide, part threeI just listened to this podcast without realizing what the subject was going to be. My late husband, who was definitely a “2 E” person, but never identified, committed suicide in 2001, leaving me with two children. It is a wake up call for me to be more aware of these issues with my own children. I am grateful for the intelligent and sensitive way that Emily presents her information regarding these extraordinary people with their gifts, talents, abilities….and problems. Her field is an emerging area of intense study and she has become an expert in this area. I appreciate hearing what she and her guests have to say, especially about these very crucial and sensitive issues.
-
peoordiLove this podcast!!This was the first podcast I started listening to right after my son was diagnosed. We had no idea where to turn but we were desperate for information. This podcast touches on every subject. I’ll even go back and listen to my favorite episodes again and again. It’s Also so easy to forward them to my husband. Thank you!! 💛

Humanitarian for LifeLove the podcast not the interrupting musicI love this podcast. The info shared is so insightful and helpful. However, it drives me nuts to the point of sometimes turning off the episode when random music begins playing for dramatic effect. I would much rather hear and focus on what the interviewee is saying, rather than be completely distracted and annoyed by the music that pops up when they are speaking. Music at the beginning and end is totally appropriate, but short bouts of music that pops up while people are talking is distracting.
-
Delci LAmazingOutstanding. I can’t stop listening. So happy to have stumbled upon this. Thank you!!
-
gadMMGame ChangerThis podcast is amazing. Not only has it given me a better understanding of my children and how to be a better parent, but it has also given me a better insight into my own experience.
-
Kick the TransplantConcentrated on twice exceptional kidsI have listened to 6 of these podcasts. They probably have good info for parents of twice exceptional kids but so far I have found nothing applicable to my extremely bright, extremely quick kid. All my siblings and myself were also designated gifted and I would recognize applicable subject matter. There just wasn’t any. I am very disappointed but not surprised. Most of the presentations I have heard on gifted kids concentrate on the twice exceptional and otherwise troubled learners. There is very little out there that deals with the quick bright kids who are well adjusted.
-
regrebryF newOThis is awesomeI really like how they/you give good details. When ever I’m mad or upset I just come to my phone and listen to a video. I have ADHD and all the videos help with it! Thanks!!!😀

WWW. thisgamesucks.comHi this is Landen II has subscribed and this is a great podcast with good music and audio quality and great teaching things
-
seattle2eBackground musicThe topics and info are fantastic, however the background music is often jarring and distracting, and deployed when someone is talking making it difficult to focus on their speech. Given that many of your listeners have processing difficulties and attention issues, I wish you would consider reducing the volume or eliminating the music altogether.

NoodlediniAmazing resource for parents of gifted and 2e children’I have never felt so understood and “normal” until hearing this podcast. The topics continue to help me in my journey with my 5th grade and Kindergarten boys, both gifted. Thank you for all you’re doing to help children and families of gifted kids.
-
Diddy'sGirlAmazing research based informationGreat resources on supporting gifted individuals and their families. Thank you!

Steele ImagingWonderfulYou just can’t find better information and thoughts for parenting and raising kids. This podcast is an absolute must for anybody with children.

The Loch Nessa MonsterDevon MacEachron EpisodeDevon MacEachron reasoning for discrediting theories altogether and labeling them as “myth” is based entirely on her stating that there isn’t clear, scientific research solidifying those theories. Lack of research does not mean that a theory is a myth... it means exactly that. That there simply hasn’t been enough research to support those particular ideas. This is a dangerous and misleading episode, discrediting ideas that have not been disproven. Please refrain from misleading content that implies something is inaccurate when it simply hasn’t been proven. Or, provide evidence that supports the claim that it is, in fact, myth with data supporting as such. Thanks.

MelflyparGreat informationI am a podcast junkie teacher. They fill my 1 hour commute each way. As a GT teacher it is hard to find content that is specific to my overall needs. This podcast has been very helpful. I have recommended it to friends and students’ parents.
-
Dg2b15Something I can finally relate to!As a former moderately gifted child and mother of a preschooler that I suspect is gifted, I find this podcast fascinating. Looking back on my own childhood and school years, I can relate to most of the topics and it puts many of the challenges I faced in a new perspective for me. I’m hoping what I’m learning will help me be able to support and advocate my daughter if she faces these same challenges that I did.

Danielle572Instantly HookedThis podcast was recommended to me by the TAG specialist at my school. I instantly fell in love with this podcast and binge-listened (is that a thing?) to the entire library of episodes. I love the various topics that are covered in this podcast and learning from lots of experts on a topic. I am working on my TAG endorsement myself so this podcast has been extremely beneficial for furthering my knowledge of gifted learning. Of lesser importance, Emily’s voice is like honey to listen to - can she narrate my life? I also really enjoy the music integration at the end of every episode. This podcast is really well done and I’m eagerly awaiting the next episode!
-
Stapled to CheetahsGifted Parents NEED This!I am so grateful to find this podcast! Quick bites that I can listen to while working that help me understand my gifted homeschoolers so much better!
