Great show

I’ve Pavlov’d myself into only being able to fall asleep to these 2 weirdos voices.

This show is one of the best podcasts out there If you have a sense of humor and enjoy true crime give any episode a listen

I just began listening to this and I started from the beginning! I am only on Episode 104. I am obsessed I have never laughed out loud, by myself so hard!!! I listen on the bus on my headphones and other passengers stare because I fight giggles all of the time. Nothing gets me in a good mood like Jimmie’s Andrew Jackson comments or when James says something that makes Jimmie almost have a stroke!!! Please keep this up forever…I need it everyday!!! PS It made put a title, but so far…5 stars for all of them!!!

I started listening to STM 8/2022. I’m not gonna say that this Podcast and these two host saved my life. But they have definitely changed my life for the better between their three podcast and their Patreon, (which is the best five dollars you’ll ever spend). I wake up to the episodes, go about my day listening to them, and fall asleep and take naps to it. I rewind and replay also as I’ve caught up on all the episodes by listening 1.5x speed. The way they research and go back later to do catch ups on murders and athletes (and now businesses) is so engrossing! Whenever some is vexxing me I’m able to calm down by pressing play on James and Jimmie. Thanks guys!

I cannot get enough of these. They are easy to listen to, while other murder podcasts get a bit spooky. I listen at work, on car rides, working out, and I’m laughing every time. James’ voice sounds like premium leather, whatever that means. Love their other podcasts too.

The absolute best podcast available. I listen to this every moment I can: working out, cleaning, gardening, driving, etc. Could not recommend with more enthusiasm.

The amount of work these guys put into their shows is unparalleled. If I ever win the lottery, I’d like to pay for their healthcare. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Can’t get any house work done without putting these guys on! Love it!

This has become my go to podcast. I wake up and get ready for the day with James and Jimmie. I cook with them. I take extra long after work walks on the beach with them. I’ve even introduced them to my husband. He’s not a podcast guy, but he listens and laughs along to STM and YSO whenever I have them on.

Super well researched, hilarious, tons of content, stories I’d never heard before. Patreon is even better, and other shows are great, too (Crime in Sports and Your Stupid Opinions). If I could give 6 stars… I would. Memmmooorrriiieeessssss

This show got me into Podcasts, and after years, it still remains one of my favorites. Listen, rate and then donate. They more than deserve it. FYI necessary does have a (C) in it. James I know you said you have a problem with the word but I wanted to clarify. Sid question, why aren’t you guys showing up on Wondery anymore? I don’t live in the US anymore so idk if that impacts my ability to access you guys on Wondery (which is the sole reason I subscribe.)

My sister told me about STM about a year ago and I have listened almost everyday since. I started at the very beginning and I’m up to 2019. 🤣 I refuse to listen out of order (call me OCD). I spend a lot of time in my car either driving to see family (I’m in central Florida and everyone else is in Alabama and Georgia). I also drive for DoorDash and UberEats. I listen any time I’m driving. I love it! It seriously feels like James and Jimmie are right there in the car with me. I laugh out loud all the time which probably is concerning to the drivers around me. 🤪 If I don’t listen for a day or two, I seriously start to miss the show! That’s how you know that yall have great on-air chemistry and an amazing show. I’ve told many others about STM and can’t wait until I can see you guys in person! Thanks for keeping me company on my road trips!

What’s not to love about these guys

Easily my favorite true crime podcast. The guys are great and I love the inclusion of town history and extensive background before diving into the story

I mainly listen through Spotify, but I couldn’t give a full review. This is one of my top go to for podcasts. Love the comedy. James and Jimmie are great and do a great job feeding off each others jokes. If you like dark humor and true crime, definitely subscribe.

The balance between humor and respect for the victims is really admirable. Keep up the great work; you guys blow my mind.

How am I just now finding this podcast? These guys are fantastic! The episodes are very thoroughly researched and they are great storytellers. They do a good job of balancing sympathy for the victims with roasting the criminals. This is my new favorite pod.

It’s true I do love Italian sandwiches!! But besides that I’ve been listening to them since the beginning! My man got me into it after he loved crime in sports

My only problem is not finding them soon enough. I enjoy all 3 of their pods, I’m currently all caught up on YSO. Thanks guys!

They are very funny. Their show has evolved a lot over the years. They try hard to be respectful of the victims and family. They no longer have overly gratuitous “violence porn” type descriptions of the crimes. I appreciate their growth. Overall great show. It’s exhaustively researched. They are very funny guys and consistently deliver a hugely entertaining comedic exchange. They’re also both deeply decent men. They respect women and minorities.

You won’t regret it, and you will be hooked. I don’t remember how I found it but I’m never going back to a life without the Small Town Murder podcast. They also have a podcast called Crime in Sports and a Patreon. I’m not sure when or if they sleep because they continuously put out a ton of quality content.

I love this podcast. I listen to crime sports and their your stupid opinions. It is entertaining and informative. I really like these two gentlemen they make me laugh.

You guys always have me cracking up and I just started listening from the beginning…you found a murder in my hometown I hadn’t even heard of LaPorte, Indiana. I wanted to submit the story of Belle Gunness for your show…do your do repeat towns it’s a wild story

Why is it that almost 95% of the murders happened in October?! My birthday is in October but now I’m scared of October and my birthday is ruined!

Not only do they do a great job discussing the murders and the story, but they are absolutely hilarious and they make my day brighter every day! 😜👍👍
