    The whole story
I love this podcast because Nic & The Captain cover every true crime case extensively— no matter how many episodes it takes. It took me a little while to get used to the way they interact & tell about each case, but now I love this podcast!

    Where’s Nick and captain?
Nov 19 episode, who are these guys talking in the opening. That is not the captain and the colonel. Even through the episode they sound different. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THEM

Thank you for not becoming a political podcast like all of the rest have! I love true crime garage, have listened for years and will continue to support!

    Big Love & a 1 Star Penalty
This is one of my favorite podcasts. It’s actually fun. Love the intros and outros the Captain composes. However, over the past year (2019/2020) the commercial time has gotten humongous. Three straight minutes a pop... so I’ve deducted one star. Seems they are adding one full minute of ads per break every season. Where will this end? Also The Captain seems to have gotten on an autotune bender — which hurts my ears. 2024. West Memphis 3, there’s an episode with a full THREE AND A HALF MINUTES OF ADVERTISEMENTS. Ouch. I’m dumbfounded by the WM3 episodes — lost on the order of things. Example, There’s 2 Part 2 of 2s. Are they redundant? Old or new? I’m lost. 2024, man, the ads are getting crazy. E767 I hit Fwd 12 times to by pass ads at 30-seconds a pop. That’s SIX minutes of ads because I can’t pay for a subscription. Whew! EPISODE 801, SIX MINUTES COMMERCIAL BREAK?!

BEST TRUE CRIME PODCAST OF ALL!!!
True Crime Garage is the best true crime podcast out there. Nic and The Captain do very thorough research and bring the crime to life so you hear everything that happened. They talk about the victims with such respect and compassion. The Captain is awesome at describing the suspect saying what we are all thinking. I have listened to every single episode and look daily for new content. They have become family. Love you guys!!! Subscribe and listen. If you thought you knew all about a case, I think you will learn something new. BEST TRUE CRIME PODCAST! ❤️🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤❤️

    Always intelligent, sensitive, and entertaining!
As expected, your continued and most recent comprehensive coverage of the Delphi case is stellar! I am a listener from the start and read Nic’s book as soon as it came out, so I know what this case means to both of you. Thank you for being such informed and reasonable voices throughout this tragedy. Cheers!

    My brother Nic
Nic Edwards is my brother not anymore. He’s a homophobic slur slinging piece of garage of a person. I can only wish the worst for you. I’m also pat’s brother also not a very nice person. Now all these negative self serving people are out of my life and my families lives, We as in my family can live a less drama hate filled lives. Now you’ve shown your true character. How do measure success? I live in a home not a house. My children will never be around you or your wives family. Including your wife’s ex-husband, how is he?

    Double Thumbs Up
Five stars coming at you from...you guessed it, Parts Unknown. Gotta hate the haters as you guys are the best. Love the deep dives, the conjecture, and of course, The Captains interjections and rants. Cheers with the Beers. Jessica

    Dominque Dunne
John Thomas Sweeney is a liar and he basically got away with murder. This case infuriates me. What a terrible miscarriage of justice that he did not serve life in prison. White male privilege on parade. Ugh.

    Episodes 795 and 796
First off absolutely love you guys and all the work you put into these cases. Also have a ton of respect for all the research and efforts of Dr. Hewitt but I think he’s reaching with his “person of interest”. Again you guys are freaking awesome listen to every episode every week!!! O-H

    Delphi case
True Crime Garage has always been one of my favorite crime podcasts. Both hosts speak intelligently and respectfully of the victims. Thorough and informative.

    True Crime Garage
My favorite podcast! Nic and the captain do a great job together of presenting the facts and also very insightful speculation in the world a true crime. Five out of five bottle caps! CHEERS
  • CFHayback
    Good show, but…
The captain constantly shows what a hayseed he really is. Plus, he’s a closeted MAGA. Thinking man? No. Fool. Sucker. Still thinks Adnan *may* have done it. Uses, “I’m just asking questions.” years after that has proven to be a Q dog whistle.
  • CourtKJ4
    The best!
Truly one of the best and most thorough true crime podcasts out there. They delve into so many different cases and provide a wealth of detail and knowledge. It takes a bit to get used to their pace and light banter, but I promise it’s worth it because you can’t really find a better duo. Appreciate this podcast so much. It’s the only one I make a priority to listen to every single week.

    Had to unfollow
Been there sense the beginning but the show just lags now. Energy. Pacing. Ads. Maybe it’s not the story telling. Maybe I’m just old. But listened to one Israel Keyes episode and realized something crazy about the show. They have no idea what they are talking about. Thinking back on it…they never did. My bad. Also they are apparently tied to LaDonna Humphrey.

Love listening to you both! I’m a long time watcher of That Chapter on YouTube. I am enjoying this new podcast with the two of you! Keep up the great work! Much love from the (50🌲).

    Unsolved
Used to be a good show. Last 25 episodes are mainly unsolved murders or missing persons. Some are 2 parts so figure 2 hours of talking about an unsolved case from 25 yrs ago. Sorry captain but not interested.

    When the Intrusive Thoughts Win
I love Nic’s approach to telling the stories of the victims. . The Captain’s music is amazing. And I love when the Captain will sing a couple of words of a songs in response to something Nic says. It’s relatable. Much appreciated yall!
  • Andinelson
    My go-to podcast
Been listening for 3 or 4 years and I have trouble sticking with anything but this is my ride or die. I like the stories they choose, the amount of info they provide, and their interactions with each other. Keep rocking it you guys!

    Best of the best
I listen to *many* true crime podcasts, and I’ve been tuning into TCG since 2016. It’s the best. These guys do SO MUCH research. Nic should be a detective, he thinks like one and because they have law enforcement in the family, they’re often able to get an inside perspective. The Captain has come a long way since the early days, and sprinkles in humor with his own views of the case (which often vary from Nic’s). Keep it up guys!
  • lissa309
    Great coverage of lesser-known cases!
Thank you for your work and being so thorough! I use your pod in my research into potential victims of Israel Keyes and have found some interesting potentials i wouldn’t have otherwise (pastor Carol, Crystal Bradshaw, Boca Mall, and bc it reminds me of Lauren S… I will now deep dive Kyle F). Great work and down to earth guys who are actually doing good works, not just purporting to care about the people impacted by these crimes *ahem* like some others make a big show of for their own $ gain.
  • JannaB17
    The best out there
Nic and the Captain are the perfect hosts for a true crime podcast. TCG is insightful and riveting. The analysis is thorough and unbiased. Once you start listening you can’t stop. Thank you!!!

    Great Podcast, Doing Good
A thoroughly enjoyable, edifying podcast. The rapport between the hosts is fantastic. Many have said before, and I agree, that it really feels like you are in the garage, having a beer, and talking true crime with friends. They clearly do a great deal of research on each case, which often translates to learning a new detail about even cases Im already familiar with. What I truly appreciate about Nic and the Captain is their focus on and advocation for crime victims.

    TCG is the best
TCG is the best true crime podcast. I have 4-5 favorites. But the guys will always be my favorite. I have heard all 1200+ episodes of TCG and also their extra Patreon episodes. I feel safe with these men. I adore you both. ❤️❤️❤️
  • Kadie Sterb
Amazing podcast, great hosts, factual information!
I’m a long time listener of true crime but just came across TCG in the past year or so, and it quickly rose to the top of my “favorite” list. The hosts are incredible - interesting and lighthearted at times but all the while maintaining a very respectful tone of the victim’s stories. The podcast format is well laid-out and easy to follow along, with plenty of facts and none of the excess. Thanks, Nick and Captain for all you do!!!! Keep them coming!
  • nitrotitan2008
    Start using victims name
Stop saying “the girl”, “this girl”. Just say her name. Sounds so demeaning. Nick is a know it all.

    Good show
Hi, I’ve been listening to several different serial killer podcast now, and this is one of the best. I like NICK and the captain and I like the way they tell a story. They have a little bit of humor, but not too much. They stick to the facts and stick to the story. They don’t go off on tangents unlike another podcast, I could mention here, but won’t. Also, they they both have very good voices, which I think is an underrated quality to have when you are recording a podcast. Their voices are not raspy or squeaky, they are very pleasant to listen to. They do their research, and if they don’t know something, they admit it. all in all, a very good podcast!
  • POE1990
    I appreciate your thoughtful analysis
Thank you for providing excellent reporting and thoughtful and well reasoned analysis. Some humor too. I miss your reporting on the terribly sad Abigail and Liberty murders. When I listen to the Murder Sheet, I think of True Crime Garage.

Pretty good except one episode was rough
I think you guys are awesome and do a great job but I never thought of leaving a review until I heard the columbine episode. The captain sounded like he was drunk out of his mind and couldn’t retain a thought. If I could just rate one episode I would cause that was rough to listen to.

    Wow!
I have been listening forever and have even listened to all of your back episodes and love them all. I have never reviewed you! True crime lovers this podcast is factual, clear to the point, not a lot of wandering off topic and great to listen to. The music mixes are an added bonus. Worth a listen to! I love them!!!
  • Koralakers
    Very thorough and informative
Many other True Crime podcasts talk forever, ad nauseam, just to hear themselves talk. These guys give a complete view focusing on facts, and not just their opinions. Super down to earth guys. Easy to listen to. Almost calming.

    The best
This is my favorite true crime poddy. I like how they explore different sides of the story, reports etc, and add their 2 cents. Adds more depth to the stories they cover
  • Gunslinger Bee
Solid show - just one thing…
Love the show! The level of detail is fantastic. One thing - it’s super uncomfortable every time The Captain makes a joke and Nic just rolls by and ignores it. Please Nic, “yes and” your friend! Sure it’s Dad humor but it’s less groan inducing if you bounce off him a bit. Tall cans in the air for Dad humorists 🫶

By far my favorite podcast. They present the story and the facts and provide excellent details and insight. Couldn’t ask for more. I’ll be sad when I run out of episodes to run to or they decide to hang it up!

    Great show
This podcast is the one that got me hooked on listening to podcasts. Great podcast. Keep turning out your show please. Thank you for your hard work
  • Karen now Kitty
    I agree
I just heard Nicks rant about privacy. It was masterful. It’s why I love the garage. I’ve listened since episode 10. Silicon Valley has made billions of profits and spy on us. When we want info they cite privacy. Where’s my privacy when they track me using maps and search. I like the cut of that jib. Way to go.
  • R-WTG
The TC Show that got me started in true crime!
I have been listening for years and really enjoy the analytical way the boys discuss the cases. Love how I know something good is coming when the Crispy Colonel says, “Hey, listen,”. I know a truth bomb is coming!
