I listen to this podcasts 24/7 everyday I love crime and yall are very funny. I don’t have twitter but I just wanted to still say I love this

I wanted to like Crime Junkie, especially being from the Indy area, but from the start I was turned off by the strange back and forth between the main host and the woman who seems to only be there to hype the host up. It sounds like a vanity project, which could be forgiven if this wasn’t such and obvious - and very inferior- rip-off of My Favorite Murder. I get it - MFM is as awesome as it’s successful, but hearing a host prompt their dog to bark stopped me dead. REALLY??? MFM is honest, imperfect, and truly engaging because of the hosts and their interest in true crime, open willingness to grow over time, and support for victims and justice. I was not at all surprised when I heard of the major plagiarism scandal perpetrated by Crime Junkie, because it’s always been about stealing a fabulous structure pioneered by MFM with no acknowledgement or respect. If you like Crime Junkie, check out the actual original, female true crime podcast that continues to give everything it promises with proper accreditation and truly caring hosts!!

Love the pod. Hate the volume mixing. I’m legit hearing impaired and wear hearing aids—BUT even listening in my car or Apple air pods or on my Sonos system at home on Apple Podcasts is a major challenge. Ashley, love the intimate narrator voice but your sound mixing is way too low. Volume all the way up and literally can’t hear. Then the music and your ads come on and it’s like 100x louder. It’s 2025–time to address this and fix it. PLEASE

So I used to be a big fan of the show but not anymore. I can’t stand Brits voice or her commentary. I can’t stand her story telling. Sorry but I’m going back to my favorite podcast “My Favorite Murder”

I just found this podcast and I am loving it. Listening to this makes my days at work go by so fast. I can’t wait until I am all caught up on listening to y’all. I started at the beginning so it might take a little while lol. Keep up the good work y’all.

I love the work you do to support victims families and helping prevent others from gaveling to go through the things y’all talk about by raising awareness. I also just wanted to say after every episode of hearing the good I just feel a little better and I love all the cute pups on the web site.

Crime Junkie is my go-to true crime podcast. The storytelling is so good and always keeps me hooked. Ashley and Brit make every case easy to follow but still super intense. I could binge it all day—10/10 for sure 💜💜💜💜

For the people saying they’re tired of podcasters adding in their political views and that “no one cares.” Babe I care and I know plenty do. I’m so happy Ash and Brit speak out. They use their platform to do good and so happy to have made some genuine people successful.

I like how detailed and informative the show is. Lots of research goes into them. My only complaint is sometimes it sounds like you both are talking at 2x speed and it’s hard to follow.

This podcast has more ads than any other podcast I have listened to. And they constantly remind the listeners to sign up for Patreon for $20/mo to get more. So annoying. Pick one or the other.

Been a crime junkie for like 6 years it’s gone a little down hill but still good

Great information from the perspective of telling the story of the victims involved. Love all things true crime, tried several podcasts and couldn’t handle the hosts, love these two!

God honestly these people saying it’s too political are insane. There’s NOTHING wrong with holding poor police work accountable. It’s so insufferable that some people refuse to stand up to police corruption. Ash and Brit call it out while also applauding the police work that is done well in other cases. That’s how it should be. I’ve been listening for years and every few months some MAGA influencer always goes after this show and then they get a ton of negative reviews from people who have never listened to a single episode.

I am so happy that CJ has all free episodes on podcast streaming services. So many pods are making their episodes subscriber only. I appreciate that CJ produces free episodes (w/ ads) and also a platform to financially support them and listen to exclusive episodes.

Not the greatest true crime podcast, but I like it.

Omg I’m so tired of hearing crime podcasters insert their political views. No one cares! NO. ONE. CARES. For everyone’s sanity just don’t even mention it. Do everyone a solid and stick to the facts and stay in your lane. Please and thanks 🙄

Been listen for years now, I think I’ve listened to every episode at least twice now… please never stop

I've been listening to Crime Junkie since 2018. I’ve bought Ashley Flowers’ books, attended a live show, and supported the podcast for years. But lately, something has changed… and not for the better. The episodes feel rushed, repetitive, and increasingly commercialized. It’s starting to feel more like a cash grab than the passion-driven storytelling that drew me in years ago. There used to be a spark. A real connection and care in the way stories were told. That’s missing now. But instead, it feels like the focus is on pushing merch, sponsors, and paid content. As a loyal fan, it’s honestly disappointing to see what this show has become. I’m giving this one star not out of malice, but out of deep disappointment. I hope they can find their way back to what made the podcast great in the first place.

I was surprised to read that “ this show has changed “ or “ isn’t good anymore “ I can’t understand how deep people dig for traces of something offensive. The only thing I’ve noticed is the hosts are more confident which I love . Two intelligent women. Keep on doing what you do.

I watch a lot of crime shows and wanted something to listen to while driving and started listening to you guys and now I’m hooked

I have listened to Crime Junkie for a while and just picked and choose which ones to listen to. Recently decided to go back to the beginning and listen to all of them and it’s just so good. Quick and easy stories about crimes I’ve heard about and ones I never have. Unfortunately they haven’t run out of content but still a great distraction!

I’ve been listening to crime junkies for a while now! It’s such an amazing podcast with detailed (but not too detailed) information. It is also well put together and you can tell that they studied it!

I cannot believe the things I’m learning from this podcast. Talk about corruption. This murder was awful enough on its own. The corruption that surrounds it is mind blowing.

I’ve always loved this podcast with Ashley and Brit. They advocate for victims and their families. So i’m very confused that they partnered with Brandi Churchwell to cover the Karen Read trial. I know this is a polarizing case and everyone is entitled to their opinion. But partnering with someone close to turtleboy who is accused of witness intimidation and who has harassed the O’keefe family on their way to court? Brandi Churchwell has been vile to the prosecutor or even the judge for the sole reason that they are doing their job. She does not match the professionalism and respect that are values all the other audiochuck hosts display.

I have no idea how this show has such high ratings when it’s literally the dumbest true crime podcast there is. These two make me want to jab pencils into my ear drums.

Great podcast. I’ve been a listener from the beginning. But either curse and remove the bleeps or stop cursing. The evolution of your comfort with cursing feels contrived. Overall, good narration.

i’ve seen a LOT of reviews saying how this show “used to be good” and now it’s “too liberal” and “too woke”, but not a single one of those negative reviews EVER seem to take into consideration that, just like they’re stating their opinion, maybe the hosts have the same right to do the same thing. aside from all that, this show is genuinely good!!! my mom showed it to me around 2020, and i got obsessed! since then, i’ve explored the Audiochuck podcasts, and all i have to say is that this company is amazing. love this show, keep going!! (PS - Brit, you’re not ruining the show, people saying that are just mean, don’t pay attention to what they say!)

Agreed with too much politics. We listen to this because we want to hear about the cases, not political talk. We’d listen to the news if we wanted politics. Otherwise, I enjoy it

I’ve been listening for years and enjoy Ashley and Britt together. Well researched, always victim focused and respectful. They go the extra mile to get the whole story and try to help find closure in cases that still aren’t solved.

Like it but sometimes they can talk too much and laugh about people getting killed.

Honestly I’ve listened to this podcast SINCE THE BEGINNING and today I was catching up (because I’m a working MOM) and to hear you say WHO CARES about changing the name for Mother’s Day is wild, keep your left wing comments to yourself and tell the story. I’m done.

Used to love this podcast then it just became all about the hosts and not the victims. They interject their own views and make it political instead of focusing on the persons story. How disrespectful!!!! MWMH is SO much better they actually care about the victims and tell the story instead of their own views

I enjoy the show. But please stop shoving your political beliefs down our throats. I don’t wasn’t to hear either side…right or left. If politics directly pertain to a case then great. But we’re listening for an informed discussion about a case. Which you do well! No one really needs to hear your views on the current or past administration.

Crime Junkie is a great podcast! Ashley and Brit tell stories in an intriguing way, but always rooted in compassion for the people. I also love that AudioChuck does so much good with Season of Justice, specific charities related to cases, pruppets, etc.

Used to love this podcast and couldn’t wait for the next drop. Every story is now so overly woke in every facet. Reel it back. I barely listen to it anymore unfortunately.

Used to be good but by this point my eyes will get stuck mid-roll from all the times they say the word like and the comments on everything. Dial it back and wayy left-leaning too. Edit: Its not ashley, its brit. Brit you are ruining this podcast!

I am not sure why the second host is always laughing and giggling, especially during Lacy Peterson episodes. It is a constant giggle to some quite somber comments of the first host- I am not sure whether it is nervous reaction or there is something that funny about details of the case. Made me feel very strange.
