    Scott’s awful, man
The notion Scott could get legit annoyed at the plumber character sighing while he himself is the worst part of every episode due to his stupid puns, singing, idiotic questions based on pretending to misunderstand people’s words by using them in a different context, eating on air, and more, is the height of hypocrisy. All of these stupid habits kill any momentum the show might generate. J Maz is spot on calling him the den mother of comedy. Or another metaphor,-Scott is the unpopular annoying high school kid who nonetheless has the party central house because his folks are always out of town.

    Best comedy show
The best episodes are with guests who are antagonistic towards Scott. Also, we regularly play Would You Rather with our kids. Love you guys.
  • DaltonWilcox
Host plays Would You Rather every week
It’s nice that Scott still explains the rules. Even though they’ve played WYR every week for the past 13 years.

    Sorry for your loss, Bing
Grateful for the discourse on Music Man. So sorry to hear about your late wife, Mr. Lujo. Spit my entire drink when I heard.

    Great eps
I only wish every episode had 10-12 minutes of sincere Music Man discussions

    Used to be…
It was funny consistently but then became too politically aware. The regular comedians stopped being funny. I hope they become funny again but they don’t take risks anymore.

    The only pod I need
This podcast has kept me sane and giggling my entire adult life. If you like silliness and joy, do yourself a favor and dive right in. No bad eps, but I recommend starting with a celeb you like and/or Lisa Gilroy, Paul F Tompkins, Vic Michaelis, Andy Daly… I could go on and on. Love you Scotty Aux n the gang ♥️

    Many Hamburgers To Scott!
This is truly humanity’s podcast. Been a listener since the Comedy Death Ray Radio days, and listened to every episode since.

    True comedy
Come for the comedy stay for the in-depth discussion of the last 10 minutes of “The Music Man” it doesn’t get better than this.

    Too much comedy
I came to this podcast looking for drama but it’s all comedy. I laughed the whole time, didn’t even cry once. Maybe change the name for clarity? Also there were too many interesting people. I prefer boring, made up characters. Five stars.

I love you hot saucerman, but we can all admit the show peaked about a decade ago.

    I'm jealous of Seattle
The live episode with Lauren, Paul, Will Hines and Lisa Gilroy is one of the best episodes of this show of all time. Lisa is up there with Ego for me as one of my favorites, and I have long since waxed poetic in these reviews about Will Hines being the best dork character since David Cross. P-pigs stand up. Scotty Aux, we salute you.

    Not enough plugs…
I’ve been a longtime fan, longer than anyone, ever. I’m probably the best at listening too… I Love CBB! LOVE!!! I like to sit outside CBB’s window at night, just to make sure it’s safe of course. Nothing weird or perverse. The restraining order was completely unnecessary Bang Bang, you just don’t understand. Nobody can love you more than me. Needs more plugs tho.

    My favorite thing
I’ve listened to every episode, and the Farts and Procreation episodes a dozen times each. I’ll listen forever. Phenomenal. It evolved over time, and every year I love the new people who come in with brilliant characters, as well as the old classics. Not just my favorite podcast, it’s my favorite thing in all of entertainment.

    No longer enjoyable
I’ve been listening to this show for about 10 years. It’s declined to the point where every week I ask myself why I bothered listening to the latest episode. Maybe it’s me, maybe I don’t understand the humor anymore. But I’ve been giving this show the benefit of the doubt for months now and I’d say every one in 10-15 episodes is worth the time.

    Woof
This is a TOUGH listen. Downloaded a few episodes of actors/celebrities I enjoy, and jumped in. Couldn’t get through 10 minutes of the Andy Samburg episode. Tried two others and same result. I’m pretty open-minded with comedy podcasts and enjoy some that go over-the-top or are edge, but this one was brutal to listen to.

    Scratches a certain comedy itch
I cannot remember how I discovered this podcast, but It delights me no end… admittedly I start by searching around for people I’m a fan of, but that is how I discover unfamiliar names and become a fan of them too! I’m finally taking time to write a review because I just listened to a re-release of a Samberg / Lapkus ep and I was dying over the multiple attempts at singing Hollywood Facts from memory. This podcast just makes me happy 🙂

So many plugs - so little time
If only the whole show were plugs. Opening and closing the plug bag is my favorite part of going through puberty. Scott, I love you. Please give me those sweet sweet plugs, bubba.

    Rather Good
Overall I find this podcast rather good

    Bummer
I have been a consistent listener since 2016, coming over from the Magic Tavern podcast. Scott has always been such a good host and genuinely very funny. This latest episode, however, really soured this podcast. “Reproductive rights” aka abortion advocacy is where I draw the line. Comedy is great because it artfully engages difficult topics, social norms, pop culture in a way that makes us all take ourselves a little less seriously. This episode didn’t do that - it was just vulgar. The murder of children is a serious moral tragedy. There must be a line somewhere and this is where I and I know many people other people draw it.

    Long Live CBB!!
I forget how many years I’ve been listening to this podcast and it has always just turned my frown upside down. I owe Hot Saucermab a debt of gratitude for bringing so much joy to my life on a weekly basis.

    Uneven
This is often a fun pod, with the exception of when Scott bogs it down, dragging funny people down to his level with his “Scott Plays Dumb” character. These are the episodes I really dislike. Otherwise I love me some CBB, especially when it’s got all stars like Andy Daly, Paul F Tompkins, Jason Mantzoukas, Jon Gabrus, Lily Sullivan, or Bennie Schwa on. This would be 5 stars if it weren’t for Scott

    Ya gotta laugh
CBB is the best podcast out there! I listen to it as a treat to myself when I have to do awful chores. Thanks to Scott and the Scrooge Gang, my house is spotless and I’m laughing so hard I’m crying while scrubbing toilets.
  • Every nickname is already take
    Funny guests, terrible host
Scott makes the show almost unlistenable but the guests make up for his lack of talent or humor.

I love CBB and will continue to listen regardless, but we need more Gil. He is A-block material.

    Always insane. Always funny.
So much of my mental and emotional effort is spent in anticipation of the next episode. Thank you for existing. PS Where’s the hentai at?

    It’d be great but…
The editing of this show has a just bad. It used to be good but now the show skips around so much that it’s disorienting. It will jump back two minutes or skip forward multiple times per show and you just have to figure out what the heck is going on. Funny guests and Scott is pretty good but it’s almost become unlistenable.

    Many Graphic Sexual References
In many episodes a man, and woman talk about his penis. Sometimes you put a guest person name on Google and write topless next to it you get reward.

Makes all other podcasts less funny :P
Seriously, the guests on this podcast are unbelievable. The host Scott Aukerman is a beast at directing the madness and playing along. Sometimes if you avoid looking at the guests you will be surprised to find out it's someone you know because they do such a great job in character. The show is easy to get into for the new listener as well. You must try this one out if you haven't already!!!

    Unpredictable
Sometimes it feels like the funniest podcast ever made, sometimes it’s nightmarishly unlistenable (I’m looking at you January 1st 2023). I guess that averages to a perfect 5/5 stars?

    Special Guests
I love how they have a picture of the real Andrew Lloyd Webber in the description. He’s one of the best guests.
