As someone who listens to more podcast and audiobooks than music, I thoroughly enjoy this one. It’s fun, it’s helpful, and best of all, these two gents goof off just enough to keep me entertained while not wasting my time. As a bonus, both seem like genuine nice dudes, so I don’t feel like some pretend marketing guru is trying to upsell me something. Keep it up. ARCurry

This podcast is helpful on so many levels of game design. Their insight drips with the experience of indie game designers with real experience. They explain the best uses for their Mfg. Capabilities. They are entertaining by they keeping it lighthearted with enjoyable dialogue.

I started listening to The Game Crafter Official podcast a few weeks back and all I can say is bravo! It's a magnificent podcast jam packed with helpful game design topics and extremely brilliant ideas that are guaranteed to take board game design to a modern day extreme! They have an amazing website that will help you produce your game as though it were professionally published while trying their hardest to remain cheaper and faster than anywhere else guaranteed. They are print-on-demand and will surprisingly print one off copies to fulfill your needs. You can't tell me that's not super cool. On top of the website, this podcast was created as proof in the pudding they care about your goals as a game designer. JT and Jeff are amazing guys that break down everything and anything having to do with board game development period! From streamlining ideas to writing rules to running sales campaigns and everything in between, this podcast is your one stop shop. Be warned though; you will find yourself hooked from episode one. This podcast has absolutely blasted me through the past 3 weeks and my only complaint is I wish there were more. I am absolutely going to continue on with this podcast and I'm looking forward to every future episode. Keep up the good work guys and thank you for your dedication and knowledgeable input that seems to be reigniting my childhood dreams of designing and publishing a game. An absolutely amazing podcast!!!

Informative, insightful, and may cause one to want to quit their day job and design/publish games all day. An excellent resource for learning the art of game design, the gritty side of running a business, and the resources available inside and outside of the Game Crafter. If you've ever had an itch to design a game, or ever found yourself browsing the board game section of a store, and thought to yourself that you could design a game, then this is the podcast to help take that dream and make it a reality. One word of caution, once you start listening you may find yourself spending long hours, staying up late, and designing the next big game.

Let's face it: 'crafting' tabletop games is NOT easy. Fortunately, Jeff and JT are here with this Podcast to guide you toward getting your game out to the masses. I wasn't sure quite what to expect when I started listening - after all, it's a Podcast for a print-on-demand company. This Podcast very easily could have been chock full of promotion or hype or criticism of the long-run print houses. This Podcast is NONE of those things! Jeff and JT are INCREDIBLY straightforward and open and honest. They welcome (and actually ENCOURAGE!) listener questions and their answers are quite valuable. This Podcast definitely puts Game Design first and business promotion second (or more like 50th!). I have learned an AMAZING amount of info on the industry from this Podcast. JT is great at breaking down the technical complexities to make them understandable to the masses. He also has some great insight from the game design perspective, too. Jeff provides a wonderful 'gaming industry' perspective as a designer and reviewer and consultant. If you are serious about letting your game see the light of day then this Podcast is for you. No fluff. No hype. No theory or speculation or commentary. Just plain 'ole VALUABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND ACTIONABLE info. Thanks guys! I REALLY appreciate it!!!

J.T. And Jeff do a great job with this show. They keep each show focused and insightful. Through this show I have learned so much about game design, prototyping, business, and even law. It's great hearing the reasoning behind the decisions made at the Game Crafter.

I just started listening (just binged 10 episodes!) and this is my favorite podcast. It's really helping me in my quest to create my own game. These guys provide great insight on the products and answer questions you might have. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to create a game but not sure where to start.

Being an indie board game designer, I've really appreciated the services that The Game Crafter provides for making prototypes. This podcast is a great addition to the wonderful TGC services with helpful information about what's going on and what's coming up. Definitely recommended!
