41brandoSouth sound business promotersOur Bni group lovers your podcast and personally I am very grateful for all the advice you give. I’ve worked very hard to not look for a referral from anybody or everybody. I’ve only been a member for 9 months but after listening to a bunch of your podcasts I’m one of the top referral givers on our group and I work hard at it. Thank you - Brandon Bussey, Brandon’s appliance repair

It’s my fault. Blame me.My “go to” for BNI vibesI’m approaching the 5th anniversary of my first BNI meeting. To be honest, it took a couple of years for me to get in the groove with the CEUs. After llsteneing to a about a dozen different BNI related podcasts, and TPOO is clearly the gold standard. I don’t agree with, make use of, or fully track with the thought process behind EVERY point Tim makes (that would be troublesome, wouldn’t it?), but the overwhelming majority of topics covered, activities suggested, and points made are ON POINT. Especially helpful is the fact that the episodes are short enough to listen to on a quick car ride to do some errands, which also helps with note taking, action planning, and conversion to weekly EduSegments (what we call them in our “best on Earth” Chapter). The effort that must go into maintaining the pace ot TPOO publication is genuinely appreciated, as is the 20+ years Tim has given to BNI which make his expertise possible. Probably about 300 episodes in to TPOO (gravitating much more to BNI material than “Business Matters”, this pod is permanently situated in my agenda every week. I plan on being in BNI until dirt day, so I hope TPOO podcast can hang around that long. It would be great to meet Tim at a conference sometime and compare notes!

EMacUSComCheck you audio settings!Guest’s audio is terrible!

JAY G AZWCCCrystal clearGreat podcast just like All the rest you share. More BNI members have to listen to our podcasts and continue to develop and grow, specially when it comes to business etiquette. Shopping for best price without thinking of members is what I have heard you say… furious about caring and givers gain mentality. Anyways. Great nuggets and information every BNI member should listen to. Thank you Tim

Roark2112New Member Learning QuicklyI just joined BNI and the Power of One lays the groundwork for good habits by analyzing weekly presentations, recommending how to network better, and optimize the training programs. Thank you very much!
-
Gamer1197695635So informative!Tim and I connected to review best practices, and even though I’m fairly experienced with both writing and presenting, he had such great suggestions to implement! I highly recommend a listen to this podcast.
-
darlingdriscollIt’s mostly beneficialThe intro song is too long. Tim sounds like he’s never met a true financial block in life that lead him to live off of spam and top ramen.
-
sirdingydangGreat stuffthe best podcast about BNI around, hands-down! If you want to fully understanding the value of BNI , how to be successful in BNI this is the podcast for you! Tim does a great job keeping it real, and providing great analysis and feedback for weekly presentations.

Doodle tooterHelpful Content for Ed CoordinatorsI appreciate having access to this podcast because it gives me great content ideas for education moments in my chapter plus it helps me to be a better BNI member.
-
SoCalBannonEducational MomentI have learned more from this podcast than from all of Doc Ivan’s podcasts combine. Highly recommend to anyone in BNI.
-
boscomarretiReally appreciate your BNI power of one podcast!Really appreciate your insights. Going back to episodes from 2022, your discussion on getting the chapter to go green was super helpful. It’s exactly what we are working on. Thank you

RodTheWrench15 years in BNI and this is a Game-ChangerI’ve been in every type of training that BNI has had since 2009. Both live, online, in our chapter or on a region level. I’ve listened to other podcasts and read every one of Dr. Misner’s books and I can confidently say that this particular podcast series “The Power of One” is the most effective use of my time and learning short of an in person in-depth group training. The style and the focus and the subject matter are extremely beneficial for anyone that wants to improve their BNI experience - whether a brand new member or a grizzled old veteran like me!
-
Pearl Jam DudeGreat PodcastThank you for a refreshing look at BNI !
-
EmilyAGrayGood contentGreat content. I love BNI and I am grateful for this info. Your excessive use of “um” is so distracting.

Famous ShellyShelly GardnerHi Tim! I listen to the power of one in the Louisville Kentucky area. I really enjoy it because it has a lot of practical advice. There are times when you make me laugh out loud with some of the things you say, as you are telling a story or sharing an example. I share a lot of your episodes with my chapter. I appreciate your hard work! Thanks a bunch.
-
JJ Hackler5 StarsThese podcast are not only great for being a better BNI team member, but they’re actually great life lessons. It’s reminiscent of the book ‘How to Win Friends & Influence People’. I feel motivated every time I listen to Tim. If you want to increase your skills at business, life, networking, (even for non-BNI members) this podcast is for you. Thank you Tim for helping improve my quality of life.
-
Cynthia BuschWorth Every MinuteValuable and fun training. As a newbie to BNI this podcast fills in the blanks. Well worth your time.
-
ny2caligirlLots to Learn!Even though I’ve been a BNI member for 4 yrs, I am learning so much from Tim’s podcast, especially how to craft effective weekly presentations. Thanks for the very clear aspects of what makes a great one.
-
GabstopSharing Gems and dropping 💣This podcast has helped shed so much light on various topics and subjects of BNI. Mahalo Tim for sharing your knowledge 💎 and droppin those 💣 topics.
-
Shirley M TowneGame changerThis podcast taught me how to do BNI. As a president of my chapter, I used these podcasts to elevate our chapter. We put a huge focus on the power of one. Podcast 248 taught me I can refer to any member consistently if I have an effective one to one with a member. Forever grateful.
-
chirospizzGREAT info!LOVE this podcast! I started listening just to up my game in BNI but it’s really upped my game in my business as a whole. Zero-nonsense, not just BNI rah-rah, but very practical wisdom for getting the most out of your membership and your business. Very thankful for this podcast!
-
DanielJ5Most informative, best informationThis is by far the best podcast for BNI. The information shared is based on real life events, experiences, and situations and provides great insight and ideas. Best of all, Tim gets what networking and BNI is all about and conveys that message.
-
GaryJBakerNJNew BNI memberI joined a BNI chapter about a month ago and this podcast was super helpful. I didn’t want to get repetitive with my presentation, and these episodes are great with not just how to structure and word my 30 seconds, but also good to stoke creativity from other people’s examples.
-
AvramGonzales.comAlways something useful and applicableThe thing I appreciate most about Tim Roberts and the Power of One Podcast is that it’s more than just theory. Every time I listen there’s something tangible that I can take back and apply directly to my referral marketing efforts. Time well spent, every time 👌
-
Angie CampsAlways walk away with a good tip!I’ve been a BNI member since 2005 and one of my personal core values is life long learning and I always pick up valuable tips and insights from this podcast, especially the commercial review and feedback episodes! Thank you!
-
Should Have Stayed FreeLearn More About Networking HereIf you are in BNI, you need to listen to this podcast. I joined BNI in June as part of a new chapter. I knew nothing about networking except that it needs to be done. Not wanting to miss anything, I started with Episode 1 (Running at 212 Degrees) and listened straight through to Episode 615 (Business Matters 92 - Planning Your Money). In the last five months I have learned more about networking, speaking about my profession, how to best leverage BNI, and the detailed nature of Disney than I thought possible. Most refreshing might be Tim’s honesty about the challenges of BNI and the misapplication that is far too common. His willingness to speak BNI’s weaknesses lends authority to his praise of BNI’s strengths. Power of One is not one long-running commercial for why everyone should be a member. Thank you for reviewing sales manager minutes. That has been most helpful.
-
NinjaJuddBest BNI podcastThis is by far the best BNI podcast. I love listening to this. I listen to this at least once a week. It really helps enhance my BNI membership.

SwitchbackcatFavorite BNI PodcastThis is my favorite BNI podcast! Would love to hear an episode on the differences, if any, when preparing a weekly presentation as a visitor to another chapter verses your own chapter.
-

-
would6832Trades in Bni!!I’m a guy that works on cars for a living, or at least I used to be!! Joined a Bni almost 2 years ago because I’m part of a consulting group for auto repair shops and a peer told me about Bni. It gave me a destination every week and has helped me become a business owner with 8 teammates Vs. the 3 I had when I started with Bni. This podcast is what I use for my ceu’s and inspiration for my weekly edutainment moment every week since I'm now the education coordinator for our chapter!! Keep up the great work!! We are listening and learning!!
-
SherriMadrigalGreat podcast!I’m part of a newly established chapter and these have really helped me understand the process and helped me with my feature presentation
-
LeeGochWithout a doubt, the best BNI podcast availableI love this podcast I love the variety of information offered, but I will say my favorite thing is when you go over our weekly presentations. 615 InsuranceFresh and funThank you for making BNI education fresh and fun!
-
WegmanaPowerfulThank you for what you do, I just listened to episode 598, and it was helpful. I do think to myself how/what can I do for my fellow BNI members, because my group is 40 min from where I live, and my normal clients for my Insurance business are in an area an hour away. But I try to think outside the box, tell myself to ask them more about what they are wanting/looking for, struggles they are experiencing in their job/career, and how I can help.
-
DLYONS222Great information and fun to listen tooReally enjoy listening to your show, thanks for not making it stuffy and boring. You cover great information that is applicable to my participation in BNI. Thanks!

Secure Cloud SolutionsThe show is helpfulIf you’re going to invest your time in BNI listen to these podcasts. There is a wealth of knowledge presented here. After being in BNI for six months and having good success it all makes more sense and I’m ever optimistic about my business success after listening to all the episodes from 2023.
