    Informative and entertaining
I love this podcast! My husband is from Colombia so I am always trying to learn and understand Colombia, especially from non political journalism. Great variety of interviews from different professions, regions, industries etc. this is really unique and the host presents his questions with an open heart. <3

    One of A kind
This show is informative & entertaining. I look forward to every Tuesday when a new episode is released. Richard is very knowledgeable about all things Colombia. He has the best English speaking guests in the country on his show as well. My only two complaints are that I wish he would find a better room to record in so there wouldn’t be a small echo from his end. My other complaint is that I wish the show was at least an hour longer. More similar to the length of the Joe Rogan Experience. Come to think of it Colombia Calling is the Colombian version of JRE. I enjoy every minute of every show. Thank you for entertaining the English speakers in Colombia!

    Excellent
We traveled throughout Colombia in 2019 for 3 months and became enchanted by the kind people, the food, the biodiversity and of course the vibra. Coming from the US, we knew so little about the beautiful country and are grateful for your podcast to keep us informed and educated. Viva Colombia!

    Disappointed
I’m from Colombia, living in the United States 5 years ago. I was looking for some good content from my country and was really sad to see that there not really much to listen in Apple Podcasts from Colombian influencers, coaches, etc... I really wanted to love this show but I think is absolutely boring, cold, the background noise sometimes is terrible that you can’t even hear the presenter... I hope you keep improving every day and talking about interesting and positive topics instead of just like news or negative situations happening in the country, the TV exists for that! The content in this type of vehicles should be more encouraging, again more positive so that you really feel engaged to listen often... thanks

Presenting Colombia’s better side & better people
Ever since I found Colombia Calling I have been a huge fan of the show. While Colombia is more frequently known as a difficult place when I hear the stories and the people from and about Colombia it makes me feel much better about my country. Thank you Richard!

Excellent resource to stay current on Colombia!
Richard brings interesting and varied people and stories to light in a friendly, conversational manner. He never sugarcoats the realities and challenges of Colombia today but underlying each episode is a love of the culture and hope for an even brighter future. Thank you!

Great way to learn about the ins and outs of Colombia
I love listening to Colombia Calling to stay up to date with its happenings even though I don’t live there anymore. I will say I only listen to the episodes involving politics/current events and skip the ones about people promoting travel businesses/goods. Those episodes are great if you are looking for travel resources, however!

    English language information about Colombia
I'm an American expat in Colombia. There isn't a lot of English language content with in-depth information about Colombia. So this podcast is most welcome. The topics vary dramatically. Some are more interesting to me than others. But that means there's good variety. Sometimes I get a little bored, compared to other podcasts I regularly listen to. (That's why four stars.) Nonetheless I believe the podcast provides accurate, high-quality information. Depending on the episode it could be useful for tourists (discovering opportunities like conflict-zone tourism), expats (tax reform, peace agreement), and people simply interested in Colombia.

If you're looking for information on Colombia - enough to get as good an understanding of possible without having been there - this is the place. Helped a great deal as we were evaluating travel plans and just great to listen to.
