thermosprotection1Hope!Thank you for the RJ episode. It helped me entertain the possibility that we are indeed still on the path to a brighter future.

Alphabetical-zSahil BloomIs Sahil Bloom so self congratulatory and sheltered that he equates “not taking the hardest classes at Stanford” to an alcoholic’s rock bottom?

Bekah RothenbergerSurprisingly SoberI’m a mom of two under two. I found this podcast through the Gisel Bunchen episode, looking to get healthier. 15 episodes later, I’m (finally!) sober, workout, stretch every morning, vegan again, and eat beans every day. I had no idea I needed this podcast. My marriage is sweeter. My daughters are more grounded. My life is more balanced. Thank you so much for luring me onto this path.

anpf23DisappointedHe shouldn’t talk about things he doesn’t understand with equally uninformed guests. I highly recommend he discuss glp-1 meditations with a qualified obesity specialist instead of an author without a medical degree & a doctor speaking outside his scope of practice who sites “pancreas issues or something like that” seriously? I use to really like this podcast but his obesity bias is showing & it’s not pretty. These meds are improving health & saving lives. You should invite Dr. Spencer Nadolsky an actual obesity & lipid specialist if you really want to have an intelligent conversation on this topic.

PCbnbnbjggStarted off greatThe episodes during the last year or so have been hard to listen to. It’s like Rich is trying too hard. Too much talk about the podcast itself. I have been unable to finish one in months. The genuine nature of the podcast has eroded. Instead of interesting dialogue with a guest there is too much self-exposing with Rich always trying to express himself in some piffy trend setting way(virtue signaling, woke...etc). Too much self absorption- note the constant brand logo changes, set changes, show music etc etc. I keep trying because I used to love this podcast, but it is not getting better. Stick to health, Veganism, spirituality, sleep, exercising, meditation. Lectures on society’s ills are boring. Just like the program- don’t lecture- tell your story. Let the guests tell their story. The last great guest you had was Shane Parrish and his podcasts stick to his formula. He’s not branching out past his capabilities. I’m not saying you can’t do this but slow your roll- pun intended. Now we have the Rich Roll coffee table book and a subscription model on the way. All in the spirit of trying to connect with my listeners in a different way? Call it what it is. Soul crushing capitalism. Count me out.

Sandy8675Please stop talking over your guestsListening to the Chef Babbit episode - she is amazing! But geez, Rich, talk less, listen more. You talked over her to ‘make your points’ and it was slightly annoying to listen to.
-
20metercircleGreat guests, but the host……privileged, arrogant, self-congratulatory, know-it-all. After two years of listening, when Rich Roll countered Cory Richards in an arrogant, pro-AA diatribe, I decided to quit the Rich Roll podcast.

budgbgtMore empathy to those not ultra slim!As a person who is WFPB and feels relatively good about her body, I cringed many times when I listened to your talk with Johann Hari. Yikes, less judgement about those who don’t have your incredible willpower. Kudos to Mr. Hari for keeping going. I might have walked out as you seemed so dismissive and high-and-mighty. And this is from someone who believes everything that you say about the food industry, big pharma etc. Have some empathy though for those who just can’t seem to do it for whatever reason. And, yes, let’s get to the root of the problem, but with less judgement and more love!! In general though, thanks for making these podcasts. I find many of them very informative. I would love to see many more women interviewed though. And persons of the global majority (ie - non-white!!). I have sent these to my friend who is Black, and although he is interested in just about all the topics you tackle, he never really listens because he says, “Everyone is white. I don’t really feel like he is speaking to me.”

Gritty Rider-RunRoll OnLove the show. Also would love more Roll On shows!

Presto78NickDevils ThumbEvery show is great. The preparation is always evident with every guest! Just watched the movie and it is inspiring. Keep up the good work Rich!

Friend of Bill W.2Tom HollandRich, you were so genuine in your vulnerability when the conversation turned to Beero ( sp?) and you were accessing the taste test with Tom. As a fellow friend of Bill W I wondered what you were going to do.. I don’t think I could have , I’m so afraid of waking up the sleeping giant and , without you saying much I know you were as well. No judgement, just wanted you to know I felt you..

ReegerCObesity and Ozempic episodeRe: May 23, 2024 episode on Ozempic. Five stars for Mr Hari (I’ve just ordered his book) and two stars for Rich Roll. Mr Roll’s contempt for people affected by the disease obesity while sitting on his high-hill of extreme privilege was both annoying and disturbing.

AirandrocksTired of listening to talks with menI have been listening to RR for years and have learned so much and been so inspired by many of his guests but I am tired of it being (mostly white) male guests. Out of 49 regular podcasts this season only 9 have been women. I’m incredibly disappointed by this oversight in who they’re booking. Unfortunately taking this out of my listening rotation for now.

Michele WalterIf You're Not Listening, You're Missing OutI've been listening to Rich's podcast since the beginning & every episode I love it more and more. His growth as a wellness advocate & podcaster is amazing. One of the many things I love about the podcast is his interview style. As a litigator myself, I'm very picky about how people speak, ask questions, and convey themselves. Rich does so clearly, authentically, and insightfully. In addition, I also love the range of topics he explores, from nutrition to exercise to spiritual wellness. His entire podcast library, just like his philosophy, is holistic in the truest sense. For those who say this is not a "health & fitness" podcast, you're missing the point. Health & fitness is more about workouts & what's in your water bottles! Most importantly, Rich is the "every man." He actually is just like a normal, average person. People get tired of taking advice from people with a wall of degrees who lack practical experience. Rich has been through struggles & consciously chose to overcome them. He makes his conversations relatable. He shows how anyone can transform his/her situation. I come away from every single episode inspired & hungry for more.

Temptation TylerTaking a break.I used to faithfully listen each week. Times change.... podcasts ebb and flow. So I'll keep it in my feed. I appreciate the women and people of color when they show up. However.... that is not often. Also... let your guests talk. We know you are intelligent and capable... it's why we tune in... it often feels like you are trying to remind us of this fact w a big vocabulary and summary of information that you should let your guests give. Relax... we like you and already know you are smart. Let the guest have more room to talk....
-
Edward Aaron5 StarsFor me, the interviews go beyond recovery. These are conversations about the human experience. Thank you for that.
-
case_e_eatsRR interrupts guest so much I had to tune outI was really excited to learn from a recent episode, but all I got was the guest about to explain something and Rich either finishing the sentence or interjecting. Extremely disappointing
-
HannahBen$Too Many Filler WordsI would rate this podcast higher except that I can’t stand the constant filler words. Especially the phrase: “You Know”. I think I counted it being said over 100 times in one episode. It’s super distracting and annoying.
-
D1 college runnerAmazing podcastI originally read Rich Roll's book since I love reading about runners but his story was more than just inspiring. I found his podcast and he is a fantastic interviewer knowing when to let the person talk and circles back and somehow always asks the questions I'm wondering myself. Somehow gets the coolest guests and meshes with all of them. Would love to hear more Mike Posner podcasts since the two guys have great conversations and bring out the best in each other. Thank you!! Keep doing what you're doing
-
J. SparksGuest requestI look forward to this podcast every week. Rich Roll has many different types of guests that all contribute to understanding wellness. I would love to hear an interview with LISA CARRINGTON. Hopefully schedules will align! Thanks Rich!

SkO GirlMicheal Chernow most powerful interview this yearI lost my Son 2 years ago. He was 24. He was a young Mike. He was Mike’s current best friend. He died in his car with all his “stuff”; all alone. He was an incredible young man who just couldn’t crawl out of the blackest hole any of us could ever know. RR Podcast has been such an important part of my life even years before Eric left. I always prayed Eric would find and stick with sobriety. I always had faith. When Eric died I lost my faith in God. Today listening to Micheal’s story, a bit of my faith is restored. I only wish Eric could’ve met both of you. Maybe he’d have been a guest someday. Wishing you both blue skies and much love… Kathy ps: I’m a KOH devotee and Knight Kap is my new addiction. PLP ☮️🩷🌱

Mclinton76Sam Harris episodeI’m wondering why there was no pushback or interrupting in this episode like they’re normally is when someone comes on who is dogmatic. Harris being a known anti Muslim , and once again couching the Israeli genocide as a good versus evil dynamic. He goes so far as to suggest antisemitism to those who disagree. Not only does Rich not shut this spew down, he asks him to expand on it. Shameful We can do better, and we normally do on this show.

KhanmanCSMore ROLL ONIn the name of all things glorious, please, more Roll On shows. Once a month would be a treat and standout in the landscape of noise.

MP - MaineDrifted off course…This podcast was a great source of information years ago, but this will be the last time I listen. Rich has always interrupted female guests repeatedly…or talked over them…but it has become ridiculous. The guy needs to learn how to use a period at the end of a sentence. In the ozempic episode he talks over the guy with lived experience and decries Big Pharma…and then cuts right to a plug for supplements. The hypocrisy is tangible.

markus1958High Quality Production & InformationRich’s is one of the better podcasts out there. The technical production is flawless and he invites guests who have expertise and experiences that are absolutely fascinating, at least to me. I have one criticism: Rich has a bad habit of interrupting and/or talking over his guests. It’s as if he wants to show that he also has wisdom equal to theirs and he has to get his point in there too. This is extremely frustrating, especially because he often interrupts the guest just as they are about to make an important point or show the meaning of a story they have been telling. I know Rich probably doesn’t realize he is doing this. He should listen back and see what I mean. He was especially irritating in his behavior in interviewing Ellen Langer. He must half cut her off or interrupted her at least 20 times. Other than this unfortunate quirk, it’s a fine podcast.

Sherri BattazzoMy absolute favorite podcastListening to Rich feels like hanging out with a good friend, who has really interesting friends. His voice puts me at ease like the Calm app. I count on Rich to deliver relevant info and I trust his opinion about the products that sponsor his show. Most notable is Rich’s vocabulary- he uses diverse and articulate language, its a real treat to learn from him.
-
GI_JanieRich is a master interviewer!By far my favorite podcast. Rich asks deep and meaningful questions to his guests. I have no favorite episodes because he makes every episode special and unique in its own right. He is so empathetic and intelligent in his approach. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is looking to expand their awareness in diet, spirituality, health, or anyway to improve their life.

BajaDeviLife Changing! The RR podcast has been life changing for both me and my husband. He has such a wide-range of people on and does such lengthy in-depth interviews that I always leave feeling better and enriched. I am not an athlete but do connect with him on being wfpb, so I love all that stuff. My fav interviews are definitely with his wife but the one I just listened to with Raghu was flipping fantastic. Thanks so much for what you do. Your humble, self-deprecating style is an inspiration to me and soooo many. Please keep on keepin’ on!!!!
-
Dr. DhruIncredible PodcastsThank you for the effort that goes into these thoughtful podcasts. You and your guests are amazing.

ginak22Loved episode 829Thank you. Much appreciation for this podcast.

KCG50The GOATRRP was my first podcast many years ago. It is the only one I have continuously listened to over the years. I continue to learn and improve my life via RRP. Rich has introduced me to so many inspiring people over the years that have made me a better human. Thank you Rich. I can’t thank you enough for how much your podcast has enriched my life and how much my vocabulary has grown because of it. 🌟

manayunk wallrich swallowed a thesaurusRich is great but sometimes he tries to be a little too cute with his "I know the latest in busiess jargon catch phrases". He sounds like he swallowed a business thesaurus. Examples of words he uses that are technically correct but not naturally spoken: modality, iterative, stacking, paradigm shift (* this one is a REAL overused Rich Roll phrase), synergy, tabula rasa He really seems to twist himself into a knot to try and use the words/phrases whenever he can. It's almost as if he is trying to impress the guest.

phillygirlrunnerAdams laugh!!Love , love , love your podcast !!!!! I’m a distance runner and into fitness and nutrition so it’s always great hearing what you have to say - I absolutely love your delivery and insight on everything it’s always spot on! But I have to tell you Adam has the absolute best laugh I have ever heard! If I’m feeling blah and on a run and hear his laughter it’s EVERY THING!!! I love it! Please let him know that💥

NemokotaTop of my listI went back and listened to every available episode. Took a while! The most recent one had some new music I really didn’t like at the beginning. I’ve learned a lot. I’ve added some products that have been discussed or advertised to my regular routine. Rarely there is an episode that I don’t listen to after a few minutes. More often there is a topic I think is not of interest but it turns out to be one I gain value from.
-
firegirlRussellRich Roll- BEST listenerI love this podcast. I listen to a few health and wellness podcasts, and I find you, Rich Roll, to be a fantastic listener and a MASTER CONVERSATIONALIST! I aspire to do the same (with streaky results🤣). In the episode with Dr Daniel Amen, I had to laugh about the comment regarding interrupting. You are NOT an interrupter. Thanks for all the hard work and heart you put into this endeavor.
-
Kay Ee BeeSarnoRich! On the Zack Braff episode I was really surprised to hear you dismiss Dr. Sarno so quickly. Why the skepticism? You said you listened more intently because an A-lister brought him to your attention? I think you need to do a deep dive on this topic and get some more information. You are doubting s methodology that implicates stress having an effect on the body? You have a lot of listeners and you just took away a potential intervention for them. Listen to what people who has been helped by Sarno are saying. Can’t help but see you in a different light now.

Merlin2/14AppreciationThanks Rich, Good talk with Kara Goucher! She is a GREAT PERSON!!!!!
-
Remi ListensIncredibly thought provokingIt’s hard to explain this lecture but it is so different than anything else you’ve listened to. Thought provoking particularly examine allowing AI to eventually run our lives based on keeping us healthy and alive…sounds great, right but at what cost. Wow.

jrayner23What is happening as of late?I’ve listened to this show religiously for over 8 years. But the guests as of late feels to be a product of Rich and the show becoming more prominent. Please start asking what is the goal of brining this guest and is the audience going to learn something? And Rich, imposter syndrome is real. Stop talking over people when you feel like you have to show them you’re smart or “one of them”
-
AKRunner.LEAEpisode 821 - Best Discussion of Kara Goucher’s BookRich Roll takes the discussion of The Longest Race to the next level during this episode. No other podcast covers the topics like he does in this episode. The discussion is rich, expansive, and comprehensive. Does not side step the hard aspects and brings in many points and aspect that no other podcast has. His research is impressive.

Zuzu2219Excellent, informative, funWhat a wonderful podcast - so happy I stumbled on it while scrolling around Apple Podcasts. Super informative and in depth, while also completely accessible for a person of any level knowledge in the particular subject. My new favorite!

-
Fancy ScientistFantastic interviews and guestsI read Rich Roll’s book and loved it and he does not disappoint on this podcast. I learn so much.
-
SleepHappyJessicaPowerful EpisodeI’m sharing your episode with Dr. Ellen Langer with everyone I know. Even my 20 year old in nursing school bc she talks about what she notices about todays medical system… think of the wellness the world would have with a mindful hospital.

cocoxmutdPodcastingI am fairly new to what I call podcasting. Listening to podcasts on my way to and from work. I have found Rich Roll to be one of my favorites. He is genuine and seems to be so interested in each subject. He dives deep and asks the questions that interest him that feel so personal and not just for show. Meaning, substance and entertainment 💚🌱 Also makes me happy he is vegan and cares our the earth. Please follow the vegan food pantry I am on staff for @lasveganfoodpantry On IG and Facebook
