LBI JimStill Top NotchAn All Star podcast team that interacts well and remains objective and entertaining. It’s been an exciting year, but I never imagined a team could score three touchdowns over 98 yards within 15 minutes of consecutive playing time (4th Q USC and 1st Q Indiana)! It’s a great sport. Thanks for covering it so well.
-
DCDomerGreat showReally enjoy the show! O’Malley reminds me a bit like Brady Quinn. When the lights go on he gets a little too amped and interrupts the other hosts too much. Interestingly, he doesn’t do this on instant analysis. But he means well so I don’t want to bag on him too much. Thanks so much for the show gentlemen!

GrecoThrakiInteresting but offLove ND and ND football, and these podcast guys are good for some injury updates and interview information, it their pre-game analysis is often off (see Northern Illinois and Georgia Tech). If these guys say they don’t see opposing success then strap in for a close game of opposing success.
-
ND NaplesNever Miss A ShowI grew up about 3 miles from ND and love the community. This is an excellent podcast. The knowledge and detail is perfect. I just wish there were more! Go Irish!
-
Irishtom11783Tim Prinster the angry old man yelling at kidsHard to get past Prinster know it all mentality. The other two hosts are enjoyable Unfortunately Prinster is part of the package

ally10Mailbag: ND Portal SuccessIs there a school doing it better right now at playing within themselves than ND in the portal? They have really had success and accelerated in landing high floor UDFA/Day 3 NFL types like a Javonte Jean Baptiste, Thomas Harper, Beaux Collins, even really good kickers and punters that know they might need that Masters degree. That on top of prioritizing QB from the jump and retaining players for an extra year. The bidding wars for disgruntled freshman are fun but the bottom can really fall out elsewhere (LSU CBs) that I just don’t see happening the way Freeman is attacking it.

Dvae ShineBest Irish podcastI’ve tried a lot and this is the best.

-
NDZAKKBest ND coverage aroundPriester, Sampson and O’mally are tops when it comes to ND football coverage. Look forward to this podcast weekly. A++
-
Rocky Mountain DadGreat chemistry & analysisI don’t know why, but I love the interplay between all three of these guys. I hope they never change anything because the analysis is superb but I love the individual points-of-view of each of these guys. Keep it up!
-
Mrnobody916Great insight!A brutally honest podcast from guys who know what they are talking about. Look forward to every episode.
-
Scott_ND44Awesome podcastI always look forward to this pod. Great job!!
-
Pittsburgh MikeLBest ND Podcast By FarPrister, O’Malley and Sampson are terrific hosts and offer timely news and thoughtful opinions. And unlike a lot of ND podcasts I listen to, they keep the show moving and don’t gratuitously repeat and restate each others thoughts.
-
kevyo13Best ND podcastCan’t beat the information this podcast provides, best in the business covering ND
-
Casey ReeceWould love to meet you guys!Do guys do awesome work!!
-
Honest 1555The best Notre Dame Podcast.I always enjoy this show - detailed, articulate and professional. Regarding USC vs ND. I wonder if some of the players were infected from their BC game. I heard the flu bug had hit Boston College the prior week. I feel run down and sluggish just before I get sick.
-
forEmmettBrilliantThese guys, all three of them, are remarkably articulate and highly knowledgeable. They do their homework and they are not “homers”. I’m a USC grad and fan and I was thoroughly entertained and educated by their pregame comments just prior to SC game.
-
jh5761AwesomeTim P is the master. His knowledge is incredible and have followed his stuff since 90. Pete and Tim make it the best podcast
-
MatthewPELove itGreat podcast with great insights. Best overall ND podcast. Thanks for the great ND insights and go Irish!☘️
-
VA MackSuper podcast!!Thank you for offering incisive, clear and concise commentary on UND football. There are a lot of options out there. I find other options weak: too amateur, too reactive, too know it all, and too verbose. You three offer various opinions in a respectful (mutually) way. Simply the best… I come away knowing more even as you pose new questions.
-
stinky linesGold standardNo better Notre Dame pod than Irish illustrated
-
JNNRTBest InsightDefinitely the best collection of best writers and insiders for ND sports without the blatant homerism.
-
Barbouncer71Show is goodBut they constantly review that the other team will not show up and ND will destroy them . It happened numerous times this year and ND Wins but certainly not they way all 3 predict . These guys are the best . No doubt about it
-
jdirish005!Silence the phonesAs professionals that really should go without saying...
-
DynTasticGreat coverageThey do a great job!! No podcast is perfect - but this one is close!
-
goldendomer2014SubscribeAny chance Tim Prister could be removed from the show? The other two guys commentary, knowledge and analysis of ND football is amazing. Tim Prister always wants to be the front man of the show offering his opinions and in reality he’s dragging the show down.

Bob Cobb1985Five starsFive stars
-
@Iggy57Like under/overNew under/over on how many times Pete Sampson uses the word “like”- I say +100.
-
CO WaltThe Standard for ND PodcastsThis is the gold standard for Notre Dame podcasts. All the hosts are great and informative and always have a great discussion about all things ND.
-
Irish'815 star RatingNo way unless you think P&S know more than the coaches and players.
-
Chrisamos22Best Irish PodcastAny Irish fan should be subscribed to this pod. It’s usually on twice a week. O’Malley is a absolute gem. Prister has a wealth of knowledge and calls it like it is (which is obv not the norm) Sampson has stayed on and the dynamic works well. My only request would be that I’d like to have more guest speakers on the pod.
-
MiddleAgedND fanBest of the ND Podcasts out thereI travel so I listed to most of the ND Football Podcasts. The Irish Illustrated Podcast is best in class. Solid insight, well formed opinions delivered in an entertaining and succinct manor. I am glad Pete remains with the podcast - enjoy his perspective.
-
NDU1976NitsO’Malley and Prister are both knowledgeable and express themselves well with insight. They are very good at what they do. This comment is purely aesthetic or procedural. Fix the camera angle on your videos such as instant analysis. Camera angle from below is the worst and looks second rate. Should be no lower than eye level. Second, up the wardrobe. No more T-shirts. Loud plaids. (Or any plaids). Look the part.
-
Dan the man scottIrish IllustratedMy favorite podcast and I listen to many! Perfect amount of time (not too long or too short) and very professionally done as the guys are well prepared including with fan questions (most podcasts wing it....not these guys)! Very informative and just excellent all around.
-
Nylistener444Best Irish podThis is the most entertaining Irish football podcast. The guys have great camaraderie and I’m glad Pete has stayed on to do this despite his move to the Athletic. I hope he continues to do this pod as it introduced me to his new pod which is also great. Keep up the great work!
-
ADtiME07Great AnalysisAlways look forward to the breakdowns, news m, and insights you guys provide . It’s refreshing to have smart and realistic journalism for the Fighting Irish!! Look forward to the Podcasts every week! Go Irish!
-
Dallas0021Best ND podcastTim, Tim, and Pete are the best in the business in print and conversation. Their format allows for a succinct review of topics with their opinions meshing, even when not agreeing, for an enjoyable discussion. Go Irish, thanks for all the hard work!
-
IrishFan10Best ND Podcast! There is nothing better than Tim, Tim and Pete discussing Notre Dame football together!
-
Brad DomerBest ND podcastGreat show with great insights.
-
Three Generations YankeesMailbag - losses by a touchdown or less?Hearing lots of comments about how this or that team lost 5 or 6 or whatever games by a touchdown or less last year. Really, don’t most teams with a losing record each year lose 3-4-5 games by a touchdown or less? Go Irish! ☘️🏈
-
Steves82Best ND podcastBest ND football, and a little basketball, podcast. Seem to be the most insightful. Even with 2 shows a week during the season, I could go for more.
-
Faceless0311First time, long timeBeen listening and (at times) interacting w/ Tim, Tim and Pete for years. This is appointment podcasting. Really thought i rated this years ago. As for the content, these gentlemen are as reliable, credible, measured and informed as anyone on the beat. ...they’ll throw a bucket of cold water on you if youre too drunk. And i’m glad for them
-
irishoatDenis O’TOOLEThe audio on this Podcast is miserable.
-
Ark3505Good ND podcast but too negative at timesGood podcast for ND football: informative, concise, very easy to listen to. However, they can be too negative esp. Tim Prister, towards certain players and ND team in general. Being objective is imp, but they go too far the other direction too often. I want to be excited for games, not told all the reasons they will lose...
-
Raymike65Best information out thereI have been listening to these guys on whatever platform they end up on. I feel like I am getting the best most up to date information on my favorite team. They have a casual friendly style that makes you feel like you are listening to a couple of buddies debate what is going on from a week to week outlook. They come across as people that like when Notre Dame wins without being complete homers.
-
PlayLikeAChampion7Awesome PodcastCan’t thank you guys enough for the year round coverage and insight. This is a must listen for me every week! Go Irish! ☘️
-
NCND82O’MalleyFinally said Playoff instead of “Playoffs” 👍🏾
-
NdtexOne of the best from the beatA must listen for any Notre Dame fan as you get three hosts from the beat delivering insightful commentary on the team delivered in easy-to-digest sub-hour episodes. It’s incredible the amount of content that is put into this tight package.
