Sports was a way of life and growing up in beautiful southwest New Mexico it could be watched or better yet, be played all-year-round. Having lived in Japan since 2000 it was sometimes difficult to keep up to say the least. Although, sports was a way for me to connect back to my childhood and pass on traditions and the love of sports to my own children it was sometimes hard to understand the finer details of Japanese baseball. After a recommendation from my American friend Tim last year, I have been hooked and have become an avid listener. Both Mr. Allen & Mr. Gibson are definitely all-star MVPs when it comes to information and details on everything about Japanese baseball. I especially enjoy their interviews of players and coaches and it gives you the feeling of having a first-class seat on the bench. I would highly recommend their podcast and I look forward to buying them a cold beer at the ballpark hopefully soon! Cheering on the Dragons, Mitchell

As a relative novice to the league, this is been the perfect companion to watching the season. Can’t recommend enough.

Hard to keep up with Japanese baseball if you don’t speak the language. Fortunately these guys are there for us!

I like that they cover Japanese baseball for the English speaking fan, but I am not sure they even like each other. Jim just barely seems to tolerate John. The interviews are good, and they cover the whole the league.

I am not very knowledgeable about Japanese baseball or the NPL, but I am able to learn a little bit more as I hear each episode. The creators' passion and knowledge really come through for a quality listen.

I live in New York. It’s rare that I get to stay up late enough to watch a full NPB game. This podcast pretty much keeps me abreast of everything that’s going on around the league. The hosts are knowledgable, pleasant, and obviously love the game of baseball. As the only English language NPB podcast, this is a must listen for any baseball fan interested in the Japanese league. 10/10 would listen again

I've been listening to this podcast for a few months now and I'm really enjoying. John and Jim always have great interviews with current or former NPB players and I enjoy their analysis of the game. Keep up the good work guys!

As a big fan of baseball here in Japan (and a regular attendee at Jingu stadium...... Go go Swallows!!), it's nice to have some more English-language news and commentary regarding the state of the sport. Very good job & keep it up!

This is the only English language podcast, it is a solid listen. They point out the differences of the game in Japan. I enjoy it.

As the only English language look at jp baseball this gets the easy nod, but it's good aside from that. Enjoying.
