Someone needs to remind Mike that it’s not the Mike Frank show. The amount of times he interrupts is maddening and the points he attempts to string together are pathetic. They also seem to be looking at Tommy reese with rose tinted glasses. The man was a frustrating play caller that belongs at a low power five job. Parker isn’t the guy for PC and freeman needs to either grow up fast or head for the door. I’d like to hear more from Jamie without interruption.

Why does Matt sound like he doesn’t want to be there? Dude , pick up the energy level a bit. Your penchant for downplaying every point you make is irritating. Also, please for the love of god stop ending every sentence with “....right? ....”. I get it - that seems to be a generational\hip , nuanced style of talking but man is it irritating.

The show content is strong especially with C McCullum and Jaime. MIke Frank is heavily slanted towards only seeing he negative. Should be more balanced. According to him ND is always lacking in all aspects. Opening music is horrible. Sounds like a middle school garage band

Jamie is it so hard to properly pronounce these players and recruits names? You constantly butcher and mispronounce their names. Doesn’t part of your brain wonder why you’re the only one pronouncing their names incorrectly? Are you trying to be elitist guy? Clean it up

Experienced ND insight

I enjoy this podcast very much, especially Jamie’s insights. However, I think we need to start an over/under bet on how many times each episode Mike says “it is what it is,” rather than offer analysis or potential solutions to Irish issues. Right now the over/under would have to be 10.5.

Mike and Jamie do a fantastic job.

Nobody does it better. The most connected and insightful. Operates with high integrity. My go-to source for ND football recruiting and X’s and O’s.

Interesting how BK gets the credit on coaching a team to 10-2 with only 2 getting drafted and drawing very high praise from you but on the flip side BK was responsible in recruiting that same class 3-4 years ago and therefore should get the equal criticism for his always mediocre “down a different isle” bulcrap recruiting effort. If BK actually worked on the recruiting trail ND could of had 5+ easily drafted and likely won a Natty in 2017 and 2020. Very homer at times as i also remember Mike defending Quinn and the negative things being said about his coaching last year which is for a while another time to discuss lol…

I do not like this new format of having an everyday podcast. The episodes are a little lengthy in my opinion. One to two podcasts a week are enough. There are other podcasts to listen to not just ISD.

I just started listening again, and forgot Mikes great style. He gets right to the point, and isn’t afraid to say what he thinks. I stopped listening when he moved away…..still wished he lived in South Bend, but still a great podcast!

If looking for ND info than you’ll be ok with it. However, if you want knowledgeable football insight than go somewhere else. Of all the football and ND podcast I listen to, these guys are the least knowledgeable of the game and it’s not even close.

Mike is angry but I love it. Jamie and Matt are great additions to the podcast. The guys are very well educated on all things ND football and recruiting. Thanks guys!!

It’s ok, but Mike is sooo negative all the time. I do get a kick out of how many times I count the “ya knows” they say.

This was one of the first Notre Dame podcasts I started listening to and it’s also the most insightful. Mike and Jamie are great together and bring a good balance of expertise, enthusiasm, and realism. The podcast also led me to subscribe to the site, which was similarly beneficial—I came for Jamie’s write-ups and stayed for the texts that they send you when we get a commit (or hire the best DC on the market). Bravo, guys, keep up the good work.

I was surprised to hear how much they get wrong on ND broadcasting speculation. No basic understanding of TV and media. A bit concerning they are speaking without any type of preparation.

It’s gone downhill. Mike moved back to Nebraska. No idea why they have a guy based in Canada. The whole thing is disjointed.

It helps me remember everything that happened and figure out which takeaways were in game overreactions and which were things I didn't notice at the time.

Sound quality is lacking and as much as I like Norte Dame football this podcast is hard to listen to. It feels like it’s done “on the cheap” compared to the other ND pods. Seem to have more perspective on how things used to be.

The others don’t even come close! Mike & Company are the Creme de la creme!

Good information and for the most part entertaining. However, the over the top negativity and constant second guessing detracts from the overall quality. At its best it is great, at its worst it is unlistenable.

Not looking for homers but give them credit for a major win. Jamie is the only reasonable guy you have. How about spending time highlighting the great success. Listening to negative critiques on Avery etc. I don’t enjoy this.

Best days are behind it. Mike’s show has an informal feel to it, which had always struck me as appealing but in recent years it’s just come off as a bit of a clown show. Good guests and analysts. Lots of negativity but NDs program has been mired in negativity, so this sentiment is understandable. Not as refined or connected to the program as Irish Illustrated but also not the train wreck of Blue & Gold with Bryan loving him some Bryan.

I look forward to Power Hour for my Monday evening commute home. I really enjoy the addition of Bob Chmiel - he adds a great old school "return to glory" attitude.

Mike and his crew are the best. By far the best ND coverage around. You really get an inside view of what's going on around ND football.

Randy W. Hall of Dandy Classic has been a fan of Power Hour for over a decade. The Irish Football team can let me down but Mike Frank and Co. rarely do. Best Irish podcast out there👍🏻

Mike and his guests do a great job of giving analysis, player breakdowns, recruiting info, ect. They take the show seriously, but have fun and really love what they do. This is definitely a worthwhile download and time very well spent.
