The Michigan Man Podcast is produced for die hard Wolverine fans. The show will include weekly interviews with Michigan Bloggers and other special guests. The center piece of the show will be fan feedback. We want fans to phone in audio posts, and email their comments, rants...whatever is on their mind regarding Michigan athletics.The Podcast format will evolve in the coming months. Initially we will have four segments. 1) The View from section 17 - Commentary from host Mike Fitzpatrick2) Weekly guest interviews.3) Post game notes and scores focusing on Wolverine Football, Basketball, and hockey.4) Fan Feedback - Audio posts from fans who want their opinion heard, or would like to comment on topics from earlier shows.     I consume CFB and Michigan podcasts relentlessly and somehow am just now discovering this absolute gem. Not only is Mike’s analysis astute and historically grounded, his dulcet voice work is a refreshing gift to the ears (especially compared to some of his Wolverine podcasting peers!). His excellent interview preB1G Title Game with Iowa radio voice Gary Dolphin (another virtuosic set of pipes) was my first listen. I couldn’t help but be struck by both the cogent conversation and the respectful, collegial tone of the dialogue. I’ve subscribed and highly recommend. Keep up the great work, and GO BLUE!

    Mike is an excellent host! I love hearing from the different writers and from the opposition. Every time the podcast starts during the season, I automatically start saying the poem during the intro because I love my Michigan! It gives me chills every time I hear it! GO BLUE!!!

    I am a buckeye fan and this podcast is by far my favorite podcast to listen to on my long drives home from work. Mike has a great voice and is fun to listen to, and I can tell that he puts a lot of time and effort into making this show one of a kind. I only wish I had a podcast for the buckeyes that is as good as this.

    I recently met the wonderful man behind this podcast. It was a prelude to my first Michigan game at the Big House. My son and I were at the Holiday Inn waiting for the bus. At the bar we struck up a conversation with the Michigan man who shared with us so many great stories about Michigan football. What a informative experience and I love his podcast. GO BLUE!!

    This isn't my favorite Michigan Football podcast, but I still make time for it every week. Mgoblog's is probably my favorite, followed by mlive's. The quality of each podcast is pretty dependent on the guest for the week, so it can be hit or miss, but Mike is great. My only suggestion is to get rid of what I assume is... football players hitting each other in the intro music? Really sounds strange when starting up each podcast... dudes grunting. Just cut right to the music in the intro.

    It's not too long or too short, gives the info I want for past/next games and I like that they bring in writers for other teams to show what to look for in the next game. Great show!

    The opening sequence of great Michigan radio play calls gives me chills everything. Very informative information and analysis. I enjoy when they have beat writers and/or bloggers of the opposing teams on to discuss the games. It makes watching the games even more enjoyable when I know more about the other team. I would like to see them do more player interviews but all in all I love it. Helps pass the time on a long commute. Highly recommend

    The actual Michigan teams' content is 5 star. My only complaint is that there is, in my opinion, an excessive amount of non-content (commercial) time and repitition that detracts from the content. Otherwise it's a great podcast for someone living in NY, who wants to stay connected with what's going on in the athletics world of the U of M.

    This is such an excellent podcast that it transcends a fancast label. High production values, most intelligent analysis, great for football (of course), but good for b-ball & hockey as well. I love the inclusion of opposing pundits. My favorite football podcast by far.

    Great podcast. As a transplanted Michigander, it is great to be kept up to date so accurately on what is going on in the Michigan sports scene. Each podcast is well organized and precise. It is similar to listening to reports from one of the networks. The interviews are well done. I enjoy listening to some of the writers I grew up on, and those I became aquainted with on visits home. This podcast is much better than I expected and I look forward to each one.
