An excellent podcast. Just don’t invite the reviewer back from episode 869-Norwegian Escape. Hearing that prima donna complain about anything and everything was a buzz kill.

This is a very unprofessional podcast. For a guest, on the episode on the World Cruise, to state that maybe there could be a murderer during the cruise and be excited about it is wrong. What's even worse is for the host to allow it.

An informative podcast that provides updates on the latest on cruising and nice overviews of cruise ships. I just wish the host, Doug, would expand a bit on guest comments by asking non-scripted follow-up questions. Too often, it feels like we’re being rushed through a list of prefab questions. For me, the cruise ship is the destination. Recently, a guest was giving his feedback aboard Allure of the Seas, a ship I’m highly interested in sailing upon. It would have been great to hear more about the Royal promenade and the guest’s experiences in the various neighborhoods aboard the ship. Instead, we were ushered quickly past the reviewer’s comment and onto the next question. Please slow down a bit and give your listeners a more immersive experience. But, overall, a great podcast.

I recently got into cruising and found this podcast sometime on 2018. I had booked my first cruise which was in January 2019. The podcast has a great format you will get updates and news and then you receive reviews from cruisers. I enjoy the interviews with Sherry and Richard and the other interviews with folks in the industry, and the Q&A. I also enjoy the reviews from cruisers although at times they can be a bit lengthy. However, overall a wonderful, creative and fun podcast. 2021 and this is still a great podcast.

Try to widen your cruise line reviews. Essentially the same lines make up the overwhelming majority of the reviews.

Absolutely love this podcast! I work in auto collision and listen to every episode I possibly can! I binge listened to every single episode and am working on my second time through. I have learned a LOT of useful information and about great places to check out! I’ve only been on one cruise but, with help of Doug and everyone else that is on these, do have another booked (if COVID allows) and can not wait for it! Keep up the amazing work!

I’ve been on 15 cruises and have started a YouTube channel (The Cruise Guys) and I still learn new things about cruising listening to Doug.

I really enjoy listening to the show, however, I would love more on Princess Cruises as that is the cruise line I usually sail with. Lots on reviews on NCL, Royal and Carnival.

I’m so happy to have discovered this podcast especially now that we are on this pause from everything and have no idea when we’ll be back on ships. The industry news is thorough and Doug, the host, is terrific. He has wonderful guests (both passengers and crew) who share their experiences onboard different ships, offer fascinating history, or answer listeners’ questions. I’m digging into old episodes and it’s giving me some comfort to be able to listen to others who look forward to cruising again one day as much as I do!

I love listening to Cruise Radio to stay in the know of what is going on across the cruise industries. Many podcast have their niche however Cruise Radio is a love all serve all Cruise channel that covers many Cruise lines and has many tips and reviews to offer. I love when Doug offers first person reviews and how he has other content creators on his podcast like CCTV, Royal Caribbean Vlog or the funny Tommy from Always be booked. Nothing helps me take my mind away from the grind like a fantastic cruise. Cruise radio gives me a taste of that weekly.

This is by far the best cruising podcast on air. Doug brings his background of hosting traditional radio and delivers a listening experience second to none. I love cruising but only go on one per year. This podcast gives you a mental getaway with its detailed descriptions of life onboard.

I was able to book a special cruise after hearing about it on Doug’s show. You learn a lot about current events in the cruise world, reviews from folks on different ships, and interesting tips on excursions. The one ad is for an art auction- makes me laugh when I’m on a cruise, I hear it in my head, and it “makes me want to spend money on art!” Subscribe and listen to the backlog- all good!!!!
