The characters and idea are both fun and interesting. The writer does an excellent job reading her narrative and is engaging and delightful.

I have read/listened to several sotries in the "alternative view of superheroes" sub genre and this is by far my favorite. It is a totally original take on the superhero idea and without being pretentious at all completely turn the iodea upside down.

I thought that this was an interesting take on the superhero genre. The characters were fun and as someone who worked in a bar in a previous life I could totally believe the disgruntled bar flys angle.

I will always spend money on a story with a female protagonist even if she's really a MicGuffin like in Black list. But this is not Black list. It's a very cool concept. Kinda like the "Powers " comic back in the day, you know the one PlayStation made a TV show out of. Well this is better. It's a fantastic story. Now if it was available in order and I didn't have to sit over my pod player to enjoy it. You know, like every other thing I've ever seen on iTines, then I could recommend it. Get it sorted out. It makes you look like buffoons not worth personhood let alone getting payed for art.

Excellently written story that just makes you love the main character and her group of friends. Not great people but they just wanted to do the right thing. I wish Mur had written a second book, I need answers to a question or two!

Found this by chance while searching for audio dramas online, and was immediately sucked into the story and taken with the characters. My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner, but I am glad that it still lives on the Internet.

I really enjoyed listening to this!

A great story about the rest of us who are under the "protection" of the super heroes: the arrogance of said heroes, the clean up after their "rescues," the traffic jams, etc. Its just a great story for anyone who has ever been told they aren't good enough. It's also a look at how government manipulates a populace: creating/discarding 'heroes,' genetic engineering, mass deceit of the people. Plus, it's a really fun story.

Just perfect the way it is. It was so good, I'm coming back a year later to write a review for it. And now I'm starting on "Heaven".

This is a unique take on superhero fiction, and I really enjoyed Mur's creative, fun take on an otherwise not so interesting genre. I will be looking for more audio books by this author.

Mur Laferty writes a great book and does as well reading it! It's a fresh twist on superheroes, even my teen loved it!

Cute and witty story for those who love a good Super Hero (or in this case super hero wanabe) story. These characters have you cheering for them, embarrassed for them, and on their side! A good clean story for those who are looking for lighthearted humor.

She has a witty fun writing style. It make me think this is an author I would love to meet just so I can see what kind of person thinks of the stuff she does. While this is my favorite to date. Check out her Heaven Series. Great stuff Mur. Keep doing what you do because the financial success will come with the great writing.
