I have truly enjoyed listening to Mike and the guest on the show. One thing that really stands out is that they all come across as good humans. I get just the right amount of stories and education. Thank you for the ugly dog pod cast. Can wait for the next one. I hope it is a deep dive on all things English pointers

Years ago when I hunted coonhounds in ND, I would float their food. I’ve had a couple dog folks & vets tell me I shouldn’t do that. Nice to know some of the science behind feeding that way while the dogs were being worked. Thanks to you and Dr Lobos for talking about nutrition. Randy

I’d venture to say this is the most thoughtful podcast in the bird dog space. Mike’s genuine personality and curiosity really shines through with a podcast that feels like two people are having deep conversations that gets past the surface level with every topic. Every podcast has something informative for every level of bird dog experience.

Mike is a very interesting guy that brings a different perspective to this space. He is a giver that has helped me and many others in and around NAVHDA and bird dog training circles. He has a talent for listening and relating to others. His interview style goes well beyond the norm. I can already tell from the first three episodes that I'll be hitting play as soon as these are published.
