Aftermath Hours

The flagship podcast of Aftermath, a worker-owned, subscription-based website covering video games, the internet, and everything that comes after from journalists who previously worked at Kotaku, Vice, and The Washington Post. Each week, games journalism veterans Luke Plunkett, Nathan Grayson, Chris Person, Riley MacLeod, and Gita Jackson – though not always all at once, because that’s too many people for a podcast – break down video game news, Remember Some Games, and learn about Chris’ frankly incredible number of special interests. Sometimes we even bring on guests from both inside and outside the video game industry! I don’t know what else to tell you; it’s a great time. Simply by reading this description, you’re already wasting time that you could be spending listening to the show. Head to aftermath.site for more info.

We are the Aftermath of games podcasts
Aftermath is a site helmed by a bunch of smart, funny, critical bloggers and journalists who frequently illuminate new perspectives on the games industry and culture. As a subscriber I am extremely proud to support the Aftermath crew, and I couldn’t be happier with the stimulating, goofy, in-depth conversations happening here on the podcast. Highly recommended listening.

A podcast about games that is about everything else, too
They'll talk about games and gaming news, but also the work that goes into being worker-owned in a landscape that is being scrubbed of all gaming journalists. Each person, and each guest, will have their own personality and contribute who they are to the show, and that may make some more your speed, others less. But it's REAL, and it's a good listen.

    Brainrot the podcast...
Such narrow minded views that are out of touch with reality let alone everyday people.

    Chris let other people speak
I deeply love the show and I truly madly deeply love Aftermath, I just need Chris to not monopolize the airwaves. I love you my dude, and this is coming from someone who does the same thing, but ya gotta cool it ever so slightly.

    The Chris Person Show
The podcast has become completely dominated by Chris Person, which is too bad because he has the absolute worst takes consistently. Real dark horse that out of all these people he would be the most odious to listen to by far.
