Great account of similarities in “truther” propaganda associated with Pearl Harbor and 9/11 attacks. Believe you would find American Journalist George Seldes’ (1890-1995) work on foreign and domestic fascist movements leading up to WW2 enormously insightful re troubling current events. Scope is comprehensive. Includes background profile of Chicago Tribune’s McCormick. Recommend starting with one (or more) of following books by Mr. Seldes: 1. Facts and Fascism (1947) 2. 1000 Americans (1947) 3. The Facts Are: A Guide to Falsehood and Propaganda in the Press and Radio (1942) 4. Witch Hunt (1940)

This show is a lot of fun. The way it weaves history, conspiracy, dubious mental health and grifting is timely and very important. Would love to see this as a large scale production on a weekly show on prime time to compete with all the pseudo-science and “alternative history” nonsense out there. Bravo, well done. (Hey Hollywood, you have poisoned the well long enough, why not provide the public with a bit of an antidote, it is the least you can do)

Informative, super witty, intriguing. Just found this podcast and it has instantly risen to be in my top 3 - 4 favorites of about 50.

And plenty of relation to the present insanity challenging our democracy. It is nice to know this is nothing new.
