ListensinnycGreat ShowThis is a great show for cinephiles and casual moviegoers. The hosts are very knowledgeable and clearly love their subject. The cross-generational dialogue is illuminating; relatable but still sophisticated. I learned a lot. The episodes made me not only want to see the film, but also sit around talking about it afterward.

FranklinMMGreat Idea and Well ExecutedI love great movies. And I seldom worry that the greats from the past are no longer relevant. Now Mark Netter and David Tausik have taken this tested this idea, with very positive results. Assembling knowledgeable film lovers a couple of decades younger, they are exposing them to greats from the past, in this case starting with 1969’s surprise Oscar winner, “Midnight Cowboy.” In the process, they illuminated aspects of the film I had not appreciated before and have even motivated me to see it, again.
