The story is thin. The characters are not believable. The audio between characters/situations doesn’t match up. The “best” therapist she goes to would have her license revoked so fast. The “genetics” is as dreamed up by a 12 year old. I wanted to get to Tony Shalhoub, but season one is so bad that I won’t make it to season 2

As a scientist myself listening to this while doing genomics experiments, I can’t get past the DNA under a microscope. Made me chuckle lol. If only it worked that way. Cute podcast otherwise and fun, but the inaccuracies take me right out.

I enjoyed this season however please get better voice actors please!

I enjoyed the storyline but I’m not sure if I was the only one who felt like the storyline was predictable about who the traitor would be. Also, main character and brother had some missing emotions not sure what exactly but they didn’t catch my attention. At certain points in the storyline I enjoyed listening but majority of the time I already knew exactly what would happen before it happened. Still overall interesting storyline. But script could have improved and so would voice actors.

Thank you for sharing your opinion but if the voices get obnoxious then don’t listen to it anymore simple. And voyage please make more and or more similar podcasts and the noises in the background are perfect👌🏼

The story was good, but everything was too centered on the main character. Every conversation is centered around just the main character and helping her figure things out. No other character is developed. It seems the very existence of everyone is to support the main character

Good story line and grabbed my attention right away. I feel like the writers robbed themselves though. This story could have easily gone several episodes with just the plot around her moms devious acts. Hope they don’t rush the rest of the story.

I really like this podcast and hope it continues. The story and drama are on point, I just can’t help feeling like I missed something because of how fast things developed. Almost like a lot of the plot was cut out during editing. Keep up the good work though. Looking forward to seeing more!

Had my attention from the very beginning but was just too short. It was like this rush that felt like it ran soon as it started.. I really hope they put out more episodes soon or I can see this ending up like other podcasts that gain my attention and then take a long time to put out more episodes….By the time those episodes pop up on my feed I can’t remember the story very well and usually don’t listen or if I do start listening again i last about an episode and just don’t enjoy it or can’t follow the story. This could be a great story if they want it to be. It just doesn’t feel like this was an end

Bad voice acting, writing, delivery - don’t waste your time

I’m just learning how to use podcasts. I kept getting a loop of episodes 1-3. After I figured out why this was happening, I continued on to 4 and five. The story keeps turning. Just when you think you’ve figured out who’s wearing the white hats or black hats, BOOM the roles are reversed. I certainly hope the series continues.

I Am Echo is thrilling and engaging. Well written and performed. Lots of twists and turns. I finished listening in one sitting. Cannot wait until the next story from this author! Have recommended this to my friends and family.

Was a good premise but the acting is pretty melodramatic, and way too soon as well. There’s no build up so the pacing is off. Also, it seems like whomever wrote this just found out about the meme/saying “main character energy,” and has grown fixated on it. Kathryn mentions it about six times in four episodes. For a person pursuing a PhD and who has had, presumably, a top tier education from the highest academic institutions in the country, you’d think she’d be more versed with a better vocabulary and means to contextualize how she feels. Instead, she appears to “echo” everyone else’s analyses ie immediately repeating her mother’s analogy of the greek myth. All in all, this had potential in plot but is pretty bad. For a similar concept (a child or children uncovering corruption performed by their billionaire parent), a better well written and acted podcast to consider us Wondery’s Bad Blood. That one is much, much better at building up excitement.

Great production value, fair voice acting, okay characters. But the story is kind of weak. Like I get that she has mommy issues but is it even worth getting into? Like does it matter that she killed some people to get what she wanted from the world. She profits from a billion dollar company so like same thing. Plus I wouldn’t confront my homicidal mother who controls the family money, I’d just take her out myself. Carry on the family legacy, you know 🤷🏾‍♀️ it’s giving poor little rich girl tbh.

This is how I love my podcasts to be! I Am Echo is fast paced and intriguing with mystery and science. I LOVE this one. This should be a streaming show!

Great acting but the storyline is all over the place. It is a nice psych thriller though

Very interesting take on DNA, narcissism and psychology with a twilight zone twist. Loved it.
