The Great Triad of British Podcasts
This show is a nice addition to The Delingpod and The Weekly Skeptic. Be gentle on Delingpole. I’m on his team. Toby is fighting the good fight even if he’s a bit spongy on some things (OFCOM). And you are nicely squeezed in the middle, offering comic relief, keeping the triad together. Keep it up. Sincerely, ā€œan American listenerā€.

    Great Work
It seems to me like anyone with an iPhone has a podcast these days. Thus, the quality and value are wide-ranging, to put it charitably. The quality of The Current Thing, based upon my experience listening to a single episode, is high. I discovered Nick's podcast as I have others. He plugged it on The Weekly Sceptic which I discovered after hearing it plugged on London Calling which I discovered after hearing it plugged on.... I listened to the episode on which Nick hosted as his guest Fr. Jamie Franklin, one of the hosts of the Irreverend podcast. It was fantastic. Nick was earnest though not overly serious, endlessly curious and polite. He asked great questions and gave his guest the time required to answer. I learned a great deal and believe, if this episode were representative of those to come, that The Current Thing is well worth your time. Give it a listen.

    Great Interview with Lois Mclatchie
I have been a dyed in the wool pro-life advocate all my life, I found this interview so insightful. It made me realize ( yes, I am American) that if women were really supported by society when faced with an unwanted pregnancy, then abortion would never be needed as a ā€œchoiceā€. We need to find ways to pave the way that both women and unborn children can achieve human flourishing. I enjoy Nick Dixon both on this podcast as well as the Weekly Sceptic. I wish I could voice my anti-woke opinions with the same sense of humor and humility as he is able to do.
