Hope Glenn gets someone like Lee fang, Emily jashinsky, Kim iversen, or Matt taibbi to fill in next time, NOT liar gray please. One can dream, right? And p.s. Nathan Robinson is a hypocrite who will vote Dem for more genocide, as would Chomsky (if he’s able to vote) who was screeching VBNMW the past four yrs. Wouldn’t it be a strange irony if, after chomsky’s wanting to imprison the unvaxxed/vax hesitant, lockdown & smother the world, & mask toddlers, his stroke was caused by the Covid booster? As an independent I appreciate hearing both sides of the issues but just can’t handle being talked down to so arrogantly for such long periods of time. I wish I could get the content without the condescension. Also crediting Obama for covering up the origins of Covid was a bridge too far and exposed his own biases.

Glenn loves to play this antiestablishment role while supporting the new incoming establishment of Peter Theil and the pay pal mafia. He’s a full blown loyalist to rumble witch is funded by Theil. He likes to think that if trump wins he will get closer to trump and his sons. Don’t let Glenn fool you.

I’ve been following Greenwald since Edward Snowden became a whistleblower. He tells it plainly, while standing up to powerful forces who generally hate his guts. Greenwald reports from a principled and ethical perspective, and does the job that we should expect from all good journos, but unfortunately it’s so goddamn rare.

Glenn refuses to look away from uncomfortable facts that most journalists ignore when it comes to the party they represent. A true independent despite great and growing threats

with his viewpoints, his takes. I mostly respect his independence, his integrity when approaching news and politics. 3.5 stars

Glenn doesn’t always get it right, but there is no doubt he’s transparent about his values, methods, and biases towards issues. Most importantly, he is fearless in his reporting about very scary topics. Love you, Glenn and team. You guys are heros!

Glen is sincere, honest, humble and extremely sharp. He can be counted on to give a straight up take on modern world politics he is consistent, insightful and full of the real journalistic integrity that is completely absent in the majority of the media landscape. His reporting is not partisan, and his work truly defends the best ideas of what America strives to be.

I’m not a religious man, but if there is a god then he certainly put Glenn Greenwald here at this precise time and place as countervailing force against the corrupt and greedy sickness engendered by the world’s ruling elite. He is one of the most consistent, principled, well-respected journalists of our time, and in this world of dubious information, Glenn is a touchstone to the fabled “golden age”, when Americans could trust their favorite anchor. I also love Michael Tracey. It’s funny to read the reviews on here from people who don’t feel the same way haha. I see how he might be an acquired taste for some, but man…. That guy is a true journalist as well. Knowledgeable, tenacious, and fearless in his interviews, he gets more out of politicians than would seem possible to do. I consider System Update to be the cornerstone of my well-balanced news diet, and I can’t recommend it enough to people of all nationalities and political persuasions. The news is supposed to be the foundation of a well-informed populace, and it’s supposed to expose the doings of the powerful for the benefit of the powerless. That’s exactly what this show does.

For the love of god, please find another substitute host. 🙏 Briahna Joy Grey was great! Glenn Greenwald is truly a national treasure. One of my favorite shows. I love hearing Glenn’s viewpoint even when we differ in opinion.

Glen is foremost supporter of free speech. Impeccable documentation, researched as no other journalist; the highest regard, the best resource, the highest accolades. Has anyone noticed the new Biden Chief of Staff? When asking who is making decisions…we might try to learn who is Chief of Staff.

Glen, I love your show, and listen daily while I’m at work. I listen to you because you’re honest, you tell it like it is. Any other day you would get five stars, but not today. You obviously don’t support DJT, as I do, but you make it a point to expose the lies that the MSM tell about him on a daily basis. So why?? Why would you go away on vacation, and leave the show in the hands of someone who does exactly what you despise?? Michael Tracy is a hater. He is telling lies and half truths, and in your name. He’s hurting your brand.

Enough said 🤷🏻don’t know why I wasted my time with this. 10 minutes in to the latest episode as a first time listener. Not sure why this guy acts like he reports the truth- all he reports is what favors the right.

Small quibble from today’s podcast. Adam Smith is not a DC congressman. He is from Washington State. Media is often careless with calling DC Washington and obviously sometimes see Washington Congressman and think DC.

I listen to news podcasts from different parties and positions. Glenn Greenwald stands heads and shoulders above them all. In addition to being a brilliant analyst, he also never hesitates to boldly speak from his chest and say what’s true — combine that courage with his uncompromised ethics and the result is truly stunning in this era of careerist snakes & partisan hacks. It amazes me how often he says something I also think but no other podcaster has said or how often he helps me understand something from a fresh, smart perspective. Unbiased. Honest. Ethical. Humble. Brilliant. Subscribe — you’ll be glad you did!

It is one of the few podcasts worth listening to on a daily basis to stay informed.

Mr. Greenwald cannot be fit into a box. The neat little polarizing categories of establishment media and politics cannot handle him. His detractors are precisely from these establishment types (from both "sides"). What makes Glenn remarkable, regardless of whether you "agree" with him, is that he couldn't care less about which group(s) he pleases or displeases. He speaks and acts from his own conscience. Right or wrong, he has heart and a moral compass.

Folks, follow this podcast, download Rumble, read his articles. I honestly cannot believe that you don’t have more followers Glenn, your reporting is absolute FIRE. I love your honest and professional point of view (so rare) and I do NOT agree with you all of the time and that’s what I love about your content. You force me to consider different perspectives. I started listening to Glenn after hearing him on another show where I thought he came off well. He doesn’t come off as well on his own show, unfortunately. Not sure if he’s reading off a script or teleprompter but his voice is very stilted and hard to listen to. I also don’t like that he covers US politics and doesn’t even live here anymore. I find that strange. Listened for a few month but I don’t find myself enjoying the show enough to continue. There are too many great alternatives.

Really look forward to Glen’s podcast. He has a very calm demeanor and reports facts!!!your post debate was spot on. BUT what about Michelle Obama??? Kamala couldn’t complain about her out loud anyway

This program is particularly enjoyable, not be cause I agree with Glen on all the issues, but because of his principled stance on almost everything he reports on... except his interview with Nicole Shanahan. He offered little to any pushback and used kid gloves with his questioning on subjects which he himself has reported on, such as the Israeli government's involvement with spreading propaganda using big tech and censorship. Why wasn't she asked about the employees of Google, the source of her wealth, who were unceremoniously fired via email for ATTENDING a "No Tech for Apartheid" gathering? Her position on Gaza is just as hawkish as Hillary Clinton's. What about Google's involvement with China and its suppression of journalism? I was dismayed by one of my favorite free speech advocates playing Peter Jennings in this interview with the biggest of Big Tech heiresses.

I love most everything you talk about Glenn. I have to say I disagree with you about the Hunter verdict. I am a recovering alcoholic and substance abuser. Had an intervention by my children and family members. Was arrested 3 times for drunk driving as I should have been. I was a menace to my family and society. I can own that today. I’m glad the court did not take away his bottom. My family and children loved me just as much as Joe Biden loves his son. But I can tell you this I would NOT have gotten sober on my own. It took my kids saying they would not be in my life anymore unless I got sober. I went to rehab for 60 days & got sober. No one took that bottom away from me. The court is doing him and his family a favor. He should go to jail. He bought a gun under the influence I believe and that is very dangerous. Just as drunk driving is and you go to jail. No amount of love will take away addiction take it from an alcoholic.

It’s a great news show but his voice is extremely taxing. I guess he can’t help it but it sounds like his mouth is full of cotton balls and saliva and it’s hard to listen to

Glen is always clear and honest and has balanced guests, hes always been strong voice against American foreign wars and the security state, unfortunately he gets the Isreal conflict catastrophically wrong, he has confused Americas involved in that war with Isreals moral duty to destory Hamas, and organization which has pledged to murder all jews in Isreal and then hides behind civilians when they are on the back foot, glen has never even suggested a path forward and quotes Hamas statistics like they come from Heaven

I have been reading Glenn for over 20 years, despite being on the opposite end of the spectrum as he. I never fail to learn something after reading or listening to him. Not only do I enjoy hearing his opinions, but his history, as a litigator, equips him well as an investigative journalist too.

As a relative newcomer to political spaces, I purposely listen to information that I think may challenge my current perspectives. I am always looking for voices who are not echoing (current acceptable talking point).

Far and away the best one I've come across

Glenn Greenwald understands world and US politics better than any other journalist I’ve heard on news programs. It is time well spent listening to his in depth analysis of current events. My only regret is that he doesn’t have time to cover MORE world news. I wish he could clone himself and do MORE reporting.

Glenn speaks for so many of us with his eloquent and witty oratory. He is a voice of sanity in an media landscape that appears to be running more off the rails by the day. Glenn is a champion for the first amendment (arguably the most important) of the Constitution and for our waning democracy. Keep up the good work, we need you!
