    AfterNoona ARMY Podcast Excels!
I’m a comparatively new ARMY, less than 1 year. I’ve been listening the various BTS-centered podcasts including AfterNoona Army. This pod is fun, funny, thoughtful, but the last 2: Episodes: Aug. 28 & Sept. 6, 2023, have sealed the deal for me. Hosts Becky & Lia speak out about decisions V & RM have made which seem in dissonance with the parasocial relationship with ARMY they have worked so hard to build. I’m Grandma ARMY. I LOVE my Boys, All SEVEN. (JK & V bias), but they are each Human, and make mistakes, are imperfect. As are we all. That this pod is honest enough to raise these concerns, (which I agree with), openly, well, my respect is won. Well done.

    Great for fans!
Such a great pod for fans young and old. Really enjoy listening, especially during this hiatus time!

    Brings me so much joy!
Thank you for this podcast! I’m a fairly new BTS, k-pop, and k-drama fan, and absolutely enjoy your deeply appreciative conversations about BTS, their music, and their other activities like art and fashion. Thanks, too, for the tips on where to find them beyond Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.

    My people!
I knew I wasn’t alone in this rabbit hole! So glad to find this podcast of women my age who share this lovely obsession. Eager to move over and enjoy your K-Drama podcast as well (my other obsession). (I’m in the Over 50 Army category but defy your “nobody over 50 has a JK bias” claim. Solid JK bias, Taehyung bias wrecker, with a side of Suga.)

Finally! The only other ARMY I know is a 12 year old!
My daughter introduced me to BTS a little over a year ago on a five hour car ride. It was an immersion program I’ll never forget! 😂 But the way we connect and engage with BTS and ARMY are different. She’s too young to care about origin stories and symbolism. My husband probably wouldn’t appreciate me decorating our bedroom with posters, photo cards and BT21 plushies! The content here is fun and engaging. I’m a detail person so I LOVE a deep dive!

    Good Overview, Excited for More
As someone who is a little (lot) over thirty I got a lot into Korean dramas and a little into Kpop during the pandemic. BTS has been a real comfort and source of joy for me but sometimes I get a lost in all the content. I’m excited for this podcast as I already feel like I am navigating the fandom better after listening to the first few episodes. I’m also quite jealous I didn’t get to see my bias J-Hope in Chicago but I feel like I got to live vicariously.

    My cup of tea
None of my friends are huge K-pop fans…so I’m glad to find my own army! Love listening to these ladies and fan girl out.
