adian1First steps…Nancy’s podcast & email updates…and especially her “Camino Frances Getting Started Audio Guide” were all extremely helpful in getting me started on my first Camino. They helped me go from just dreaming about the Camino to actually buying my flights & hitting the trail! If you are dreaming about walking the Camino this is a great place to start. Thank you Nancy!

Pilgrim from SCInspiration & InformationMy husband & I have been listening to Nancy’s podcast for months - along with tons of YouTube videos, books, Facebook groups & articles on the Camino. By far & away, Nancy’s podcast has been the most valuable resource as we prepare to walk our first Camino in just six months!

elrandoThe Best Camino InformationSimply the Best! I’ve listened to numerous podcasts about and from the Camino de Santiago, but nothing compares to the one produced by Nancy Reynolds. In preparation for my Pilgrimage in August 2025, I have been reading and listening to all the information I can about the 800 km walk. As I do my training walks, I listen to Nancy’s interviews with first-time Pilgrims preparing for their walks, recently returned Pilgrims, insightful messages from seasoned travelers and Nancy’s experienced recommendations and information. Anyone who is going (or even thinking of going) on the Camino de Santiago journey needs to spend time with Nancy Reynolds and her, YOU on the Camino de Santiago.

KeladaviGreat for preparationI felt like I was thoroughly prepared for my first Camino from Tui to Santiago in May 2024 after listening to Nancy’s podcast. So much good practical information. Now I listen to the podcast to re-live the enthusiasm of first-timers and those who have completed their Camino. I’m dreaming of my next Camino on the Portuguese in September. Buen Camino!

Pastor Rich CC3CWalking in June &JulyMy Daughter in-law will be walking the Francis in June & July and this podcast has helped prepare me for this adventure. I listen to the podcast each morning on my training walk, as the open music plays I imagine my walks on the Camino. Buen Camino

M45typAI voiceThis voice sounds AI generated. So phony. And she is making money playing on people’s fears. Not at all in the Camino spirit.

AlisonawEverything you need to know!Fantastic podcast - detailed information on everything from transportation to foot care. Any question you might have, chances are Nancy Reynolds has already been there and has the answers. I really appreciate her format which provides in depth information on the options for most topics so you can make the choice that best suits you. She mixes it up with interviews of pilgrims both planning and just completing their first Caminos, and her own talks on specific topics like how to get to your starting point, albergues or hotels, footwear and care, meals, luggage transport and more. I feel far more confident about my planning, training and ability to pull it off! Nancy is gracious and caring and wants everyone to have a buen camino. Mine will be better for having listened to her podcast.

Maurice FrankEssential for First-Time Camino PilgrimsWow! If you are planning your first Camino like I am, then run, don’t walk, to your favorite podcast player and subscribe, then binge this show hosted by Nancy Reynolds. Nancy is a veteran of many Caminos, and a guide for first-time pilgrims. I’m a fan of many other excellent Camino podcasts, but You On The Camino is unique because it focuses on the needs and experiences of first-time pilgrims, and it could not be better at this. There are two kinds of episodes: instructional explanations of all things a pilgrim must know to plan and prepare for walking, and first-person interviews with pilgrims who are about to walk their first Camino. There are even some follow up episodes with previous pilgrim guests after they completed their walk. Both kinds of episodes are full of helpful advice by Nancy. Her website supplements the podcasts with many informative pages. The sound design is excellent, and the episodes are concise and not too long. There are no ads or long intros that delay getting to the main topic. This is an outstanding podcast, and I highly recommend it.
