Olbermann has been sounding like a broken record for months. Endless personal grudges. Every episode is polls polls polls, fire him/her/them and mind-numbing prattle about exes and dogs and Things He Has Told 3-5 times. The insightful commentary isn’t worth all the excess garbage.

Keith, thanks to you, American history will have all the irony, clarity and insanity of this era to understand how we survived… laughing it all away.

Mr. Olbermann, I understand what you are experiencing regarding Kit, and my deepest empathy for you and Kit. It is a terrible thing to have a pet/companion/fur baby that is still a pup or kitten and find they have a serious illness. I can only imagine how the animal feels (and yes, I do believe they have feelings, for the naysayers). I especially know what a person with an animal, young or older, that has a serious illness and the amount of time they may have left with us is unknown. The unknown and empathy for the poor animal is what causes we humans to have an exorbitant amount of anxiety, stress, empathy and compassion for the little one. I do applaud you ( though I am sure you haven’t given your audience a heads up of you upcoming schedule) for putting Kit first. As he should be. You are an amazing person. Thank you for your podcast. Enough journalism, humor, and righteous outrage to assure me he is paying attention and bothers to say something when he sees something. He’s been around forever and is one of the good ones. This is one of those podcasts I do not skip in favor of anything else. There isn’t another podcast that tolls the bell for both grief and glee like Countdown does. Thanks to KO for hanging in there.
