Sorry but Lizzie is killing it for me. She’s spaced out, confused, wrong notes, bizarre thoughts. Just not good. Sorry Lizzie, I’m sure you’re a great person but you’re not a good podcaster.

I am a big fan of Podcastica and the shows they cover and I wish I could give 5 stars but Lizzie is making it unbearable to listen anymore and honestly it’s baffling that her rants about nothing, her talking over and interrupting others who know the assignment and doing it brilliantly are allowed and not edited out because it’s driven me away and I see I’m not alone in this opinion. What is she bringing that I’m missing here? Why did I spend 5 full minutes hearing about her rewatch routine down to the time it happened!? Sorry but having the time to watch 7 times doesn’t make her good at this and it’s actually a weird flex. Please put her on her own show to feed her ego and let her ramble on outside of the amazing shows she’s ruining.

There are very few From podcasts and these folks are obviously doing their best to give us something. I’ve gotten used to their quirks. My biggest issue is the mixing of interviews with the recap. It’s incredibly cringey and awkward. If this is going to be every episode now, I just can’t keep listening.

Lizzie audio cuts out. I’m glad that they are covering the show. This is not the best podcast. Lizzie goes off topic.

I agree with almost everyone’s complaints. One more thing to add that I didn’t see, please for the love of God update Lizzie’s audio equipment. It glitches out, is hard to hear. Especially when the hosts are talking over each other. Edit- Pls watch each episode twice before commenting on them

You have one of the stars of the show for 30 minutes and the female host spends 20 of those minutes on some nonsensical rant about Canadian railroads? Just so disrespectful of the talent and the listeners.

Please escort Lizzie off this podcast . She is super annoying and brings no value to the show . She goes off on to many irrelevant topics . She interrupts Alex and is so condescending towards him. Her voice is super annoying to me now. Get a new co host that doesn’t have that Kamala Harris vibe .

Was hoping this podcast would be good, but this lizzy chick just goes on and on and on. She does not know how to take notes and structure a show, her partner has so much patience, she is the downfall of this podcast I can’t even listen to a full episode, u have to skip through her parts to get through it. She think every single line of dialogue means something. Like come on this is one of the worst pods I’ve ever listened to due to her incompetence

Was really excited to find a From Pod, and really enjoyed it at first but it’s kinda taken a dive. Alex seems to try to keep everything structured and moving but Lizzy doesn’t care. If people are listening a pod reviewing the previous episode, it’s safe to assume the listener has recently seen the episode. She doesn’t need to do extremely detailed play by play, which includes doing all the characters dialogues like she’s reading the script (and please god don’t do the voices). Hoping that they are just being more relaxed since they are going back to older seasons and will get more structured when new episodes of from come out, but this is getting rough

Love the show and tried to enjoy the podcast but Lizzie talks WAY too much and often goes off on a personal tangent that has nothing to do with the subject being discussed. Alex is patient - far too patient in my opinion - because the thread of the conversation is often lost. I’ll keep listening unless Lizzie keeps trying to steal the show. But it could be SO MUCH BETTER if Alex had a different partner.

The hosts clearly hate each other and each one thinks the other is quite stupid. Lizzie is often both condescending and wrong while being dismissive of Alex’s gentle corrections. This makes for a podcast that’s entertaining while also being a poor companion to the show. Kudos to Alex for his patience with Lizzie, it’s not all on him that the show is bad…

Am a long time loyal listener to podcastica network. Network has several consistent approaches to podcast that I love. 1) balanced review of content & facts 2) respectful & inclusive with their listeners & their feedback 3) fun entertaining experience. 4) hosts are passionate fans of unique deeper content. This podcast started that way but something went off rails in 2nd half of season 2. Big shame because not much podcast coverage of FROM. Just when show is getting more complicated this podcast has turned amateurish. Rambling. Disrespectful of each other as well as ppl supplying feedback. And when they post their live discussion impossible to follow bc responding to content only they can view/hear. But worse of all after constructive attempts to make them aware they choose to spend their podcast voicing their victimization to listener feedback. First podcastica content I have had to quit but can’t continue investing time & energy into ppl who don’t want to publish a good product. Shame bc what I love about podcastica is it is a network of passionate fans who embrace unique niche shows like FROM. This is my first ever negative podcast review but have sent them constructive supportive feedback directly and their choice is to say things like “I can’t say xyz bc I’ll get a mean email” so sad. Alex & Lizzie feel free to go back to reading ur listener email with condescending & disrespectful voices I won’t be calling u out-you win u drove this loyal subscriber away. Good luck with that model.

Passion for the show lead me to find this podcast, but I don’t feel the same energy from the hosts. They often get confused when retelling/referencing episodes. Lizzie sometimes goes on a tangent of a misremembering of a scene and has to be corrected by her co-host, and the tangent was irrelevant. I mean no unkindness toward Lizzie, but I think she should consume the source material more thoroughly. I made it four episodes in before leaving this and looking for another From podcast.

I was late to the party on From and now I’m so happy to have this amazing backlog of podcasts to listen to. The interviews are fantastic. Love listening to you two.

I love this show so much and the podcast is a perfect companion. Lizzie & Alex do a real deep dive into each episode and I love listening to their theories and interpretations. You can tell they thoroughly prepare for each episode and truly care about the show. Thank you for all you do for the fromily! Your podcast never fails to brighten my day.

Just a reminder…. His mom tried to kill him and Boyd had to kill her, afterwards, Ellis moved to colony house, Fatima arrived after that and just like he mentioned on his proposal, he saw her drive for hours until she got out to ask for directions. More than likely they have been together for more than 2 months. Love to hear you argue with each other while breaking down the episodes :)

I literally had to stop halfway through the episode to make sure I took my adderall because I had no idea what the host, Lizzie, was talking about it. It’s like she literally has to say every single thought that pops into her head no matter how irrelevant or repetitive and Alex is just kinda there. Could not finish the first episode and have no desire to give another episode a chance

Love the show and went looking for a podcast for my long commute. I want so bad to love it but I find Lizzie a tough listen, she frequently goes off the rails with nothing to do about the show. I don’t care to hear about her search for an apartment or ancestors or her sister that doesn’t like her. Alex does an admirable job trying to keep the podcast in subject.

I think From gives me serious Wayward Pines vibes. Just because it’s a closed off town with a Lovecraftian nightmare outside. But it also reminds me a lot of Yellowjackets with the symbol and things being craved on trees. So, they couldn’t hacksaw that piece of rebar from Kelly? I was hoping they would save her so the monsters would communicate with her through the rebar. Instead they just killed her. Maybe her screams upon seeing Boyd was seeing her death. She should have asked for a hacksaw. And why can’t a bus filled with people move that tree in the street and bypass this? And is it Farway tree or Faraway Tree? I hear some actors say one version but the CC says another. As far as plot, I would love for it to be like The Endless, that an Old One is looking over anything. But it probably won’t be that. Hopefully it isn’t all a dream. Ugh.

Lizzie needs to stop her constant interrupting. Not only does she keep interrupting Alex, but then she rambles on and on. She is argumentative and dismissive of his opinions and his attempts to keep the podcast on track. I wanted to rate this with 5 stars, but as it is, I couldn’t even finish listening to one full podcast. I rated it a 3 instead of 0 because of Alex’s ability and patience and, of course, the excellent show it podcasts about (From). Please, producers of the podcast, demand a much more cooperative style from her or replace her with another cohostess

I was home sick recently and that gave me the chance to binge From and this awesome Podcastica podcast. I’m loving the show of course, but I really love how much this podcast (and Alex and Lizzie’s thoughtful and entertaining analysis and commentary) enhances my enjoyment of this show. I haven’t been this intrigued about the universe of a show and the mysteries surrounding it since LOST. Alex & Lizzie frequently point out excellent Easter eggs I overlooked and their recent episodes interviewing cast members have been so much fun to listen to. Totally recommend!

Totally 💯 invested as we move forward to new characters and mysteries unravel!

This is okay. Not a lot of podcasts covering From. I wish the hosts would watch the show more carefully. One host has watched the entire season, the other only one episode. Information is being jumbled between both hosts. Considering this season has aired, I would recommend watching the whole season then dissect each episode one at a time. Also, taking time to examine the various theories fans have come up with would also be enjoyable. Keep up with the show!
