I can sleep at night, listening to forensics files. It puts me to sleep like a story time but an exciting story time. and I like hearing the stories about criminals being caught in the way they catch them.

My favorite voice to put me to sleep…soothing and calm. This has the effect of a bedtime story on a child. Interesting but not excitable. Rest assured, the problem will be solved and the culprit caught. And I sleep happily ever after.

Why do so many podcasts feel that an overly affected, odd voice is better than someone who can tell us the story without getting in the way? Is this guy a Shakespearean actor? Is he half British? Annoying and distracting.

I have listened to both podcasts and I absolutely love them!

I loved the old show as a podcast but it suddenly stopped. There was 1 new episode about James Brown,nothing new, not even any repeats.

This classic show is surprisingly great as a podcast. They listened to feedback and cut down on the ads, where it’s the right amount now. Thank you for giving us some quick episodes. I hope we get more!

I have been an avid fan of the original Forensic Files show and podcast for many years. This show, however, is being removed from my subscriptions. The narrator completely distracts from the story. Such a disappointment.

The obvious bias the show hosts display for white criminals vs Black accused is amazing, but not surprising. low class whites always suffer through unfortunate circumstances or addictions, yet Blacks are just flat out criminals, according to these clowns. Typical.

I just want to listen to crime podcast, not the same bias political commercials over and over and over.

Love the story’s, however the same ad over and over again makes it almost unbearable to listen to.

Ooof. What a yucky experience, though not surprising. Seems the producers of this podcast are the same old dinosaur Boomer TV companies that are dying everyday because they failed to adapt to what consumers want these days. It’s such dumb thinking - “let’s make a 20 minute show and cram with the same ad every 3-4 minutes!” How is this a good experience for either us, the listeners, or the poor companies whose ads are being over saturated to the point of supreme annoyance. Not a good brand association! Plus, this is produced by CNN, who I really don’t want to give any of my money or time or mindshare. We see you CNN.

This show translates surprisingly well to podcast form. Always an interesting story, and I’m quick to listen when I see it pop up in my feed.

A TV program put to audio. At times there is no “visual” to reference, which becomes annoying if that is a key part of the case. Not sure what happened with the numbering scheme on the episodes. I wish there were more new episodes; some have been pilfered from the last podcast series.

This is a well done professional show

Peter Thomas is the GOAT, but the storylines and layout of the show still makes it worthwhile.

Producers don’t remember that listeners if podcasts are not the same as viewers of the show. Referring to things that one cannot see is annoying. And the same reason I stopped watching the show: the ads every 3 minutes

Yes, Forensic Files II doesn't have Peter Thomas' classic naration. BUT the new narrator is fine, and I enjoy the compact nature of the show - it doesn't drag on to get to an hour on TV.

He doesn’t deserve the flack. But the show’s curse is that they had the absolute master of true crime narration in their first run. I was open minded going in, even excited, but very quickly I just couldn’t stand listening to the new guy. If you didn’t watch/listen to the first run, this show is probably fine. If you did but you also enjoy this, power to you. But if Peter Thomas was a huge part of the FF experience for you, you’re not gonna like what you hear.

I’ve always enjoyed Forensic Files. So glad they resurrected it.

The same as plays 4 or 5x during a 20-minute episode. It’s too much and insulting. The narrator sounds so fake and his cadence is off. The story has the drama, not the narrator. It’s like he is reading each script for the first time. His pauses are off and it often sounds like he is surprised the sentence continues. I unsubscribed from this podcast. It’s sad because the original was a gem.

It’s a 20 minute show with 4-5 commercial breaks, and it’s the same annoying commercial. I can’t just let it play while I get stuff done because I’m constantly skipping that same 30 seconds of grating voice.

You people are too much! The narrator is fine! Fast forward the ad! Geez! Or go produce your own show.

This guy’s voicework is so overdone-he reads the script with a bizarre false formality which sounds very disingenuous. Ugh. Ruins this show.

The content of the show is good but they play the same awful ad repeatedly throughout the episode. Change up the ads! You’re just making us hate the thing you’re advertising.

I know the old narrator died, so it’s not the same. The new guy tried too hard on the first episode but soon finds the right balance. Newer cases means new forensic methods.

To anyone who is wondering why the narrator of the show is different the man who originally did it passed away 🙏🏽. So don’t give the new guy too much flack 😂

Please bring back the narrator from the first Forensic Files. This narrator completely ruins the stories. I listened to every single episode of the first one in just a couple weeks, however, I won’t be continuing with this series.

The same ad plays and so often that it interferes with the enjoyment of the show. I think the show itself is good, but I have unfollowed it because I can’t hack listening to the ads played ad nauseam.
