mtdsmomFinally good Information!!I wish I had all this information when I was in my 20s… this podcast and the doors it opens to all the guests is such a huge wealth of useful information! Yes, it’s about menopause but it talks about so much more other important topics no one talks about!!! So glad I found it!

meg_mbMy favorite meno/midlife podcastDr Streicher is a no nonsense, tell it like it is doc. I appreciate her experience and candor and her intolerance for the gender disparity in healthcare. The book she wrote and provided to her patients prior to their life altering hysterectomies to educate and empower them speaks to type of physician she is. I look forward to her new content and any time I hear her collaborating with any of her meno-posse colleagues is a bonus! Thank you Dr S!

Tina DesWhy women gain weight in menopauseThank for your short, information packed podcast. Can’t wait for part 2. This is definitely me. Question I’m on transdermal Estradiol patch .025mg. I was on .05 but decreased because of bloating. Can you please do a podcast on Estradiol dosing?

SFLizzieBThe medical expert we all need at midlife!Dr. Streicher’s podcast should be mandatory listening for every woman going through menopause. I love how she breaks down and explains complex medical issues and symptoms. She’s a huge advocate of educating women about their bodies and finding solutions. I really wish I would’ve found her sooner in my Perimenopause journey.

ParterarossPerfect blend of expert and personalI am so happy I discovered your podcast! I am a NAMS certified menopause provider, and I am super passionate about all things menopause, as are you. I am also 50 years old and in the midst of peak perimenopause. I listen to other podcasts by excellent doctors in the field, who are not yet perimenopausal or menopausal, and while I love their information, they don’t have the personal experience to share - yet. I know you really know what this transition feels like, and I appreciate your blend of expertise, personal stories, and humor so much. 🙏

gamyamyLaurenStreicherLove these! Can you address the benefits of hormone replacement/bio identical in post-menopausal women? I’m 65, and you delivered my kids many years ago!

MegganB-1Awesome educational podcastThank you, thank you for this podcast. I am 50 and am in Menopause. Educational materials are hard to find! Thank you for being my go-to resource for science based facts. Highly recommend! What do you recommend for a 51 year old woman who has a tester one level of 15? I am currently doing pellet therapy. Is there something else you would recommend? Thank you for your help! Meggan in Nebraska

StashuPendowskiHot DocGreat information explained in a clear way. One of the many helpful podcasts on menopause I pass on to my patients. Listen despite her bazar cover. Not a fan of her showcasing her skinny self while drinking a cocktail. Strange image for a menopause provider! Esp with the new information of the dangers of alcohol. But with that caveat- a good resource.
-
nalyn7121Very Informative!I hope you could also upload topic of HRT on post menopausal women with fibroids. Thank you.
-
L Anne2981Highly informative and entertaining!I recently found this podcast, and am going back to the beginning and enjoying listening to every single episode! Dr. Streicher shares a wealth of menopause knowledge and has a refreshingly sex positive attitude. She provides the perfect combination of no nonsense information, compassion, personal anecdotes, and humor. Thank you for this Dr. Streicher!

LauraR53ProlapseI had complete organ prolapse at 36 right after my third baby in 2003 I was 5’7 135 lbs. Not your typical candidate I went to my gyno and had a hysterectomy. Then my bladder fell. Went to a urologist and had that “tied up” When my rectum fell soon after I finally got to the right doctor and saw a urogynecologist . He finally diagnosed me correctly and I had a third surgery in two years and he fixed it all. It’s been 19 years and the mesh he used is still holding strong. I am thankful I finally found the right doctor but it took me advocating for myself and searching for the right solution. Same thing happened when I had horrible menopause symptoms. I didn’t give up until I found answers. HRT helped me immensely (I’m still looking for the answer to losing the 10lbs I gained! ) I think the biggest thing about maintaining good health is doing research for yourself and not stopping until you find a doctor that is willing to help you find the answers.

CedmooNever Boring yet InformativeIt’s getting harder to sort through the misinformation ads on on social media targeted to perimenopause ppl and beyond so fortunately for us Dr Streicher is here to educate and empower. So much to learn from her episodes and appreciate that she’s continually educating herself to keep her listeners up to date with the current knowledge.
-
Nastia006Great source of knowledge. As a physician I often have the same discussions about menopause with my patients. Like many other docs I have trouble explaining to my patients in lay terms some complexities of the menopause without making myself too wordy or “dry”. Dr Streicher has a talent for this and that is why I am in awe with her work and podcasts. Evidence- based and straight to the point!
-
ryderkateBEST podcast you will find on menopauseEvery personal opinion backed up with evidence OR logic based on other research! I trust the podcast more than any other because… No ads! No “sponsorships” ONLY CITED research based advice!!!! I learn so much with every episode - it’s like free doctor visits to the best experts in the field. THANK YOU for taking the time to do this podcast for women who don't have an expert that can not only diagnose but also explain BOTH the diagnosis AND treatment options so simply AND thoroughly.
-
Audrey E FExcellent podcast! As always, Dr. Streicher provides the most accurate and up-to-date information in a relatable and lighthearted way. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone wanting to learn about the changes that occur around the time of menopause or to those going through perimenopause or menopause themselves (basically everyone)!
-
TheLadiByrdThank youuuuuu 🙏🏾👍🏾Finally!!!!! I feel validated. I know I’m not crazy!!! I have struggled and stumbled through my 40s into my now 50s and not one doctor gave me even %1 of this information. I will be sharing this with every female friend that I have…INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Jason1078Not Just for Women!I overheard my wife listening to this podcast the other day and found myself drawn in by Dr. Streicher’s engaging energy and the cascade of information that left me thinking everyone - not just women - but men with menopausal women in their lives - should listen! Surprisingly entertaining, this podcast is not only chock full of useful, easy to understand information and expert insight, with every episode I feel like I’m becoming a better, more informed partner.

MJ@ChiFinally! Frank talk about menopauseI’m a woman in my 50’s and the things I don’t know about my own body…don’t get me started. But that’s about to change. The straight talk about menopause from Dr. Streicher is more than I could have hoped for. Thank you! I’m listening…!
