Jcw74Do not have Danielle host againAfter listening to this podcast for the first time, I’m not quite sure I will come back. I listened to the email nurture/roast episode that Danielle hosted. Someone needs have her listen to that episode and focus to how she speaks and her limited, juvenile vocabulary and voice. I felt like I was listening to a 14-year-old Valley girl which made me question the validity and credibility of what was said and presented, with the exception of the guests who were clearly subject matter experts. Danielle‘s vocabulary of “super cool“ more than a handful, “awesome!“ and “cool,” and variations of these phrases undercut the credibility of every other marketer out there. She made the field of marketing, and women, sound like elementary school arts and crafts.

nbsfmcDoes not add valueHe gets good guests, but he’s still learning the absolute basics. Makes you wonder how he’s qualified to be a CMO. Seems like the CEOs he’s worked for do all the work, a la Drift, and he spends his time babbling about being great at “brand.” It’s baffling how many people listen to this.

JJkollinsWayyy too many ads! Can’t stand it, every 5 min

AdarcusMust listen for all marketers!Dave Gerhardt and his talented guests talk all things marketing, giving you the tools you need to get hands-on with your business. The best part is these tools come from fascinating people who have been where you are and want to see you succeed. Thanks so much for putting out such a spectacular show with Exitfive - keep up the great work!

mirianielMy go-to commute podcastEvery episode of Exit 5 has been interesting, thought-provoking, and valuable to my work. I find myself leaving the office and heading straight for the Exit 5 page to listen to the newest episode on my way home - I cannot overstate how much this podcast has given me new ways of thinking about B2B marketing. It’s a must listen for anyone getting their feet underneath them in the field. Thank you Dave!

MattPaigeShort list of must listen marketing podcastsMust listen podcast for anyone in marketing, plus anyone not in marketing who wants the inside baseball on how to do it the right way

AustinjfB2B MarketingDave’s main message is that no one goes to school for B2B marketing. That’s certainly true for me, and I’m not sure going to school for it would actually help. There’s been more change in marketing in the past five years then in the previous couple of decades. Dave does a great job of keeping his audience engaged and informed while brining on great guests. Was really looking forward to the launch of this podcast and is a top recommendation to my colleagues.

ConnectWithPabloSharp. Relevant. Actionable.DG has a way to bring up viewpoints and tactics that make you say, “DUH! I feel like I knew this all along and somehow hadn’t connected these dots.” It makes listening to this podcast is like listening to that mentor that makes you feel like you’re the one coming up with your own solutions. Check it out for yourself.
