Sheilaa A.SheilaReimagining love! Alexandra I love your work and all the powerful tools you have taught to use in my personal relationships and in the work I do with clients as a therapist! FOO work has been part of my practice for a while and in the most recent years your work along with Vienna’s has equipped me with so much knowledge and awareness.

AmyElizabeth17Todd cast 1 and 2Todd cast 1 (I thought I hit send a while ago but apparently not!) What a joy to hear Alexandra and Todd share their lives, personalities, marital ups and downs, and keen self-awareness with such articulateness and mutual respect. Todd presents so well with a disarmingly honest and solid love for Alexandra while recognizing rough patches, imperfections, and continued challenges like we all have in our lives. I love how heady and analytical these two are, and how they talk to each other with a vital connectedness. My favorite was the story about the day Todd heard the first episode of this podcast. Thank you, Todd, for reminding us of how much there is we can all do to shine a light on our loved ones. I would like to write another review— not sure why my first one is still above —but here goes: Dr. Solomon is so, so on point and amazing that I am grateful to listening every Tuesday morning for each of her new podcasts. I wish I could have had these three or four decades ago! Such a public service to all of us, many thanks to you for putting all your good work in our lives. Todd cast 2 Okay, clone Todd— what a thoughtful/analytical/ self-aware/articulate guy dedicated to family and love in all ways.

meeranatorHow to get closure after a break upJust caught up on this episode and wanted to say thank you for confirming the things I have historically done after a break up. As harsh as it has felt to do so, disconnecting with previous romantic partners has saved me in so many ways (mentally, emotionally, etc) and I know myself to not be able to handle “just being friends” and the ambiguity of it all despite the advice I receive from others to just play it cool. Thank you for helping normalize self-preservation.

hikergirltWe love AlexandraMy husband and I both enjoy and learn so much from Reimagining Love. We’ve been listening darn near since the beginning. Alexandra breaks the dynamics down to make content easy to understand. She explains her own life experiences which are so relatable and isn’t afraid to tell us listeners of her own *f ups*. She’s not at all intimidating as she coaches you through life with her compassionate voice of wisdom and care. We highly recommend her podcast.

Margo Hikes A LotThe best relationship podcast ever!Oh Alexandra. What you have done for me. I’ve been listening to you for a year. Played every podcast. And shared sooooo many of them with friends. Your lessons and research are now part of the voices in my head as I enter a new phase of life. Your wisdom has helped me be more relational as I transitioned out of a long term marriage several years ago, worked on my relationship with my kids and their father, as I began dating and now as I enjoy a new long term and very loving relationship. I recommend you to everyone!!! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.

MichellegelBreathes empathy, compassion, and candorThis podcast is what Dr. Solomon would say… “delicious”. I truly look forward to each podcast episode that comes out weekly. Each episode is well-thought out, universally relatable, and feels like a warm hug. While these podcasts are not therapy (I have my own therapist that I’ve been seeing for almost 4 years now), it feels like another tool to add to my tool box. I highly recommend this podcast… so much so that this is my first time writing a podcast review!
-
NYC is homeThoughtful and clearWell thought-out episodes but the two recent ones on relational ambivalence are especially interesting and helpful.

redheadclub2Helps with More than Just Intimate relationshipsAll of what Dr Solomon discusses is equally applicable across many relationships. She is helping me to dive into my family history as a child, with my spouse, and my adult children to explore how we can improve our family dynamics. How did we arrive at where we are today? How can I change how I interact with my family for positive outcomes? How do you get over the hurt/pain of prior encounters? The importance of learning new skills to improve conversation. Recognizing that I can only control my actions and my reactions can impact/control outcomes……..I can’t control others. She is so patient and able to tease out, synthesize challenging topics so that they make sense with practical applications and examples. I wish I had found her much earlier in my life. She is significantly changing how I am in my relationships and how I think when I engage with others.
-
Erin KMOne of the best psychology/relationship podcasts everI am not exaggerating with this title. Dr. Solomon’s podcast has consistently offered my deeper insights into myself and how I relate to others. I am currently single and still reap major benefits - this is not just for couples. With every episode I feel a deepened awareness of myself and others which expands my capacity to hold nuance and have more authentic, thriving connections. Cannot recommend this podcast enough. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us, Dr. Solomon! Endless gratitude for sharing your gentleness, and brilliant ability to tap into nuances and various perspectives. You are simply brilliant!

d-roll-oneCompassionate and helpful adviceDr. Solomon uses science and data and her experience and expertise to tease apart the questions and issues that we have about love. She is so compassionate and non-judgmental and stays far away from a one size fits all approach. Highly recommend!
