yogahawkSo GoodThis latest episode about the fitness test brought back memories of my kids doing “fitness” tests and my own experiences trying to climb a rope. I hope more and more people listen to this podcast and learn as much as I have. This is just such a valuable resource.

Retired Registered DietitianExcellent case studyDr. Ed and Liz did a great job of presenting the story of Zoya, showing the complexity of addressing the factors that help and hinder caring for those with eating disorders. It is clear that Dr. Ed and his team have embraced the patient-centered model of care, taking into account all aspects of the patient, not just the physical, and that is what makes all the positive difference. Kudos!

judes27Episode 10 *My Amazing Big Sister, Christie Roberts*Hi All - As you can deduce from the title, I am Christie’s little sister, Judy. There’s a few reasons why I’ve decided to write a review: 1) My Sister!! She is AMAZING in every way and in everything she does (sister, mom, grandmother, teacher, coach, speaker, friend, confidant, and she can pour out the strongest, heartfelt prayer at the drop of a hat)! She’s also beautiful, loving, funny, giving, & extremely smart!! I am so very proud of my sister…for taking her 1st step, for understanding and accepting that a change is needed, for being strong and enduring all the traumatic emotions, for remembering and working through memories, for being open and sharing her story, and, most importantly-for doing what needs to be done TO LIVE! (I love you, my Sistie) 2) Give thanks!! THANK YOU to everyone who worked on/spoke in the podcast, aids people w/ EDs, and all of my sister’s and others’ supporters! 3) To say - If you hv an ED, it’s ok….YOU ARE IMPORTANT & YOU ARE LOVED!!! Please speak up, ask for help b/c YOU MATTER!!!

$im1!Educational & HopefulI love this duo! Liz and Ed are wonderful story tellers. The case studies they use provide a practical framework for understanding a variety of issues. They make medicine/ science accessible and fascinating. I always come away from this podcast understanding something new and feeling more hopeful about eating disorder treatment.

TurtleemtpHonestyHaving worked in the medical field I had to learn to be honest with the people I came in contact with. I like that Dr. Tyson tells his patients the truth. Most people don’t want to hear the truth. My therapist says, by saying the truth, she is planting a seed. And for the patient in this episode, Dr. Tyson had planted the seed that she needed to do theses things to live. Some may not realize how powerful that is, it was powerful enough to save her life. Great story and great podcast!
