I love listening to your podcast so much I went back to the first one and have been listening to them in order since the beginning. I love the one about creepy things kids say. I have three kids and they have said and done some creepy things lol.

Those who say this podcast is boring, it’s everything but that. Cynthia Seer and her co-host have a gift of calming you down and relaxing your mind, not just this autumn season, but at anytime, especially in the evenings if you want to get cozy, turn on your lamplight, pour a glass of wine or some hot tea, and just allow yourself to get lost in another relaxing world.

This podcast is a great listen! The hosts inform you conversationally like you are hanging out at a cafe and chatting along. It feels very comfortable and great to listen on their car rides. They do not take it too seriously which is the charm. If you want a fun and friendly approach to the supernatural, this is your podcast!

I’ve been listening to the True Hauntings podcast for several months now. I appreciate the show’s variety—-reader submitted stories, selections from Cynthia’s writing, listing haunted places in every state, the list goes on. Both hosts have personal experiences with ghosts, which adds to the authenticity of the podcast. Keep up the good work! Phyllis

I have been listening to Cindy for two years now. She is sweet and entertaining. Her and Kat actively and genuinely interact with us fans on facebook in the group which is so fun!

The narrator sounds like she got chosen to read in class. It’s sounds like she’s reading verbatim from something for the first time. She stumbles over her words and cannot pronounce ANY subject or location the story is based on so clearly she hasn’t researched anything about them or practiced anything. Which is a shame because she’s got great ideas for submissions story telling. Thumbs down

My dad was born in 1938. His birthday was misprinted as well. He was born on November 20 (not too long after midnight) but his doctor wrote November 19. Lol it was probably a long night…. But he kept to the 19th as his birthday.

I found out about your podcast from my good friend Lia…who works with you. I listened to one and have been hooked ever since.I wish I was a listener before the contest to Nanny’s house. Hard pass. I’ve only listened to one episode but I imagine these issues are podcast-wide unless there are multiple writers. This author has a great deal of difficulty writing dialogue both in the sense that the characters speak in cliches and in not understanding how to structure character conversations. The author also regularly head hops. The episode listened to (102), contained entire scenes from the husband’s perspective that did not add to the story and ruined the tension necessary for the genre. All of this combined was so distracting that I could hardly focus on the story.

I equally enjoy the true stories from listeners and fictional stories by the narrator. Well done!

Cynthia is an amazing story writer and narrator. I love her outlook on all things spooky. The real story of her Nana’s house is so awesomely creepy. Keep spookin Cindy.

Okay so I love spooky podcast but there are times where I don’t want to listen to an interview or a story with sound effects. And I want to hear true accounts as well. I listen to podcasts falling asleep and like not being startled by a creepy sound! So thank you 👻

Love listening week over week to the stories you write and getting to learn about different paranormal stuff. Y’all are so great together that it feels like I’m hanging out in the living room having a good time with y’all!

Host, Cindy, is good. Stories are good. New co-host laughs too much and not my favorite. Overall, show is too chatty and non-chalant, which takes away from any thrill the story may have.

I know most people like the vibes of fictional scary stories but there is just something about hearing raw stories from listeners or personal experiences and then having a conversation about it. I love how this podcast definitely captures that. I wish it was some more ! Great people.

I was hoping for something more “suspenseful” but it felt kinda Highschool-ish and to giggly.. Best of luck though y’all seem to be having fun!

I came across your podcast looking for some spooky stories i can listen on my way to work. I love how you have varieties and most of them are from peoples experience. I almost finish the series and loving each one of it.

Idk if it’s just a glitch on my end but in several, repeating a line read, was unfortunately irritating. I finally had to turn off one bc she would read a line then read it again.. read and then repeat a few words or two several several times.. restarted podcast once and it still did it in same spots eek..

This pod was recommended to me by one of my favorite pods. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard them mention St. Augustine. But “Shaheena’s Story” gutted me. GUTTED ME!

If you want to hear about her grandma’s haunted house in every episode, then you found the prefect podcast. Don’t get me wrong, the backstory is super interesting; however you don’t need to explain it to every person that comes onto the show. This podcast has potential, but needs a rework. Get people that are actually interested in the paranormal and have a structure outline of what topics your covering. If your going to talk about a movie, provide a description of the movie.

I was excited to have an informative paranormal podcast to listen to. Then the host chose to go on about how she’s atheist. While that is her choice, who is it that gets the desperate call for help when demons have overtaken a person or home? It’s not pastor Bob or ghostbusters, but a Catholic priest. The paranormal investigators I’ve seen wear crucifixes, use holy water, and have an exorcist (priest) they know if needed.

This has to be my favorite paranormal podcast. Friendly folks talking about a range of topics makes this entertaining, and comfortable - except when it gets creepy. :) I recommend this without reservation.
