Nick and Amy are the creators and owners of the Ultimate Intimacy App and brand. They have been married over 22 years and have 4 kids, 3 dogs, and share their own life experiences and trials that have helped them transform their own relationship. They are on a mission to help couples not just survive in marriage, but thrive in marriage.

Go somewhere else for advice

This is an extremely harmful podcast and if you are coming here to strengthen your marriage, please find another resource. These two ramble using all kinds of generalizations without any basis in the scientific research regarding interpersonal relationships and intimacy. If you want to listen to a man degrade his wife, ridicule her for having a low sex drive, and prioritize his needs over everything, this is the podcast for you. It’s this brainwashing of women into traditional wife/servant roles that takes feminism back decades.

If you are someone that wants advice from people that don’t periodically slip in negative comments about democratic policies then this is not for you. They have a subtle neo Christian-nationalist view that comes out after listening over several episodes. Very disappointing as a veteran to hear.

Although they are attempting to do a good job… Too much time focusing on their personal opinion and preferences! We don’t want to know what you two want and need in the bedroom…. People want advice that’s not limited to strictly your personal preferences.

Open, honest, and insightful

Nothing is more important to me than my relationship with my bride. I, however, am human and very fallable. Nick and Amy have helped me to open my mind to ways to improve my marriage and better understand my wife. This in turn has led to a closer bond and even more intimacy. I really enjoy this podcast! They are completely relatable. Such a real couple. I just wish they wouldn’t ever use a cuss word. :( I listen to podcasts a lot around my children. Disappointing.

Great feedback on things to watch out for.

Nick and Amy are always open and transparent in things that all couples experience. Every relationship has it’s trials and challenges, often those are all because of our self-centeredness. It’s always great to hear Nick and Amy share things that they have personally failed at, it’s helpful to know other people have had those “failing” moments as it helps let my own guard down and see that I too have those same things I need to work on. Improvement takes time

I am very grateful for this podcast. I appreciate Nick and Amy taking the risk in sharing vulnerable information about their relationship and how they show up for each other and acknowledge their differences and find ways to continue to serve each other and strengthen their love and friendship. I found the podcast through the app and Instagram posts in hopes of being able to leverage these intimacy tools together with my wife. Unfortunately, she doesn’t share my viewpoint in seeing the value in using the app or listening to the podcast on her own or together. I won’t go into the reasons I believe are behind her resistance. This is matter only God can help with and, some things just take time.

Worst advice ever

I wonder if this couple ever listen to their own recordings. Episode 169 about communication with you in about is essentially a half hour of them bickering about their own marital issues. This is really difficult to listen to because it is hard to know if they are even certified to talk about this stuff.

Every Christian Couple Needs this Podcast

For 7 years I thought something was wrong with me. Being raised in a Christian family where values & standards are high, but talking about sex & the body is taboo, I knew almost nothing about sexuality. I still loved connecting & being intimate with my husband, but I knew something was missing. Nick & Amy saved me! My marriage is stronger & sex is better because of the things I’ve learned & the conversations my husband & I have had about this podcast. Finally a SUBJECT that HAS to be talked about!!!

I love Nick and Amy’s brave yet fun way of addressing a subject that we really all could use a lesson on. Relationships today just seem to get harder and harder. I know I’m always looking for ways to spice things up and make my relationship better. I was super grateful to find this resource that I KNOW I will be recommending to my husband! (I’m sure he’s not going to argue about the intimacy part.) but seriously, The Ultimate Intimacy podcasts really do address some really important topics and they present them in a fun way that is real! I love that it allowed me to laugh at myself and my marriage, and not feel that we were too off the mark!! Also gave us some great tips. Great information and guests!!
