This is great that u have a couple of ways to listen, or watch. Topic to explore: if teachers are sending their kids away from group time but it’s not meant to “be a punishment”. If the kids can still see the book and still interact with the class, but they’re not sitting with them because of a behavior, is that still considered punishment?

If you want to learn developmentally appropriate practice from an amazing leader, this is the podcast! I’ve known Vanessa since she first started Pre-K Pages back in the day, and she’s the real deal!! Love everything she does!

I listened to this podcast and decided to give a child created bulletin board a try. We read the book The Shape of Things which turned shapes into objects. Then we made our own creations using shapes. It turned out great. The kids couldn’t make things fast enough. I posted the picture in my IG page @triciafsu

I was THRILLED when I learned Vanessa was doing a Podcast. I listen while I grab a bite to eat and it gives me just enough info to act on or put into practice. She has her finger on the pulse of current best practices in ECE and I so appreciate that! Working in a PK through 12 private school, it is easy to feel I should be “conforming” to K standards. No! I just watched the Podcasts on YouTube. They were amazing! I totally loved the videos and graphics you showed during your insightful discussions. The topics you covered were very helpful. I too had experiences when I first started teaching many many years ago where I had very little help or positive feedback. I had to rely on resource books and my imagination as well. I wish I had found a place like Pre-K Pages to help me back then.
