Jaimee MacElevating Early ChildhoodHave always loved and respected this podcast, and I’m enjoying the new short, “bite size” episodes that still pack a punch! Welcome back!
-
Jenny back upAwesomeThis is great that u have a couple of ways to listen, or watch. Topic to explore: if teachers are sending their kids away from group time but it’s not meant to “be a punishment”. If the kids can still see the book and still interact with the class, but they’re not sitting with them because of a behavior, is that still considered punishment?

Joy Anderson- Preschool SystemBest ECE podcast!!If you want to learn developmentally appropriate practice from an amazing leader, this is the podcast! I’ve known Vanessa since she first started Pre-K Pages back in the day, and she’s the real deal!! Love everything she does!
-
SamAnn25Awesome Tips for ECE Workers!!!Thanks for creating this podcast. It’s so relatable and bursting with actionable tips and suggestions. I work in an early childhood museum space and would love to hear tips you might have about interactions with littles who you might only see once and for a short amount of time. How do we as adults earn trust and accomplish goals if our time with young learners is fleeting? Thanks!

pacorcoran62So happy you have started this Podcast.Hi Vanessa, You are so good at explaining ECE. Have been binge listening from the beginning. I have been in the classroom since 1986, and have been practicing all the great skills you explain, for many years. You have such a great way of explaining things so that other teachers can understand why we do the things we do in the classroom. You have a great way of bringing things into reach so everyone can be a great Teacher of Young Children. You are a light in the dark of the chaos that can be in the classroom. Thank you Patricia Corcoran.

BX CEReally interesting!I love these podcasts! They are really interesting and very practical, especially for the new teacher I am :) I would love to hear a podcast on “ Parent teacher conferences” and how to talk to the parents about the “ difficult” students:). Thank you in advance! Cecilia

Janet NicoleWonderful podcast!I’ve just discovered the Elevating Early Childhood podcast and appreciate the wisdom and professional advice Vanessa so freely shares with Early Childhood educators. She’s fun, light-hearted and portrays a deep love and respect for teachers, especially those teaching pre-K. Thank you for all of the generous gems you give to your listeners. Looking forward to more podcast episodes! @goldendaysathome

Tricia BrinsonBulletin boardsI listened to this podcast and decided to give a child created bulletin board a try. We read the book The Shape of Things which turned shapes into objects. Then we made our own creations using shapes. It turned out great. The kids couldn’t make things fast enough. I posted the picture in my IG page @triciafsu

LittleLena*You need this!I was THRILLED when I learned Vanessa was doing a Podcast. I listen while I grab a bite to eat and it gives me just enough info to act on or put into practice. She has her finger on the pulse of current best practices in ECE and I so appreciate that! Working in a PK through 12 private school, it is easy to feel I should be “conforming” to K standards. No! Thank you Vanessa for helping me sift out myths from truth and follow my gut for what is truly going to help my PK students.

The FirstFlappy FanExcellent resourceVanessa is a veteran teacher, this podcast is full of useful resources! I’ve signed up for her newsletter and her teaching tribe group. She creates amazing ready to use resources. Her Soar to Success professional development is always thought provoking and interesting. I always come away with so many ideas to take into the classroom. I highly recommend this podcast and Vanessa Levin!

Happy Teacher😀A terrific resource!I just watched the Podcasts on YouTube. They were amazing! I totally loved the videos and graphics you showed during your insightful discussions. The topics you covered were very helpful. I too had experiences when I first started teaching many many years ago where I had very little help or positive feedback. I had to rely on resource books and my imagination as well. I wish I had found a place like Pre-K Pages to help me back then. Now as a veteran teacher, I still need help, for I am always learning and trying to make my students’ learning experiences better and more meaningful to them. Thanks for all the wonderful resources!
-

pk koholaElevating Early Childhood.I love your website and refer to it often. Thank you! I am inclined to like the podcast, but I am looking for actionable steps and tips to continue to improve my skills as a teacher. With me, you are preaching to the choir. I don’t need to be convinced to embrace a whole child, play-based approach to Early Education. I’m looking for inspiration! I hope as your podcast grows I will see more ideas that I can use to improve my classroom community. Good luck on this new endeavor- you are off to a good start!
-
prekJCExcited for all the gold nuggets!Yes! Great teachers need a community of like minded teachers for advice, communication, and collaboration. I’m a better Pre-K teacher because I have found my favorite support system in Pre-K Pages and Teaching Trailblazers! Now you’re sharing this fantastic podcast with us and, if I’m honest, I feel like you are in my classroom cheering me on every step of the way! I’m so excited and blessed to be a part of your teaching community and I look forward to all the gold nuggets of information you have to share!

#sCARE24Love the podcast idea!I listened to all 3 available podcasts at once. I can relate to the struggles of being the only teacher in the Early Childhood/preschool programs in schools so I know how important it is to connect with others who truly understand the importance early learning. I cannot wait for the next one. Thank you Vanessa for sharing your knowledge and connecting the early childhood community.
