I can’t remember how long I’ve been doing my ancestry , it’s more off than on , which is how I stumbled on your podcast and honestly cannot stop ! I’m hooked I used to watch Lost families on TV ,until it stopped , so this really fills the gap when you really donot have any answers to these crazy questions. It makes those of us out there in similar situations believe we are still worth it , no matter the circumstances .

I finished the last episode today and really hope there will be another season!

Thanks so much to all the people that shared their stories, including the host. All of the stories are fascinating, and the host is directly involved in a few of them. The host let everyone tell there own stories, but asks questions to keep the stories flowing, and explain the feelings of those directly involved. I found out I was donor conceived from a DNA test, so I like to listen to these types of stories to help me understand how others process their new discoveries from DNA tests. Podcast like these help normalize conversations about some lesser known types of families. I appreciate that this host had a direct connection, making these stories feel like they are being told to educate, not just entertain.

This show is so well written and presented. Such interesting stories about how DNA brings secrets to life and how it impacts those involved. I am an adoptee who found my birth family (including a full brother!) and am developing relationships with them. No one can understand this stuff unless you’ve been through it yourself. Thank you for sharing these stories!

I found this podcast scrolling through Facebook. I’m hooked. I listened to the first 4 episodes hoping for more. And when I saw that Samuel had added another 5 episodes I was so excited. I know more will come. I’ll just be over here patiently waiting.

I’m a podcast junkie and love to listen to investigative journalism. This is by far one of my favorite podcasts! Samuel is an excellent and compassionate interviewer who has been able to elicit such incredible and emotional stories. Please tell me there is a season 2 in the works!
