jhpryorGreat conversationRaquel should be a regular guest!

Shana NellingSo fun and educational too!I’ve been binge listening to the Wine Access Unfiltered podcast and have learned so much about wine in such a short amount of time. Amanda makes wine approachable and unpretentious but while still imparting reverence for the art of winemaking and significance of the industry. I am awaiting my first shipment from the Wine Access Unfiltered wine club and can’t wait to taste the wines along with Amanda and her guests and I continue to expand on my newfound passion for wine!

LAKeiserKnow-Nothing, Out of TouchThe comments made about sustainability and glass bottles were beyond ridiculous. Hosts should touch some grass and read a book. They cannot even pronounce “terroir” correctly.

BellecycleThe barrier to the world’s best wine isn’t price. It’s access. That is the tagline for Wine Access, and every time I listen to an episode, it is over-the-top indulgent, dripping with ostentatious excess. I want to learn about wine. That’s literally why I keep struggling through the episodes. But I can’t help but want to scream every time I hear a “I went here, did this, spent this, ate here, traveled there” along with the “You know x , right?” Weeding through the narrative is someone who works hard to be at the best places, with the most expensive wines, in the most outrageous places. It runs counterpoint to the very tag line of Wine Access. Please focus on the wine, and the stories, and the tastings. Forgo the constant wave of competition. I am a HUGE Wine Access Wine Club fan and have purchased dozens of cases over the past several years. I don’t have the bandwidth to care where you ate, or about your three thousand euro bottle of wine. I want to grow as a wine drinker and collector. Tell me less about how lucky you are and more about the wine in the glass. And research. There were so many elements of the Nat Wine Podcast, the most recent one I listened to, that were flat out wrong. Technically. Philosophically. Tighten the narrative with a bend toward education and enrichment. History, culture, weather, soil, anything. Additionally, I take notes during the podcast and I would like a touch more in terms of pronunciation and resource links. I’m scribbling down approximate names of wines that I spent time researching and trying to locate what you are referencing. Please add more show notes so I can find what you are talking about, or where I can learn about it or just enunciate so that I can live with parallel hopes of finding these treasures. (In this episode, I researched Black Sheep Lisboa, Newport Nat Pool, and Peto Rose Nat 3B for example . . .) Many thanks.

KTinCaliBest wine podcast!I love these ladies! So inspiring and knowledgeable. I just started working in the wine industry in Calistoga and love it. It’s so fun to listen to this podcast on my commute and it’s so applicable to my life! Thank you ladies, I am forever grateful for the info and fun stories 🍇🍷😁❤️

remdawggMakes wine fun againLearning about wine is daunting, but this podcast makes it enjoyable, removes the pretentiousness from wine and inspired to get back on my journey after being overwhelmed by my first wine course. The first season was fun and interesting, but the second season format is really smart, each diving into a specific theme while still pulling in the broader context. These podcast has even inspired - and helped me plan - an upcoming trip to Bordeaux. Highly recommend!

oh its like that?OBSSESSED!!I came across WAU about a month ago and have been binging it ever since. I kid you not, I’ve learned more from this pod than I did during my previous year with 3 wine club memberships. I can’t get enough and I’ve started implementing some of the things I’ve learned. Wines like port, which I didn’t used to like, are now enjoyable since I learned how to pair them with food. Listening to Amanda and Vanessa feels like hanging with the girls. This pod is a must for anyone who enjoys wine or is curious about wine!
-
mvelasco07Love this show!I appreciate the variety of episodes, the super practical takeaways, and the sincere humility of Amanda and Vanessa to give all of this amazing knowledge to their listeners for free.

JohnK8777Thank you!!I live in Napa Valley and have worked in the industry for 6 months and I listen almost everyday on my way to work. Your podcast is extremely helpful and informative. Fried chicken and champagne was an absolute game changer and I’ve shared that pairing with all of my guests and they were absolutely blown away! Keep up the great work and amazing content! You and Vanessa are absolutely amazing!!! 🍷🍇

London’s mamaWell, guess who’s going to NapaLadies, I am totally enjoying your podcast. So much so that I have booked my first trip to Napa! Thank you for making such a relatable and informative podcast.

Jen Sees YouBar HoppingAmanda and Vanessa, I discovered your podcast while currently studying for the bar exam and am loving it. I have intentionally gone dry for my exam but I cannot watch to hit the bar after the bar and have a glass (or few) of wine using some of my new found knowledge. Cheers to you both and keep up the great work!

RK from AustinBest wine podcastAmanda and Vanessa are so much fun to listen to. Wine can be a very technical subject and they make it enjoyable to listen to….

J-moneyyoMy favorite podcast! This podcast has quickly become my favorite to listen to. Amanda and Vanessa are funny, knowledgeable, and seem very down to earth. They share great information and I learn something new every episode. The guests have all been great as well. My wife and I just joined the Wine Access club and are excited to drink along with you. Thanks for so many great shows!

Klaw_625Fun show with great hostsHello Amanda and Vanessa! I just want to say I really enjoy listening to your show. The two of you are clearly having fun and I admit I’m a bit jealous I can’t be there to share a couple of glasses of wine with you! I just listened to your latest show, “How to store, serve and save your wine” and I wanted to share one caveat to your dislike of wine refrigerators. In general, I feel the same as you that anything outside of a Bordeaux bottle doesn’t fit well, except for Wine Enthusiasts “Vino View” line of refrigerators! This system puts the bottles ‘sideways’ to the door of the fridge instead of front to back and as a result, I can actually get 12 bottles on each shelf reliably! The only issue I’ve ever run into is if I try to load an entire side with nothing but Burgundy or Syrah bottles as those get a little crowded due to their increased diameter. (Shout out to the Wine Access team!) Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to your next episode! Keith L. P.s. - I don’t have any epiphany bottles but two of my Wine Access purchases, a ’17 Pikes Riesling and a ’10 Latour Volnay 1er Cru, stand out as bottles that I can recall at the drop of a hat!

GRF1399Fun show and you learn alot too!I’ve been a Amanda McCrossin fan for sometime now and she has gotten me excited about wine. The show is another great extension of how she takes wine and makes it a fun experience. I learn alot with the show but also have a good time with it. Vanessa Conlin is also excellent in the podcast, they have great chemistry and their love of wine is infectious. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves wine and wants to know more about it.

Tyler OngLoved the NDA wine episodeI’ve bought NDA wines from Wine Access over the past years but haven’t tasted them yet. I’m excited to give them a try after learning more about how NDA wines come to be. Great episode

andriabarr0331Fun and informativeLove your show! I’m learning so many new things and getting motivated to try new wines. Remembering a quote from one of your guests as my mantra for today, “wine is a beautiful pursuit.” Appreciate your efforts and can’t wait to hear more, keep up the excellent work!
-
Alexstrath1Amanda & Venessa put on a great show!Venessa said it best on last weeks show, one of the best parts is the wide range of guests that come on the show with such interesting backgrounds and perspectives - next to the fact that it’s also just a highly engaging show. Can’t wait for future episodes!
-
Ellebelle93Why so many dudes?Amanda and Vanessa are excellent hosts, but so far almost 80% of the show has been male guests. Hopefully this balances out in the future.
-
Kuma2476Great podcast! This podcast is great and I couldn’t stop listening to the episode with Bert Kreischer! I must have listened to it 2-3 times. The other interviews are fantastic overall great conversations.
-
CampusFlowersLoved Bert!Your episode w/ Bert K. was the most heartfelt and best one yet. I was glued to every minute of this podcast. His story and openness about uncle Jerry was absolutely phenomenal and how he related it to opening a bottle of wine and making a plan for his future was outstanding.
-
Wino LennyDustyLoved your episode with Dusty Baker. Seems like such a cool and down to earth guy. Would like to share some wine with him. Looks like a visit to Sacramento is in the near future. As a hard core Dodger fan, I loved him as a player. As a manager? Hmmm... he’s the enemy. Regardless, loved the podcast.
-
CheekyBstrdEntertaining and Informative Show About Wine and LifeI love how this show explores the wine passions of famous and semi famous people. They care about the same things in wine and life as the rest of us and are eager to learn more about wine. The hosts do a great job interviewing, entertaining, and educating as well!
-
Jason StandhopeExciting show about wineThis podcast is a great mix of the personal side of wine and learning more about the technical side of wine. Very entertaining!!!
-
adgrayI wanted to like this, but....I wanted to like this podcast. I actually love wineacccess.com. And I have liked many of their guests as people. But the podcast is not interesting, informative, or useful to me. Maybe because of my own background in wine (they assume their audience is complete wine newbies). I get annoyed listening to guests who know nothing about wine. It’s not entertaining or educational to me, unfortunately.

greaterndmoeRecommendationGuest recommendation: Pink/Alecia Moore. She has her own vineyard in Santa Barbara—Two Wolves—where her hands are involved in every step of the process.
-
thedopelegendBest wine podcast! Ever!I love how Amanda and Vanessa can make wine so interesting and relate it to all the guests! Such great hosts that engage amazing guests to share stories.
-
guil_vasqWhat A Great Podcast!I just heard about your podcast and just listened to the episode with Nomar Garciaparra. What a an amazing podcast with Nomar, it was totally down to earth listening to him, Amanda and Vanessa and I can’t wait to catch up on the earlier podcasts. I just recently received my first order from Wine Access and can’t wait to drink them after I let them sit for about seven days. And I can’t wait to order more.
-
smsmdVery entertainingGreat conversation with Nomar! Could you include the wine details in the show notes?

RiyarfGood wines and good fun!I’ve only listened to the Tiki Barber episode so far, but I’m loving it! Such a fun mix between wine chat and learning more about the guests’ backgrounds (I love football and I love Broadway - how did I not know Tiki was in Kinky Boots!). Can’t wait to dig into the next episodes!

Katelyn rebeccaLove this! This is such a great podcast! Love that it’s about wine but not a typical wine podcast, it’s amusing and down to earth.

fokt23Goes down smoothAmanda and Vanessa’s expertise and experience not only make the world of wine more accessible, but creates a unique window into each of their guests’ lives and the connections that wine creates.

Mitch BaccinelliLove this podcast! It’s rare to find a podcast that tries to cover such a scope of topics and succeeds at it, but this one definitely does. I came to this podcast for the wine but stayed for the conversation...and the wine. Amanda and Vanessa are the perfect hosts because they let their amazingly interesting guests shine while anchoring the podcast with their wonderful personalities and wine knowledge. This is definitely part of my podcast mainstays now!
-
AnmccroThe podcast the wine world has been waiting forWhile I love all my geeky wine interview podcasts, this is such a breath of fresh air.
