I have been watching Parker’s notebook channel for two years now. I recently found this podcast of his and have been really enjoying it. His talks really get me pondering about concepts philosophy, religion and fiction. The guests he has on are super fascinating too!

Parker’s Pensees has become one of my top 3 podcasts of all time. Really enjoyable philosophy podcast than manages to be accessible to the novice philosopher without being dumbed down.

This podcast is absolutely vital for any Christian looking to hear the best philosophical arguments for Christianity from the best philosophers alive. I am also probably better at juijitsu than Parker lol

Parker is a great interviewer and a smart guy. I’m better at jiu jitsu than him, though.

Millennial Parker discusses philosophic speculations, which are sometimes interesting. I am annoyed by the constant use of "dude", "awesome", and "super", which do not enhance the intended intellectual goals of the podcast. The French word pensees should be pronounced "pan says". Speculative philosophy (gedanken) can be fun from time to time, and the podcast never portrays itself as anything other than that. But, as a Christian, it's certainly nothing to build one's house upon.

Excellent podcast! Highly thoughtful, but still accessible.

Parker is currently running, in my opinion, the best Christian philosophy/theology podcast right now. He brings on brilliant thinkers & thinkers you’ve likely never heard of. He asks all the right questions & articulates them well.

I enjoy listening to these conversations on my long runs. Solid stuff!

I love this guy, he’s got great philosophy and religion podcast with many major and leading philosophers, scholars, Christians etc.. such as Dr Josh Rasmussen, Dr Mark Sainsbury, dr William Hasker, etc…. I really do recommend his podcasts!

Parker is a great philosopher and interviewer. He brings on top notch Scholars and interviews them for substantive and incisive conversations.

Needs more emphasis on Christian orthodoxy and not speculation. Rating lowered because the host decided to belittle my initial review at the start of an episode. Disappointed and unsubscribed.

Very much enjoying Parker’s Pensees. It is very challenging to be a good interviewer and Parker is gifted in that. He is an excellent reader and thinker and I look forward to more content. His cadence and sense of wonder reminds me of Lex Fridman, which is good.

Parker has been pumping out some incredible content that is honestly more entertaining and engaging than a lot of the much larger Podcast and YouTube channels. What makes Parker stand out from the rest is his ability to critically interact with the topics and literature at a level that others simply cannot; he is a student after all! Not only that, Parker’s guests are world renowned in their field making each episode more exciting than the last. If you want to be challenged intellectually as well as greatly entertained by some of the most interesting discussions in theology and philosophical inquiry, you need to subscribe to Parker’s Pensees. You will not regret it.

This podcast is by far my current favorite! Parker has some of the leading scholars in philosophy and theology on to talk about things they love and that he is passionate about. That passion comes through on every episode. If you are interested in theology or philosophy this is a must listen to grasp doctrines and philosophy concepts.

Parker is a great listener and interviewer who has already had a variety of interesting guests on even in the podcast’s infancy. I hope he continues to pursue this passion and that more and more people take note! The topics discussed are diverse and becoming more so as time goes on.

Parker brings a ton of thought provoking questions to the table as well as immense knowledge during his discussions in his podcast. Also, has a viral YouTube channel that you should check out. Giant African Bullfrogs for the win!

Parker is one of the most thought provoking people I’ve listened to. Every topic he delves into is well thought out and I’m impressed by his ability to use reason and logic to draw conclusions. I’ve also had the privilege of debating and conversing with him personally and I cherish it every time. The guy is passionate about philosophy and making sense of this crazy universe, but also brings wit and humor to the conversation, which makes for a great listen!

I’ve enjoyed listening to Parker’s podcast episodes already! He is such a deep, intellectual thinker while also thinking out of the box and allowing others to think more critically. I appreciate his knowledge and can’t wait to listen to more!! I’ll definitely be listening to his podcast on my upcoming road trip!

The first few episodes have been really interesting so far! Parker gives helpful explanations to deep questions in a way that is understandable for people who haven’t studied much philosophy. Looking forward to more!

The topics that have and will be covered in this podcast are unique to any other out there today. Parker engages the listener with deep thinking questions and helpful insight as he tackle questions you’ve probably never thought about. Excellent resource if you want to dive deeper into philosophical dilemmas with practical application

Parker takes the thoughts you have when you’re laying on your back looking at the stars and somehow finds a way to answer them in terms that you can understand. His podcast is filled with energy and is easy to listen to! He has incredible story telling skills and an even better sense of humor. It’s evident that everything he shares is researched thoroughly, but he finds a way to consolidate it to what you really need to consider and know. I find these podcasts the quickest, fun and most helpful way to learn about HUGE concepts I normally am too scared to even begin researching! This is a podcast for the brainiest philosophers and the know nothings who want to try and know a little bit of everything (like me!)! Do yourself a favor and listen!!!

Parker is a unique bird in the Christian philosophy podosphere. He wrestles with questions that you can tell he himself wants to know the answers to, and it’s also clear that he’s put in the hard work to come to a satisfying answer. This is a rare gem of a podcast that will have you looking anywhere and everywhere for a private place to hide so you can finish the episode. I can imagine many guys crouching under their desks at work, wrapping up an episode and saying, “Thanks a lot, Park!” When life comes at you like an African bullfrog hunting down an innocent mouse, you *need* to be ready. Parker’s Pensées will help you be ready. 5/5 stars.
