Podcast reviews from the spouse of a host should be given even more credence than typical reviews and here’s why: If you have to listen to your husband’s random thoughts all day every day and then you choose to listen to more of his random thoughts on his podcast on your own time, well there’s gotta be something there, right? Joking aside, I love the pod. It’s a lot more than just random thoughts. The questions are fun to answer along with and Charles and Ben have such a great rapport. Plus they’ve hosted some seriously cool guests. Some of my faves have been Yia Vang, Dessa, and the most recent Kate Nelson episode. The Lover’s Edition was a sweet idea and Ben’s wife seems super cool but I’m not sure about that other lady.

I knew Ben when we were kids running around summer camp and only discovered this podcast recently and I’ve loved going through the back catalog of episodes. It’s so great to hear what he and Charles have been able to accomplish with this show! It’s fun, engaging, witty and relevant. The perfect weekly fix while in the car commuting or around the house.

I went to high school with Ben. So I thought “what the heck?- I’ll listen to an episode and see what it’s all about”. And now I’m hooked!! The thoughtful and deep answers from these amazing humans as well as the laughs and funny stories, are what keeps me coming back for more. (I’ve also gotten two shoutouts from Ben- so awesome. ) keep up the fine work gentlemen! Cheers!

During this past year, things have gotten really bleak for an awful lot of us for an awful lot of different reasons. One of the things many of us have missed is being able to sit with a few friends, have a few drinks, and find a way to dull the roar of the world back down to a whisper. Listening to the hosts get more comfortable from episode to episode has been a pleasure.

Fantastic- the next best thing to having your “spot” open for business. Heck, it’s as good.

There is a lot to like about this pod. First and foremost, Ben and Charles are funny, smart, and genuine. Add in a unique format and diverse guests, and you end up with something many of us have missed lately - ever evolving conversations with friends. Their topics/questions always have me thinking about my own answers and stories, which draws your deeper into each episode.

Charles and Ben put together a great show in a laid-back format, that doesn’t take things too seriously, while still keeping things interesting. They’ve got a wonderful group of guests and bring wonderfully diverse backgrounds. Highly worth a listen.

I finally got to listen to the debut episode. Thoroughly enjoyed it for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, your personalities really cane through. It definitely felt like I was sitting at the bar with you. Wasn’t able to “drink along” because I’m at work. Keep them coming! Cheers!
