Jason, the Cowboys took the nickname “America’s Team” for themselves as far back as the 70’s. It had to do with Staubach and his squeaky clean-Navy-Heisman image. In the 80’s, when they stunk and won zero Super Bowls, it took on an ironic sense, ie what a joke America’s Team.

Besides help taking fs1’s “The Herd” jmac’s individual podcast gives great in-depth analysis on NBA regarding rumors and likely trade scenarios that they might not have time for on “herd” especially during NFL season. He’s also great for gambling tidbits that don’t always get full time segments on “herd” - best of all are jmac’s completely original analogies. First one (that hit home as ravens fan) was Lamar Jackson as the Kawhi Leonard of NFL, which was later picked up on “herd” but today Kyrie as a “scorpion” is spot on! And even better, was the “kyrie fits well in Texas because it’s mostly FLAT” (a la kyries flat earth comments) and the Laker jobronis wanted kyrie. Any true nba fan would likely not want kyrie on their team. I never heard kyrie tried to sink the NBA bubble year until today’s podcast. Worth a listen, can’t wait to see what’s next for KD trade speculation!

I’ve been a of Jason now for a long time. Funny dude. But as a Seahawks fan, I can proudly say that nothing brought me more pleasure than seeing him with our beautiful logo shaved into the side of his head. Jason comes across as someone who is trying to convince you how cool he is. Not only does he waste the first 8-10 minutes of most podcasts with an update of his rec-league basketball stories, but he usually tries to hype himself up in those stories that nobody cares about. Occasionally he’ll make a good point but it’s not a pod I’d recommend, mostly because you constantly have to skip ahead to hear takes on the NBA, NFL & College Sports. It’s annoying to have to skip ahead to actual ‘relevant’ sports takes on EVERY SINGLE PODCAST! Stop talking about your rec-league man! You sound phony and nobody cares about it, except for Jason McIntyre, which if I’m not mistaken, IS NOT YOUR AUDIENCE!

Best takes, love the gambling advice, just a great overall sports podcast. Get on board before he becomes one of the main personalities to be an OG

The show would be fine but we could do without the excessive name calling of other iconic sports legends, leave your emotions at the doorstep and just critique. No need to call people idiots, clowns, buffoons or anything disrespectful. That reason alone will not get you anywhere in the business. Remember as a kid you were told if you wouldn't say it to someones face DONT SAY IT AT ALL!!!

Great show, always there in the morning to listen to before work. And Jason gets great guest listen everyday is my favorite podcast.

Inspired to give a shout out to Jason for having Rufus Peabody on his show. Very interesting and informative on analytics as it relates to sports gambling. I look forward to the show every morning. I even like it when he goes into his personal life. Gives the show a human touch.

Big fan, long time listener, but I unsubscribed today because of the tone-deaf comments surrounding Carl Nassib. I get it that you maybe don’t want to dedicate airwaves to a personal decision, but you didn’t need to come off as so aggressively homophobic, just echo the view of the entire NFL. Listened to this show for over 2 years, loved Jason’s “dad takes” and honestly brought me a lot of joy. But after today, I’m done. Sorry.

This podcast is straight fire! Jason has the hottest takes that drip with controversy. None of the same old takes as other hosts! He brings a unique twist to the biggest issues in sports, which I really appreciate. I love how cringey Jason is, especially in the ad for this podcast. He’s my favorite person to laugh at.
