    So refreshing.
This podcast is such a blessing. I found it while I was dealing with one of the worst hangovers of my life. I believe alcoholism is a spectrum and its so refreshing to hear stories from people on all levels of it. This podcast has helped me stay sober. Any time I have a craving I think about Danni and all of her guests and it brings me so much strength and determination. I will continue to listen to an episode every single day. Thank you Danni for bringing this into my life!

    Genuine presence
Warm, calm, and present to her guests, Danni’s podcast remains a favorite even into my third year of sobriety. She shares insights and the tools she uses to fully embrace a sober life, in both good times and bad.

    No need to condemn others
I just finished listening to ep 158. Happy for guest, but much of the podcast focused on negative remarks and judgement on people who choose to drink. If you prefer a positive focus, skip this PC.

    A Pleasure
This podcast is a pleasure to listen to if you’re seeking pleasure in life without alcohol. It’s resonating, reassuring, raw, and real… a true pleasure and a real gem of a listen. Highly recommended.

    YES!!!
Stumbled across this podcast a week ago, and I can’t stop listening. Danni Carr is incredible; she’s the cool, wise, funny (and alcohol-free) sister everyone wishes they had. For an extra special treat, listen to her podcasts with husband Ash Grunwald; together, they’re a spiritual powerhouse.

    Excellent!
Found you on Casey’s Hello Someday podcast and am really enjoying yours too! Stopped drinking about a year ago and really like pods like yours that support and educate on the upside of not feeling crappy anymore! Thank you.

Real People, Real Stories.. There’s Hope
I did a search for sobriety and AA trying to find information on why my ex boyfriend can’t quit drinking. What is going on in the his mind and how I can help him. His drinking has torn us apart. This podcast came up at the top. It is real and the stories of others has helped me learn and understand better. There is so much helpful information here! And I appreciate the follow up stories, like Lyndal’s. Keeping at it everyday, going to the meetings, etc… Thank you!

    Hooked from day one
I woke up on Memorial Day this year (at around 3am) and decided that I just could no longer do life the way that I had been doing it. Something had to change. I began searching for podcasts and came across this one- I was hooked. Danni has the most soothing voice and sounds like someone that I would choose for a best friend! I had originally set out to do “Dry June”, but decided after listening to go for 100 days. Today I have 98 days alcohol free and have no intention of drinking again. I highly recommend subscribing to this podcast.

    I am not alone
I am grateful to find you. I was weeping as I listened this morning. Feeling I had found my people who get it. I’m am new to listening to podcasts. I quit drinking over 10 years ago. These are my stories too. I can’t wait to hear more.

    Shifts your perspective
I only started listening two days ago, but I can already feel that my perspective about drinking has changed. I don’t want to stop drinking completely, but would like to be able to drink once a week or so. Listening to others’ experiences has been invaluable because their stories are so relatable for me. It helps to hear about all the positive gains that are possible when you are not a daily slave to alcohol. I already feel myself changing and learning how to deal with my anxiety and boredom in a more beneficial way. When I have been craving a drink in the late afternoon when I’m in the kitchen, putting on this podcast has absolutely curbed those cravings! I haven’t had much success in limiting my drinking in a controlled way, but I do believe that inundating myself in media like this is going to make a difference. Thank you so much.
