I love Disney podcast

Fantastic podcast! Rachel and Erin provide such intricate, thoughtful analyses of every Disney film; their discussions always give me a deeper understanding of the movies, their more problematic qualities, and the context in which they were created. And the two hosts have a great dynamic, besides! It’s like listening to friends. If you’re interested in Disney, or in dissecting pop culture as a reflection of our culture at large, make sure to check this one out.

As someone who is a big fan of Disney but also has conflicted feelings about some of the old films’ content, I love the critical theory and context that DeconDisney provides. What a perfect example of how to love a thing and also acknowledge it’s history of harm. I learn so much from this show!

Love this podcast. I listen on my long commutes. Erin and Rachel are so smart and so funny and truly LOVE Disney. It’s a fun show that addresses all the good of Disney and all the highly problematic.
