Despite being homeschooled myself (more of a classical and textbook approach though) and knowing the benefits, I felt overwhelmed at the thought of planning schooling for my own children and was missing that spark of inspiration and joy. It sounded like a chore…. Until I came across “The Modern Miss Mason” book and podcast, and suddenly all the overwhelm faded away they painted a vision of homeschooling that was a delightful and exciting thing to look forward to rather than an overwhelming task to plan for. Thank you so much!!

I’m not sure why exactly, but at the point in my CM leaning journey when I listened to Episode 1 of this podcast, I just wasn’t ready. Fast forward a couple of months and it quickly became one of my favorite moments of the day! Leah’s relaxed style, soothing voice, and wise insights - rooted in realistic experience and expectations - are a rarity in a world brimming with “experts” and those who make you feel like you aren’t quite doing “enough”. Her guests are unique, energizing, and enriching. I cannot wait to continue my listening, and learning, journey.

Covid threw us into virtual school which was a shock for us. I felt like I was doing it all wrong and couldn’t wait for it to end...until I was introduced to Leah Boden’s podcast. When I met Charlotte Mason through Leah, I realized that at home learning could be so much more than what I was experiencing. My chest was heavy with hope as I devoured each show. We are now committed to homeschooling and the Charlotte Mason philosophy has become part of our home culture. Thank you, Leah!

I love listening to many of the podcasts here. My two favorites have been the interviews with Sally Clarkson and the one with Cindy Rollins. And also the one she did with her husband. She is a lovely person, and strives to make the listening time enjoyable and rewarding.

This podcast has been the best home ed resource I’ve discovered in the last 18 months. I’ve been home educating for over 15 years yet am constantly looking for encouragement and quality ideas. Leah’s podcast has brought all that and much more. We are an Anglo-American family currently in the US so I also appreciate the familiarity of the English cultural nuance that she provides.
