professor mpsInformed and Nuanced Treatment of HistoryWhen Dublin Rushed North was a superb episode capturing nuanced layers of identity in a thoughtful and balanced way while also telling the story of a fascinating historical episode. Entirely worth listening. I’ve learned a great deal from Donal Fallon’s podcast.

Marin514Packed with History for those Curious About DublinI just listened to Donal Fallon’s latest piece on Henrietta St and learned more about Georgian Dublin in 30 mins then all the years spent in history classes. In truth Dubliners and more broadly the Irish have a fraught relationship with the distinctive architecture of the 18th century. Donal doesn’t shy away from the question of anglophilia nor the history of Dublin tenement life. Great stuff
