eahivNo ads! There’s no better mix of modern computing updates, exquisite classic computing tales and all around entertainment.

smt🕺let the guests talk, know-it-all dudeThe interviewer is a know-it-all and interrupts his guests. Hate podcasts like this, your guests are the interesting part so let them talk. Nobody cares how much about computers you know, in fact, the podcast would be better if you knew less and at least admitted it. Interesting guests and subject matter though, and high production value. l

Duhman117Very very informative and an enjoyable listenWonderful show. As a millennial whose trying to download compsci info, I appreciate this show.

cgburgessIncredibly entertaining and educationalI recommend this podcast to anyone interested in computers and or their history. Whether you love hardware or software, there is something for everyone. The guests on the show are amazing and their stories are one of a kind. The hosts are equally great. If you haven’t heard of Bryan before, go down the rabbit hole of watching his conference talks, he is an amazing speaker/presenter. Jessie has a great blog I also recommend (and then her HACF enthusiasm got me to binge an entire show). Steve is also great and makes you feel like your not the only one who hasn’t heard of some acncient piece of tech.

ne405Great techinal podcastI was looking for a techincal programming podcast, this is it thanku

hey_i_tryGreat stories and conversationsIt was amazing to hear all of the career and project stories by people working with low-level hardware and graphics, and with experience programming efficient software at every level between. Don’t let the three-stars get you down! And Jess has heard of everything. Let her say what she hasn’t. Great job all around and can’t wait to see what your experience from the first season brings, though I hope it’s still very free-form so people can tell their stories.

tobin cantrill👍👍👍👍

chalcidflyGreat if you like CantrillThis show should really be called “Conversations with Cantrill”. Jess and Steve seem like really awesome people but they’re not adding much to the conversation. I’d love to see Bryan talk a little (or a lot) less and the other two pipe in more. Otherwise, pretty interesting show.

Alan SguignaExcellentThis is my favorite podcast right now. A walk down computing’s memory lane (pun intended). All technology, no fluff, and the chemistry between Bryan, Jess and Steve is great.

Km9843Interesting with caveatsSuper interesting subject matter Ames long form interviews that get into many fun details of computing history. Would recommend Bryan spend less time asking Jess if she knows about some piece of old tech; that pattern is quickly getting old.

Kc428On Prem...spot onJess, thank you for making the point about awesome uses for on-prem technologies despite the trend ("hype" in my opinion) to go to the cloud. I think a lot of people are like lemmings when it comes to cloud without actually considering all of the security and performance implications. Great show!
